If you’re planning on getting a great time on Silverstone, you have to understand that it’s not how fast you can go, it’s how you can turn smoothly in corners. In racing, corners will slow you down hard, so you have to know when to slow down and turn those corners. If you don’t, you’re more likely to go off the track or crash into a wall.
Trying to hit these corners is tough, especially in a Formula One car. These bad boys are designed with speed in mind and maneuverability pretty much 3rd or 4th down the list. While it’s not impossible to fully drive an F1 car around a corner, trying to do it efficiently in order to not lose time is another story.
