Best Stormblade Build Guide & End Game
The Stormblade build is one that revolves around Tempest Mage. Thief, and then Stormblade.
First off, we’re going to show you the skills for Tempest Mage and Thief first, all the skills that help support Stormblade’s DPS.
Followed by stat points, and then Boons and Gears you should wear.
Skill Points
Tempest Mage: Smooth Sailing (important), Invoke Thunder, Shatter, Tempest Aura, and Blizzard.
Thief: Grievous Wounds (important), Tactful Swoop (important), Bloodhunt, and Vindictive Aura.
Stormblade: Cold Blood, The Axel, Electromorphosis (important), and Hyperconductivity
Slot your skill as you see fit, but basically, you want use your Tactful Swoop, or Thief’s dash skill, before following it up with your DPS skill. Tactful Swoop doubles your next skill cast, so have this in mind.
Your main DPS skills in this build are Blizzard and Electromorphosis with Tactful Swoop every time before using a skill.
Always remember to also keep your auras for the damage buff and extra dodge stat. Keeping a consistent rotation with your skills will let you launch consistent damage.
Stat Points
For the stat points, you need to focus on the INT, then DEX, and some STR for survivability. STR may differ depending on how good you are with dodging, as long as you don’t get killed by a single hit.
For endgame, you should have 2:1 for INT and DEX. And then the rest to STR for your survivability. With Grievous Wound, you will be able to leech health by dealing enough damage, which gets better the more Crit you have.
Boons Of The Valkyrie
Thor’s Demesne on Vindictive Aura lowers enemies’ Shock Resistance for your main DPS skills.
The Fimbulwinter on Tactful Swoop adds more Cold Ailment on the enemies, can be subbed for something else. But it adds a little of crowd control ability.
Finally, the Blightbringer on the Electromorphosis summons Surtr, a powerful pyro creature.
Gears
The Archwizard set is an ideal set for Stormblade users. Full set adds damage 24% but on top of that, you can trigger your AoE skills twice.
And on top of that, your Dexterity increases based on Intelligence.
Pets
Pets aren’t absolutely necessary, but they help a lot. EpiGear is a great choice, giving him the Hybrid Stomp and Spirited for extra damage and movement bonus.
