What makes units in Anime Last Stand perform so differently are the trait and technique that you rolled them on. Not to mention how the new Skill Tree mechanic added will change a lot of how these traits scale with that. And different types of units will benefit from different types of traits. We’re going to rate and talk about the techniques to help you judge whether you should reroll or not!
Best Trait & Technique Tier List
Traits, also known as Techniques, have been rebalanced recently in Anime Last Stand. Added to that is the variety that Skill Tree gives to every unit. Depending on which skill tree and unit you’re using these traits on, some ranks can be arguably switched by 1 or 2 positions.
Let’s talk about all the traits in the game right now.
S-Tier
- Glitched (2 Placement Limit): +350% Damage, -12.5% SPA, +35% Range, +65% Money, +35% Crit Chance, +150% Crit Damage, 7x DOT Damage. Glitched has received quite the buff now, a great all-rounder trait that even give extra money.
- Avatar (1 Placement Limit): +350% Damage, +10% Range, -15% SPA, 4x DOT Damage. This is a very strong trait, designed for DOT units. It only has 1 placement, so make sure it’s a unit that’s worth it.
- Overlord (1 Placement Limit): +375% Damage, +5% Range, -15% SPA. Very powerful, but you can only place one of these. However, there’s a damage cap, so you’ll have to adjust your Skill Tree to make the best out of your unit.
- All Seeing: +75% Range, +30% Crit Chance, +100% Crit Damage. A powerful trait great for support or units with a lot of placements.
- Shinigami: +60% Damage, +10% Range, -10% SPA. A good trait for units with a lot of placements.
A-Tier
- Entrepreneur: +25% Damage, +45% Money, +5% Range, -10% SPA. It has a little bit of everything in between, great for farm units to give them a little extra damage.
- Cosmic: +15% Damage, +10% Range, -15% SPA. Really good. You don’t have to reroll this one especially if you have other units that need better traits.
- Demi God: +25% Damage, -5% SPA. Straightforward DPS trait on par with the Cosmic.
- Vulture: +15% Range, +5% Crit Chance, +5% Crit Damage. Very good. This is already a solid roll for your DPS units.
B-Tier
- Juggernaut: +12.5% Damage, -2.5% SPA. It has a small SPA reduce but with decent damage buff, on par with the Hyper Speed depending on your Skill Tree and unit’s SPA.
- Hyper Speed: -12.5% SPA. Above the 10% number is where you start looking at this trait. This is worth rerolling most of the time, especially for your units with really high SPA.
- Eagle Eye: +15% Range. Very good for support units and units with multiple placements as well.
- Diamond: +5% Damage, +20% Money. An even better trait for farms.
- Elemental Master: +5% Damage, 2.5x DOT Duration, .75x DOT Damage. Longer DOT duration, but at the expense of lower DOT damage.
C-Tier
- Golden: +12.5% Money. It’s better than Shining for sure, but not worth rerolling for.
- Sturdy 3: +10% Damage. Decent for most of your units, especially DPS.
- Scoped 3: +10% Range. Okay-ish for your support characters.
- Accelerate 3: -8% SPA. Not good enough.
- Shining: +10% Money. Not bad, especially for early play farm units.
- Sturdy 2: +8% Damage. A nice small damage increase.
- Scoped 2: +8% Range. Slightly better and again, better for the support.
D-Tier
- Accelerate 2: -5% SPA. For the upper version of Accelerate, it’s still negligible.
- Sturdy 1: +5% Damage. Is always better for most units except support to get the extra damage.
- Scoped 1: +5% Range. For support unit, it can help with the range a little bit.
- Accelerate 1: -3% SPA. Barely negligible.
