What To Do When You Get To Guiding Lands In Monster Hunter World

Let’s find the best End Game Loot in the game!

This zone is playable and open to you after you complete the Campaign and you defeated the Final Boss. Once you come here, you’re gonna be met with a lot of monsters and tons of grinding that can be done. Let’s see what you can do.

Monster Hunter World – What To Do When You Get To Guiding Lands?

This is a complex Ecosystem that has multiple regions all affecting one another. Basically, if you take all of the maps from the game and put them together into a bigger piece of explorable land, you’ll get Guiding Lands. There is a forestry area linked to a sandy area, which is then connected to a rotten vale only to be neighbored by a coral highlands zone. You will feel like you are on an expedition. Highly entertaining!

After you’re done exploring, let’s get to the good stuff. There are tons of monsters spread across all of this area and unlike the other zones where you do not have a time limit, here you will want to be efficient.

There are tons of monsters here that you can go ahead and hunt. You can go Boss after Boss and again in that cycle. Just sitting roaming around and farming yourself experience or some valuable items. Guiding Lands are sometimes called Grinding Lands because of this very reason.

The bigger purpose and key of this zone is the Endgame Loot. You will get Endgame materials that you cannot get anywhere else in the game. Hunting monsters will also yield with lots of Endgame materials. These materials are essential when it comes to upgrading your weapons to the final stages and getting them perfected.

The leveling system of this entire region is balanced. Once you level up some region over the other, it will become harder and you’re required to go and deal with the other unleveled regions. The loot system works in this way too – it is more challenging and rewarding with each level up.

You can investigate Signs of a turf war. Once you walk up to one to research it, you’ll get an Analysis Progress for different kinds of monsters. You can level up with Analysis after finding the monster, learning its weaknesses, etc. Once it’s maxed out, go to the Handler in the camp and you’ll learn an ability to lure out a monster for you to fight with.

This is extremely good when you’re trying to farm some Monsters for loot. To replenish, you’ll have to find more turfs of war, or simply defeating and killing monsters will do it.

You can find Bonepiles and Mining Outcrops throughout the map. These are also required to level up your area(which in turn will give you better loot). Also, on the map, you can see a progress bar that you can advance by finding these items.

The very important thing to not forget is balancing these areas. Yes, Guiding Lands is a place where you come to fight all sorts of monsters, explore and use the Analysis to fight some specific monsters for extra rare loot, but if you let the leveling go out of control, you’ll be met with extremely difficult enemies which make take you down.

It is also the fastest region for leveling up. There are no cutscenes, you simply go fighting from one monster to the next. This might become your favorite zone just because of how efficient the leveling up progress can be.

There are tons of Reddit groups as well as Discord servers where they farm this map 24/7. Go out and find one and have fun farming!
