Combat Initiation is a Roblox game that lets players fight waves of enemies solo or with a team. If you are alone, you will feel like John Wick as you eliminate every enemy that approaches you.
But if you play as a team, then you will feel like you’re in a team of special operatives that can efficiently take down enemies.
If it’s your first time playing the game, then chances are you will have zero knowledge on how to play the game. In this complete beginner’s guide, I will show you everything you need to know when playing Combat Initiation!
Complete Beginner’s Guide
What is Combat Initiation?
If you are just starting the game, then you may be confused on how things work. The gameplay loop is essentially you being placed on a map where you have to fight waves of enemies continuously.
Either you can play solo or with a group of 6 people (including you) as an entire map will try to overwhelm you and your teammates.
As you fight, you will naturally get hit. Getting hit means you will lose HP and once that reaches zero, you will eventually die and then respawn.
Bear in mind that you only have 3 lives and if all 3 of those lives are used, you will no longer be able to respawn and you will have to watch the other players fight.
How Long Can You Fight?
The game only has 30 waves of enemies to throw at you, so don’t expect an infinite run to see how long you and your group can last.
However, all waves will differ on what kind of enemies will spawn and if it will spawn mini-bosses to help the lesser enemies fight you.
Keep in mind, there are 3 stages you can play in, all with different final bosses at the end of the 30th wave.
As you play through each stage, you will be scored depending on your performance. The more enemies you kill, the higher the score. Bonus points if you get to combo them.
If you get hit or die, then you lose points. It all accumulates at the end of the 30th wave when you defeat the final boss. You will also get a rating depending on your performance, with S being the highest ranking in the game.
Master Your Weapons
When you start a game, you will be greeted with a screen that essentially acts as the shop. In the shop, you will be able to purchase several different weapons, items, and upgrades that will help you in your fight in the game.
Regarding weapons, you can only carry 2 with you, with 1 Primary Weapon and 1 Secondary Weapon.
Here are the weapons you can find in the game:
- Primary Weapons
- Sword
- Paintball Gun
- Superball
- Slingshot
- Secondary Weapons
- Trowel
- Time Bomb
- Rocket Launcher
As you progress through the waves, you will eventually reach an Intermission. This will allow you to open up the shop once again and swap out your weapons to whatever you want to use next, as well as purchase some items and upgrades to aid you in your fight.
Bear in mind that you cannot open the shop at any other point except during Intermissions, so make sure to really stock up and get everything you want when you get the opportunity arises.
