Ubisoft has always had these massive open-world games since the early days of Assassin’s Creed. It’s their main selling point, having these amazing-looking worlds that take hours to explore. In Assassin’s Creed Mirage, it’s still the same with a large map filled with all sorts of mini missions and quests you can do. Some of these quests though can be a bit confusing due to how the map is so detailed.
In this guide, we’ll show you how to find the key in the Four Markets in the game. We’ll also show you what chest that key opens so you can get some treasure!
The Four Markets Key Location
These open-world Assassin’s Creed games often have a lot of collectibles you can find in them. Each section has a laundry list of things to find, and it can be really fun for some people who like being completionists.
Here’s the location of the key in the Four Markets area.
Obtaining The Key
In order to find the Four Markets key in the Abbasiyah region southwest of the Round City, you’ll have to pickpocket it from an NPC.
In the middle of the Soap Boiler District and the Four Markets is a building, you can use the image below as a reference.
Remember to use your eagle vision to see where the key icon is. We’re looking for a guy that is on the second floor of a building.
He’s overlooking the streets outside through a window. Below the window to the right is a doorway you can go through.
Go inside the building and go up the stairs directly in front of you when you go in.
On the second floor, you can find the NPC that has the key, it’s in his pouch. You’ll need to pickpocket the key out of him, don’t mess up now!
Using The Key
Now that we have the key, we’ll need to head to the southwestern area of the Four Markets, next to the chest icon. We can’t go directly to the chest, since there’s stuff blocking the way.
You can use the image above and below as a reference on which building it is. You’ll need to go inside the building, using the key you pickpocketed, where there are two fire pots and a barred door.
Ignore the fire hazard of the room, go through the barred door and head to the right.
You’ll see a building shown below which has a breakable wall. Take one of the fire pots and destroy one section of the wall. Don’t waste the second fire pot on the other section, we’ll need it inside.
Once you’ve destroyed the wall, go back to the room and get the second fire pot. You’ll need to throw it on the destructible section of the ceiling this time shown in the image below.
Once you’ve destroyed that section of the ceiling, drag the shelf near the wall directly below the hole you just made. Then, climb on top of it to get to the second floor.
On the second floor, there will be a Gear Chest. Inside is the Zanj Uprising Dagger, a treasure you can collect.
