What’s a Lucky Block?
In Pet Sim 99, Lucky Blocks are items that drop extremely good items like potions, books, chests, and enchants. Players have even reported getting Exotic enchants that would usually cost 500K just from a Lucky Box.
That being said, Lucky Boxes are a great way to farm goodies without spending as much. Of course, these boxes rely on RNG and are a bit of a gamble, but hey, the RNG gods always pull through, right?
How to Get Lucky Blocks in Update 5?
You can take part in the Lucky Block Area mini-event during Update 5. You can earn up to 200K diamonds per run in this area, so don’t miss out on this game event!
Lucky Block Area Event
The Lucky Box Area is a mini event where you progress towards the Big Black Lucky Block. To progress towards this grand prize, there will be a board that indicates what color of Lucky Blocks and how many you need to break.
The black Lucky Block is the ultimate prize of this mini-event. You want to get because this is where you’re going to get most of your drops, and you’ll have 15 minutes to destroy as many Lucky Blocks as you can.
How to Farm Diamonds
Each different colored block will have a different corresponding value. It’s recommended to go for the pink blocks because they give a hundred points, and a chance to drop diamonds.
Pets & Movement
A good tip is to turn off the “Pets Follow Taps” option in the settings. It’s easier to grind boxes when you let your pets roam freely in this area.
Tap all the pink boxes while your pets go ahead and destroy all the smaller ones around you. Walk in a circular formation in this area so your pets can get a lot of blocks. This is the best way to maximize your surface area for destroying all the lucky blocks as fast as possible.

Before starting this area, eat as much fruit as you have and also use Squeaky Toys to maximize your grinding potential.
Equip these enchants for your gear loadout:
- 2x Critical VI books
- 2x Diamond VI books
- Fortune
- 2 Treasure VIs
- Any tier will do as long as they increase the probability of drops.
- Most of the diamonds you get are going to come from drops.
You’re free to change this loadout according to what you need. What’s important is that you think you’re doing enough damage to the blocks.

Best Timing for Diamond Grinding
Once you get the black Lucky Block, don’t destroy it yet! Let it sit on the map area and keep destroying blocks until the time is over.
There is a four-big black lucky box limit so you can only destroy four and it will end your timer. So what you want to do is maximize your time to destroy the other blocks for diamonds.
Keep the black blocks close to each other so that your pets don’t start breaking them. If they start doing this, this will slow down your rate of breaking the other smaller blocks.
If a black box ends up dropping away from the rest, just destroy it. Ultimately, what you want is to have enough time to destroy three black blocks first, and leave one on the field.
By this time, you’ve destroyed enough black blocks to know how much time it will take to destroy the final fourth one. Make sure you stay aware of how much time you have left and keep destroying the smaller lucky blocks – doing this will give you enough time to destroy the last black block before your 15 minutes are up.
By giving yourself the maximum amount of time to farm diamonds, you can get up to 200K diamonds from grinding this Lucky Block area. Not to mention the huge prizes that you can get from destroying the black Lucky Blocks, there’s no shortage of rewards you can claim from this area.
