When you’re playing a fighting game like My Hero Ultra Rumble, you kind of expect to be able to use all of your favorite story characters that you fawn over per season – and you should. Not everyone gets the same screen time as the main characters so you would have good reason to want to try messing around with everybody else.
Unlocking all of the characters in the game is both easy and complicated at the same time, because why wouldn’t it be? Find out more by making use of the quick guide below!
How To Unlock All Characters
There’s a plethora of ways to unlock characters in this game, one of them is by accessing the License Tab.
In there, you’ll see Season and Special. Click on Special instead to see all of the characters you can unlock until you get to Level 30. Max that out and you can get All Might.
Another way of obtaining a character in My Hero Ultra Rumble is by actually rolling for them or through the Exchange System. That’s right, it’s back to the casino for you.
By going to the Roll Tab, you can roll for the character you want and also view the drop rates for other items – none of them have good chances.
There’s a huge gap between Himiko and All Might. Once you get Himiko at level 15, you won’t be getting another character until you hit 30.
It will take you an insane amount of time, along with hundreds of matches to get all the way to level 30.
If you’re going the Money Route, then you’re going to need at least $75 to buy 44,000 Hero Crystals.
That amount will be enough to earn you points all the way to the last level. That’s a day’s worth of pretending to look busy at the office compared to doing more grueling work grinding when you get home.
For the other characters that aren’t in the special section, you can go back to the Roll Tab. Open the Drop Rates to give yourself a hard time sleeping at night, unless you’re a gacha enjoyer.
You also have the Character Tickets. This is another separate currency that you can get from the Standard Shop. You can purchase these tickets or get some for free by claiming them your mail.
These tickets only guarantee three characters, however. Getting these tickets will give you access to Kaminari, Kendo, and Iida.
In order to get character tickets, you’re going to go to have to back and roll for your characters normally.
The more you roll for characters, the more character tickets you’ll get. Provided you never get the character you want of course.
And that is how you unlock all of the characters in My Hero Ultra Rumble. Try playing the game first and see if grinding a character for two to three months is worth the effort!
