Getting your monsters trained and being effective can be a very tough thing to do at times in Rune Factory 5. There are plenty of things to think of when it comes to this. This Monster Training guide will show you the way how you can look out for their EVs as well as Happiness.
Monster Training Guide | EVs/Item Feeding/Happiness Bonus – Rune Factory 5
Monsters you defeat award EV Points. For instance, a Wooly will increase your monster’s HP just by a 1 EV Point.
You have a total number of 510 EVs. Each stat has a maximum number of 225. For instance, you can put 255 points in 2 stats to max some other 2 stats out. That’s a total of 510 EVs.
Some Monsters do award more than 1EV when defeated so you won’t need to simply hold on to that 510 number of defeated enemies. Which is very nice. This EV system bu the way has been used by the Pokemon games as system for a very long time.
