Assassins Creed is Ubisoft’s flagship franchise that is back after a hiatus. The latest entry in the series is Assassins Creed Mirage, set in Baghdad and lets you to step into the shoes of Basim. The game features a massive open world with beautiful and breathtaking environments that players can explore.
There is also Downloadable Content available for the game for those players who purchased the deluxe edition. It pays homage to Ubisoft’s Prince of Persia series with certain items. This guide will focus on how you can claim these rewards.
How To Claim Deluxe Edition Rewards
This pack contains a Mountain Outfit, Sword, and Dagger, which will have unique abilities that can assist you in your journey across Baghdad.
Additionally, there will also be a special mission that will be available only to players who have access to this pack. Besides this, there will be some cosmetic items that you can use.
To get access to the deluxe edition items, you will need to play around two hours of the game. This will include the Prologue and the Tutorial that will help you get familiarized with the game’s mechanics.
After this, you will have to complete a few additional missions before you get access to the Hidden One’s Bureau, which is the hub of operations for Basim.
Once the cutscene finishes, a small prompt should pop up, as shown in the image below, indicating that you have unlocked the Forty Thieves quest.
Once you see the mission prompt, you will want to head upstairs to the Bureau to pick up a special orb, as shown in the image below.
You should also have unlocked the additional content, including the weapons and armor.
Weapons
The weapons include the Sand Sword and the Sand Dagger, which are quite powerful weapons with unique abilities.
The dagger can slow down time following a perfect parry, while the sword can heal the wielder. Besides this, you also get a Sand Outfit that allows you to survive lethal blows.
Each of these outfits and weapons can be upgraded at the Blacksmith using materials. As part of the Deluxe Pack, you will also receive the upgrade schematics, meaning you only need materials.
Lastly, you can unlock the special mount and eagle from the vendor.
Unlocking Horse and Eagle
The stables vendor can also be found in the Harbiyah region in the game. The location of the vendor is shown in the map image above near the Qutrabbul Gate.
Once you talk to the vendor, you should see the Sand Horse in your inventory ready to equip.
It is important to note that these mounts and the eagle do not provide you with any special abilities.
Their appearance is purely cosmetic, so keep that in mind when equipping them. Switching to the second table in the vendor’s inventory will also allow you to equip the Sand Eagle.
