Soul Knight Prequel is a fun, roguelike mobile game that is, as the name suggests, a prequel to Soul Knight. Soul Knight Prequel is receiving lots of new updates to add more content to the game so players can enjoy the game more.

Just recently, they released a new update that adds a brand new class called the Herbalist. While an Herbalist may not be that threatening, Soul Knight Prequel has ways to make it a beast in a fight. In this guide, I will show you a preview of Herbalists’ skill set and other mechanisms in the game.

Herbalist Skill Set Preview & Mechanism

After some leaks about the game that showed the possible new classes, we now have our official first look at the Season 1 class: Herbalist. This class can only be obtained through the Eastern Season Battle pass. Once unlocked, you will be able to use the Herbalist to play with as a class.

The Herbalist class specializes in using poison to cause continuous damage to anyone that gets hit with it. From that alone, we can already tell that the Herbalist will be a great class to use when fighting hordes of enemies.

Skills

Like most classes in the game, there will be several skills to use. There are also two different types of skills: Passive Skills and Active Skills. Here are the different Passive Skills and Active Skills for Herbalist:

  • Passive Skills
    • Poison Mastery
      • Increase the damage of “Poison Ailment” and increase the maximum number of stacks (up to 5 times).
    • Potion Mastery
      • After drinking the potion, you will randomly receive a level of buff. You will not be able to obtain another buff before the buff expires.
        • Poison Mastery can not only create “Poison Ailment” damage and increase the number of stacks, but also cause percentage damage based on the target’s maximum health, highlighting an “Chronic Poisoning/Corrosion” effect. In addition, when he drinks the potion, he can trigger Potion Mastery to gain attribute bonuses. Three levels of buff appear randomly and the buff percentages are divided by level.
  • Active Skills
    • Throwing Poison Bottle
      • Throws a poison bottle at the targeted monster, causing a small area of “SLOW” and additional Poison Damage.
      Flying Leaf Blade
      • Summons hovering leaves, which attack the monster after a short delay; at the same time, it triggers “Poison Ailment” damage on the monster.
      Replenishment
      • Consume MANA to replenish the number of uses of charging skills and potions for yourself and surrounding allies.
    • Poisonous Cloud
      • Generates poisonous clouds, causing monsters to acquire “Poison Ailment”, and the abnormal status damage they receive continues to increase.

He's also a huge fan of superhero media like Marvel and DC, so he's practically played games like Spider-Man and the Batman Arkham games. He's also into multiplayer games that strike his fancy, specifically games like Call of Duty and Fortnite. Most especially Fortnite since he can play as different Marvel and DC characters in a battle royale against other famous and iconic characters.
