In Disney Dreamlight Valley, you will be doing all sorts of quests for your favorite heroes and villains from Disney and Pixar franchises, who are all hanging around in the titular region.
Among these quests is Center of Attention, which you can start upon reaching a certain friendship level with Gaston.
Here is a quick guide on how you can complete it!
Center of Attention Quest Guide
First up, after accepting the quest, go to Gaston’s Lodge. This can be found in the southeastern corner of The Wastes.
Once inside, whip out your shovel and start cleaning up the sand piles scattered all over the floor. After that, interact with the ruined portrait in one corner of the room to fix it.
After talking to Gaston once more, you will be tasked with finding the following gems in order to trade with Scrooge McDuck:
- Alexandrite – Can be mined from rock nodes within The Oasis and The Wastes.
- Jade – Can be mined from rock nodes within The Overlook and The Courtyard.
- Spinel – Can be mined from rock nodes found in The Grove and The Promenade.
Once you have all of the necessary materials, go and find Scrooge McDuck and talk to him. The next step of this quest will have you gathering even more materials to repair Gaston’s lodge.
In addition to the Crate of Gastonian Furniture and Gaston’s Antler Chair that will be provided to you, the following materials must be gathered as well:
- 15 Copper – Can be mined from rock nodes in pretty much any biome within Eternity Isle.
- 10 Oasis Glass – Can be found in The Plains, The Wastes, The Oasis, and The Borderlands.
- 15 Tropical Wood – This can only be gathered within The Grasslands.
After collecting all the necessary materials, return to Gaston and repair the lodge. In your next interaction with Gaston, he will give you the blueprints for the Freezer of Infinite Meat.
In order to build it, you will be tasked with searching for its parts by repeatedly using the Hourglass in the following regions:
- The lower Grasslands
- The upper Grasslands
- The Grove
Once all the parts have been acquired, head to your nearest Timebending Table and craft the Freezer of Infinite Meat, which can be found in the Quest category.
After giving the freezer to Gaston, you will be tasked with reopening his stall inside the desert region (specifically in The Wastes). Simply walk up to it and interact with the Scrooge McDuck sign.
For the next step, he will ask you to cook four meat-based meals of a quality of at least 2 stars or higher. If you need ingredients, the stall you just opened will be selling some meat.
Head to your nearest cooking station and try out some of these recipes:
- Club Sandwich – Wheat, Tomato, Pork, and Poultry.
- Chicken Souvlaki – Poultry, Lemon, Mint, Paprika
- Butter Chicken – Poultry, Tomato, Butter, Lemon, Cumin
- Jerk Chicken – Poultry, Onion, Garlic, and any spice
There is a wide range of other recipes that you can try, so feel free to experiment or go for the ones that you are more familiar with and have the ingredients for.
After giving the meals to Gaston, who will be inside his lodge, your final task will be to mingle with the guests in the building. Simply talk to Rapunzel, Scrooge McDuck, and Remy.
The quest should be completed after talking to each NPC and returning to Gaston. There are many more quests to complete in the game, so keep on exploring and interacting with all of the NPCs around the world!
