More treasure maps have been added to Genshin Impact with Update 4.2 in Fontaine. Each of the treasure map hides a piece of information about the loot, but not without the story–often sombre–that explains their existence. We’re going to show you the location of the Treasure Maps and where they lead. Here we go!
All Fontaine Treasure Maps Locations (8)
There’s a total of 8 Treasure Maps in Fontaine. A majority of them are near side quests that you can do around Fontaine, which are the best way to accidentally bump onto them.
Most of them are located within the Morte Region, particularly surrounding the mysterious tower within the huge crater. Each map leads directly to the location of the treasure. Here are the locations of all the Treasure Maps.
Athos’s Confession is located just behind the Waypoint inside a clamshell. You may have encountered this one as you’re doing Search in the Algae Sea World Quest while exploring the Mysterious Ruins.
Liam’s Ballad is not far from Athos’s Confession. Leave the ruins, swim towards the surface and then head north a bit.
You’re going to see another clam shell in a small ruin with a ball puzzle. Enter from the window here and then hit the lever to remove the wall around it.
Rogue’s Writings is to the east of the tower, inside a clam shell within a small ruin. It’s near a reed pipe puzzle and is very close to the surface, so you can use the Waypoint and just jump in.
Swim to the south to find the Autumn’s Regrets. If you look down, you can see 3 shells line up cascading down. Autumn’s Regrets is hidden inside the topmost shell.
Swim all the way southeast from here for Rocky Avildsen’s Disappearance. Before the Waverider Waypoint around the ruins is another clam shell.
If you’d like, you can grab that Waverider Waypoint first before we continue. We’re going to head west now, grabbing that Waypoint on the way if you haven’t.
If you did, just teleport there and swim west all the way before we reach the shore. There’s the Parker’s Hope treasure map.
Grab the Waverider Waypoint and use that for the next one. Ride north to the next ruins location. At the southwest area is a clam shell where you can find Barrow’s Expectations.
And then finally, Freeman’s Announcement, which is best done together while doing the Free Verse quest.
It’s going to come with a series of quest that allows you to travel faster through the water to reach the treasure map. If you missed it, here’s the location.
