How to Use Parachutes – SCUM
Parachutes are items that you can use to Sky Dive. Keep in mind that you can only use them once and you have to find another again if you want to Sky Dive once more. You can also take a look at your map while you are Sky Diving in the air.
To safely Sky Dive and have more control over where you land, you should stay laying flat while you are falling. Mouse scrolling down or up will increase or decrease the speed of your fall but you will not have a lot of control over where you land.
The key trick here is to lay flat while you are falling and press the directional keys on where you want to go while falling. You will cover a huge amount of distance and be able to control your character while in the air.
If you freefall using your mouse scroll wheel, you will get to the ground faster, for about 25 seconds but you cannot change the direction of your fall.
