Dungeon Hunter 6 is finally here! And with it, comes 5 different classes to choose from. Like most dungeon-crawler games, each one offers a unique playstyle. Now, if you’re having a hard time decide which class to pick and play, I’m here to help! I’ll cover all the classes, as well as show their advantages and disadvantages. Let’s jump right into it!
Best Class To Play
So, let’s kick things off by going over the available classes. There’s a total of 3 classic classes, and 2 new interesting classes you can choose in the game. I’ll cover every single one of them to help you decide which class to pick.
Warrior
First up, we have the Warrior. If you’ve played the beta or seen some gameplay, you’ll notice that the Warrior is quite similar to the Barbarian from Diablo. So, if you’re looking for something entirely new, you might be a bit disappointed.
The Warrior class feels like your classic frontlining, spin-to-win Barbarian. It packs familiar skills and effects, offering tankiness, high HP, and lower attack. There’s nothing groundbreaking here; it’s pretty much what you’d expect.
Assassin
Next, we’ve got the Assassin, which closely resembles the Demon Hunter from Diablo. Expect a fast-paced, ranged character with decent defense and attack but lower HP.
You’ll find yourself dual-wielding bows and dealing impressive AoE damage, which feels quite reminiscent of the Demon Hunter’s playstyle.
Mage
Moving on to the Mage, it draws clear inspiration from the Wizard in Diablo. One of its standout abilities mimics a particular skill from Diablo, involving constant energy beams and magic damage.
With high attack but low durability, the Mage is your classic glass cannon. If you enjoy casting powerful spells and dishing out damage, this one’s for you.
Boon Sister
First, we have the Boon Sister. This support class, similar to the Paladin from Diablo, excels in defense, healing, and buffing. It’s perfect for those who enjoy team play and partying up with friends.
In a game that encourages multiplayer cooperation, having a Boon Sister in your party can be a game-changer. With high defense, low HP, and low attack, it’s not for the solo players out there.
Archer
This class stands out with its more balanced approach, offering both solid attack and HP. It doesn’t directly mimic any Diablo counterpart.
Its playstyle is reminiscent of older Archer classes from games like A3: Still Alive. The Archer offers a satisfying, ranged experience that’s quite different from the Assassin.
Which Class Should You Pick?
A noteworthy point is that most classes are ranged, except for the Warrior. Melee classes might find it more challenging to deal with certain boss monsters due to their close-range attacks. Keep this in mind when making your choice.
Now, while class selection is important, the real heart and soul of the game lies in the Lieutenants. These boss monsters, once defeated, can be recruited as your loyal allies. They provide vital support, dealing damage, and bringing special skills and effects to the table.
The strength of your Lieutenants can often outweigh your class choice when facing off against other players. So, focus on assembling the best team of lieutenants.
