Tower of God: New World is an idle game regularly updated with new characters every now and then. Because of this, players are probably wondering who they should be saving their resources to pull for, as the character acquisition involves being lucky with the game’s gacha system. In this tier list, we’ll be looking at the best SSR+ units in the game.
SSR+ Tier List (Dec 2023)
As of writing this, there are still only a handful of SSR+ characters in the game, and due to their rarity, it is generally accepted that most of them are great units to have.
With that said, some of them are better than others, so let’s take a look at how the community and hardcore players rank these characters.
Take note that this is purely subjective and that each unit still has niche uses even if they don’t rank as highly as the rest. This list might also not have certain characters due to the lack of testing currently done for them.
SS Tier

S Tier
- [Data] Khun Edahn
- [Lightning Spear] Khun Mascheny
- [Steel Armored] Karaka
B Tier
- [Thorn] Viole – Generally considered mediocre for any kind of content, which places him an extra tier lower than his fellow SSR+ counterparts.
And that concludes this tier list. Although most of them are rated very highly, you have to keep in mind that the game also features a sort of rock-paper-scissors weakness system, and making a balanced team will still be generally better than slapping together all the top tier SSR+ characters.
