Itadori Yuji playstyle in Sorcerer Battlegrounds is one of the more complicated ones and this guide aims to explain it. Yuji’s playstyle is flexible which is why it’s a favorite among pro players.
At the same time, it’s also not what new players want to use because you have to constantly change your style.
Complete Yuji Itadori Guide
Yuji Itadori’s four moves are Cranium Impact, Divergent Smash, Black Flash, and Manji Kick. These combos can be chained with each other if you time them corrently along with your dashes.
Cranium Impact
Cranium Impact can be used to grab people who’s just been knocked down. And if you time it when they’d just used their evasive, you can land a second hit when they’re getting up from Cranium Impact.
Great for opening combo.
Divergent Fist
It allows you to dash towards your enemy to land your punch. This is a great move to catch the opponent while they’re getting up. Because of the damage, you can also just randomly catch them off-guard with this skill.
You can also use it as a combo extender, especially if you know how to dash into position after you land this hit. If you land the hit, back dash and then side dash to be where they land to continue your combo.
Black Flash
Black Flash is the ultimate combo extender in the game and for Yuji, it’s great to chain his flexible movesets. Black Flash allows you to stun and break blocks. If you land it right, you’ll even shorten your CD and deal more damage.
First click zooms in the camera, click again as it zooms out to successfully execute Black Flash. Failure to do so, however, will set Black Flash’s CD longer. So make sure to land it!
As you practice you can also choose to do this aerial or on the ground. You can also time it to launch it faster or later. Check out this comprehensive guide on Black Flash to master it!
Manji Kick
Manji Kick is a fast counter move for Yuji that you cannot sleep on. When it close proximity, Manji Kick can confuse people who has to either block or dash instantly.
But because the move is fast, you can immediately follow up with a Black Flash to break the block. Or a Divergent Fist to catch them off-guard.
So, with all that explained, here’s a combo you can try: Black Flash > Divergent Fist > (after dash) Cranium Impact > Black Flash.
Not putting Manji Kick in there allows you to use to escape if you get countered combo’d. Use Manji Kick to reorientate yourself and create an opportunity or distance.
And that’s it for Yuji Itadori guide in Sorcerer Battlegrounds. With Sukuna’s rework update inching close, we can’t wait to see how that’ll change his gameplay!
