The new DLC is finally upon this bringing with it a lot of new enemy NPCs that will destroy your days and anger you. There are a couple of new bosses as well. Here we will be talking about the Bootlegger Boogie.

Bootlegger Boogie Boss Fight Guide – Cuphead The Delicious Last Course DLC

Your first enemy here will be the spider. He is very difficult to shoot at because of his unpredictability. This enemy will keep moving left to right, right to left, up and down. He will be moving usually in this pattern, and after a while, you’ll learn it and know where to expect him.

Every once in a while he will simply stop moving and talk on the phone. This is your chance to make a big damage to him. Usually, he does this on the first level.

Another thing while in the beginning stages of this fight are all the NPCs that will be flying and coming in your way. It wouldn’t be Cuphead without them after all. You will see a plethora of police officer ants shooting at you, insects crawling, and the most difficult ones are the bees that kinda can be seen from the background, but they merge into the stage and can damage you.

Careful of those crosses on the strings attached as well. If you touch them they’ll explode and damage you. Be wary of the bouncing balls

The key here is to stay at the lowest level and keep shooting up and sideways towards the spider. You can dodge everything much easier while on this level.

After you beat the spider, a music player will be in the middle with a dancing ant next to it. Your next target is her. You will need to damage her while dodging everything from before.

Careful from the zaps that circle around the entire map. Sometimes if they’re moving they will do damage to you.

For this one, you’ll mostly stick on the middle level right or left from the dancing lady. Keep shooting towards her, and when you need, make a run for it.

Once she falls down, after you’ve dealt a significant amount of damage to her, starts the real fun and hard part. The Bootlegger Boogie himself will emerge out of nowhere and bust open the middle of the map. You will be fighting against a giant boss now.

He will strike from the sides with his nose. Extending his tongue to get you and shooting projectiles your way. You will need to focus on the Snail that is under his hat. Every once in a while he’ll take off his hat and you’ll need to directly damage him. Keep shooting at his nose too.

It will be tricky to do, but the key is to stay at the lowest level, dodge all his attacks, and keep shooting at him. Then after a while, you’ll achieve a Knockout!

Now you’re at the last stage of the fight, where you’ll be fighting the Snail. He is very simple but very annoying. He has the same rhythm of shooting and very low hp. So just time it right and he’ll go down in no time.

Congratulations on defeating yet another boss. I hope this guide was of some help.
