There are tons of ways of getting these Lore Points. Some are harder and grinder than others. In this little guide, I shall show you a quick and simple way of getting them very fast. Let’s get started.
For The King: How To Get Lore Points Fast
So you are new to the game, played a couple of rounds, and you notice that your Lore Points are not going up very fast. Well, you can give this a try. Worked for me like a charm.
First Way
Anybody interested in farming for the Lore Store, here’s a method I use that is very effective, but I’ll admit, it is not at all fun.
Go into a game of Gold Rush and you will need to select house rules. Change the gold target to 25g. Select 3 scholars to be played as your characters. Now start the game before moving any characters, sell ALL equipped items from all characters, and pool all the gold to only one of the 3 characters. You can also send an extra teleport scroll from each character, but this is optional.
Now look in the shop with your scholar that has any of these items: Torch, Fishing Hat, Vision Scroll. Buy them (if you still have 25 gold remaining). Equip the torch and fishing hat, and use the vision scrolls immediately to reveal as many hidden hexes as possible.
The next step is sending all three characters out in different directions to search the map as quickly as possible for Lucky’s Vault. You can use focus to sneak past any combat encounters to be able to dodge them. When you locate Lucky’s Vault, teleport the scholar that has 25 gold and you’ll win.
This will gain you 3 Lore, usually in about 3-5 minutes. So you can gain 30-60 lore per hour. Really it is up to you. It will also assist you in unlocking the ability to get Grand Sanctums, and also the bronze, silver, and gold hero statues.
Second Way
For some, this is an even faster way.
Begin a normal FTK campaign game and rush the Chaos Leader Camp which is part of the main questline. If you are on Master Difficulty, you will earn 5 Lore points. Vanquishing the Chaos Leader Camp is the quickest “objective” I’ve found that pays out Lore and it’s fairly simple.
A team of Scholar, Hunter or Trapper, and Gladiator can take down the Chaos Leader Camp with absolute ease! So you can just start a game, trade the Gladiator’s Worn Trident to the Hunter or Trapper… then go kill the camp and get your 5 Lore points. If you want to farm that… just quit the game afterward and start a new game. This might be the easiest way to farm Lore Points.
You can use the Scholar’s Teleport scroll to get to Woodsmoke in the first turn to trigger the Chaos leader camp. Then you just go and kill it.
Third Way
Fairly simple. Just play campaigns on journeyman difficulty or higher. This way you will get tons more Lore Points. Playing on Apprentice level means that the Lore payout is about 60%.
