S Tier

Broad Range

The Broad Range increases your hitbox by 1. It is the best approach you can have in the game right now. The secondary traits of this approach are:

  • Light Spiker: Gives you more airtime when jumping in spike mode.
  • Fast Approach: Reduces the amount of time it takes to jump.
  • Athletic: +1 stamina, +0.3 jump power, and decreased jump delay from 0.4s to 0.37s.
  • Flexible Spiker: Your player tilts more than usual on spike (excludes S tilts).
  • Strong Core: Decreases the area of the receiving break surface.

A Tier

Bunnies

The Bunnies Spike Approach increases your jump height by 1. Other traits of this approach are:

  • Fast Approach: Reduces the amount of time it takes to jump.
  • Strong Core: Decreases the area of the receiving break surface.
  • Fast Feet: Increases your base walk speed from 16 to 18.

Strong Arm

This one increases maximum power to 15.5 from 15. The secondary traits are:

  • Block Breaker: Increases the tool speed of a ball hit off the block.
  • Heavy Hitter: Increases headshot and receive break intensity.
  • Strong Core: Decreases the area of the receiving break surface.

B Tier

Flexible Spiker

Your player tilts more than usual on a spike. The secondary traits of this approach are:

  • Heavy Hitter: Increases headshot and receive break intensity.
  • Light Spiker: Gives you more airtime when jumping in spike mode.
  • Flexible Blocker: Your player tilts more than usual on the block.

C Tier

Soft Touch

Although it’s not too bad, other players will be able to tell when you are using Soft Touch once you enter the league. It enables you to feint when hitting a ball tilting back on 3 or less power. This makes it avoidable. The traits of this approach are:

  • Strong Core: Decreases the area of the receiving break surface.
  • Light Spiker: Gives you more airtime when jumping in spike mode.
