Things are never really that simple when it comes to exploration in Lords of the Fallen, but that’s part of the experience after all. The game just wants you to head off in a different direction first. You know, to show you the other sights worth seeing.
But if you really want to get through those doors then you’ll have to find the Skyrest Bridge Key. It’s in a rather unceremonious place, so it’s going to be easy to miss. If you haven’t had any luck in finding the key, then stick around and read the guide below to progress further!
How To Get The Skyrest Bridge Key
Once you defeat Pieta, activate the Vestige of Chabui in the Sanctuary of Baptism. This is a good place to start if you want to be able to follow along with the guide.
As you go further down, you’ll also make use of your Soul Flay to access one of the statues holding on to the key.
Make you way to the Hanging Platforms. It’ll be right outside of the vestige. Turn right and you’ll find a ladder going down.
Do a little bit of walking (or running if safety isn’t a priority) until you see the two hanging platforms in front.
Jump from one platform to another while avoiding the enemies camping the ledges. They’re there to do one thing and that’s to ruin your day. You’ll find another ladder going up once you clear the last platform.
Climb up the ladder and follow the rickety floorboards until you get to an indoor area. At the end of this area is a lever that you’ll need to pull in order to call an elevator going up.
Descend down the stairs once you get to the fountain area. Run straight and take the bridge going to the right. Go to the very end of the bridge and look for the platform on the right side.
Use your Umbral Lamp to illuminate the path and get on top of the platform. Might as well take the Faithful Bludgeon and get it out of the way. It’s on the very same platform you’re dropping into.
Now, turn around and head under the bridge. Use your lantern again to reveal another hidden path.
Go to the Umbral Realm and use Soul Flay to activate the bridge in front of you. Watch your back while waiting for the bridge, all it takes is one push for you to redo everything you just read.
Cross the bridge and run towards the left. Here you’ll see another platform with a statue on it.
Use Soul Flay on the statue to yank out the Skyrest Bridge key from its hands. Now, get out of there before you get rushed by the shadows!
Now, you know how to get the Skyrest Bridge key in Lords of the Fallen. You’ll find another statue that lets you get back to the world of the living. Get rid of your pursuers if you want to continue exploring!
