Super Mario RPG Remake is finally out, and it features a new revitalized version of the classic SNES game originally released in 1996. There are various puzzles to go through in the game, and among them is the one in Booster Tower. Here’s a quick guide on how to solve it!
Booster Tower Portrait Puzzle Solution | Chain Chomp Weapon
First, upon your first entry into Booster Tower, you should go ahead and memorize the order of all the portraits hanging from the wall from left to right.
There are six of them in total. If you need help remembering, you can always take a screenshot first or refer to the image below.
We also provided an image which shows the correct sequence for the portraits below.
Next, make your way up the tower, avoiding the enemies as much as possible to save some time.
After ascending the multiple floors full of hostiles, you’ll find another room with the same portraits on the wall.
If you interact with them in the correct order, each portrait should flip around and show the letter “B”. After you correctly flip all of them over, you will be rewarded with the Elder Key.
Next, simply enter the locked door to the left of the portraits in this room and do just a bit of platforming to receive Bowser’s Chain Chomp weapon.
And that’s all you need to know when it comes to solving the Booster Tower portrait puzzle and unlocking the Chain Chomp weapon. There are more puzzles to solve in the game, so you better prepare for more of these!
