A new year has come and like Christmas decorations, there is still the holiday spirit even in January. Peroxide has a new update and with it comes a Christmas event as well as a bunch of content players can try to get.
The update includes the addition of new skins and even accessories you can grind for. There’s a lot in this update so we’ll want to know everything!
In this guide, we’ll show you what they’ve added to the game with the new update for the new year. Now, let’s see what the new content is all about!
Complete Christmas Event & Update Guide (2024)
There’s a new year and of course, we’re going to have a bunch of new updates as well. We got the Fullbringer update last year and now there’s a new one.
The first one for the year adds a Christmas event where you can get a lot of free stuff if you’re willing to grind! There are also a bunch of new items so let’s see what they are!
Content Additions
The update has added a bunch of limited new weapon and skill skins that you can obtain through the new event. Here are all the new additions to the game the update has added:
- 5 New Limited Weapon Skins
- 4 New Limited Skill Skins
- 2 New Godly Accessories
- 6 New Common Limited Accessories
- 1 New Rare Accessory
Most of these new items can be obtained through the gifts that you can open up. To get these gifts, you’ll want to do the Christmas Event and even the new raid that comes with it!
Christmas Event & Raids
When you go into the game and head to the canal area in Kamakura, you’ll find a new island on the lake with some festive decorations.
On that island, you’ll find the new NPC added with the update, and the NPC is called Saint Peroxilas as seen below.
There is also a server-wide event called the Present Rain where presents will rain all around the map. This happens in the 25th and 55th minute of each hour, so make sure to keep that in mind. Get as many presents as you can!
You can talk to him to trade in some presents or do the new raids that came with the update.
Christmas Event Raid
The new raid with this event is a simple one where you and a team of players protect Wise Mystical Tree in the middle of the map.
Waves of enemies will spawn, and you’ll need to defeat them without the tree dying. At the last wave, a Rukia boss will appear, and you’ll need to defeat her to beat the raid.
A bunch of presents will spawn at Wave 5 and even more in Wave 10, so it’s best to farm this as much as you can.
There are 3 tiers of presents where you can turn 10 Green presents into a Blue present and 10 of those can turn into a Red one.
You can then open the presents and have a chance to get free items upon doing so. This includes the new items added in the update.
The color of the presents represents the rarity of items you can get with Green being common, Blue being rare and Red being Legendary or Godly.
Of course, if you’re lucky you can get rare or even legendary or godly items in green presents. It’s up to you if you want to upgrade the presents or just open them!
Here are some great tips for the Christmas Event Raid:
- When presents fall it’s a free-for-all and anyone can pick them up.
- Use the Candy Canes dropped by enemies to heal the Tree and place defenses.
- The Last Boss has a couple of moves that can one-shot you so keep that in mind.
- Remember that items that you get from this event can’t be obtained anymore after the event so it’s good to keep them for trading!
