One of the problems many people tend to encounter in games with base building elements is the fact that sometimes, you just want to move things around or do a complete makeover of the place. Lightyear Frontier is no different, but fortunately, there is a way around this issue. Here is a quick guide on how to move or remove your structures!
How to Move & Remove Structures
First things first, there isn’t actually any way to move structures around once they’ve been placed in the current version of the game. However, you can freely remove and re-place them in different spots any time you want.
To do this, approach any structure in your base and simply press the B button to bring up the build interface. Next, open Recycling Mode by pressing the H button (or whichever button it shows if you’re not using a keyboard).
Once Recycling Mode is active, just click on the Recycle button while looking at your structure of choice and all of the resources that were used to build it should drop on the ground. Just walk over the pile to pick it all up.
After that, all you have to do now is open the building menu once more and construct the exact same structure in a new spot in your base.
The materials are all fully refunded whenever you recycle something, so you can do this as many times as you desire. Hopefully, the developers just add an option to move stuff around, but for now, this will suffice.
