MW3: How to Unlock DG-58 Assault Rifle

Unlocking a cool new gun in Call of Duty be it in the campaign or in multiplayer is always fun. This is especially true if it’s a gun you like or are a fan of in real life. In Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3, they’ve changed the way you can unlock guns in multiplayer that might confuse some people. You can’t get all the guns in the game anymore through just leveling.

How to Unlock DG-58 Assault Rifle

The new Call of Duty game, Modern Warfare 3, has a new way of unlocking weapons in multiplayer. Back then, you could unlock all of the weapons just by leveling up, but now you can’t.

You can only get a few weapons through the old method, and the new one is getting weapons and gear in the Armory Unlocks. You can get this ability to unlock gear when you reach level 25, so you can start unlocking early on.

To unlock the DG-58 Assault Rifle you can either go to the Armory Unlocks menu and select it there, or select it through your Loadout. Selecting a weapon will make it the “active” weapon you’re trying to unlock. You’ll then need to complete a number of daily challenges to get the gun.

Contrary to popular belief, you can get more than the 3 daily challenges the game gives you. After finishing the first 3 challenges, a bonus challenge will be unlocked. You can then repeatedly finish this bonus challenge to get as much progress as you want.
