With the release of Call of Duty Modern Warfare III comes the return of the fan favorite Zombies game mode. It’s a great mode to play with your friends as it provides a thrilling cooperative experience without any competition. Can You Play Splitscreen Zombies?
Unfortunately, the game mode does not have splitscreen support, and attempting to enter it with a second player plugged in will remove them from the session.
According to the developers, they also do not have any plans to add support for this feature anytime soon, and at the moment, it seems likely that they never will even if the demand for it is truly high.
This is very disappointing for fans of the old Zombies modes, as previous entries to the franchise that had it also supported couch co-op.
In order to play with your friends, you will have to go online with your individual accounts rather than sharing a single device, even though there are other game modes that support splitscreen.
That’s all we know so far about whether or not the Zombies game mode supports splitscreen. Hopefully, the developers add support for it in the future, though don’t hold your breath as this seems to be a concrete decision by them.
