In TYPE://SOUL, Quincies are one of the three playable races alongside Shinigamis and Hollows. But unlike the other two, Quincies bring a unique, ranged-first, tech-heavy playstyle with a strong focus on positioning, pressure, and passive value. Whether you’re sniping from afar or diving into a fight with a giant spirit arm, Quincy kits reward precision and creativity more than brute force. From lifesteal builds and shadow clones to mind-breaking aura stuns, Quincies offer some of the wildest Schrift passives and Volstanding upgrades in the game. This guide will cover everything!
All Volstanding Guide & Showcase
Think of Schrifts as your Quincy’s unique identity, their version of a Shikai or Resurrección. You start with just two core moves, but don’t let that fool you. Schrifts aren’t just flashy attacks; they’re loaded with passives, support effects, and synergy with your Blut and Kido trees.
Once you unlock Vollstandig (the real deal transformation), everything changes:
- Your Schrift gains visual upgrades, unique weapons, and bonus passives
- Some add revives, AOE bursts, status prisons, or lifesteal zones
- Others boost team utility or punish specific enemy types
And because Quincies don’t get a 3rd move like other races, your Kido tree + Schrift synergy becomes your main edge. Nail that synergy, and you become a raid-carrying, 1vX-dodging menace.

The Almighty (Mythic)
Still unobtainable as of now, but widely anticipated to be the most broken Schrift in the game once released. Its rarity alone places it at the top, and expectations suggest it will come with overwhelming power. A true endgame Schrift that will likely redefine the meta when it finally drops.

Nimble (Mythic)
Nimble is one of the best Schrifts in the game right now. The T move grants three auto-dodges for five seconds, creating a huge pressure window. The G move is a rapid dash strike with multiple hits and hard-to-time parries. Each dodge boosts your speed, making this Schrift incredible for mobility-based builds. Dominant in both 1v1s and group fights.
Overkill (Mythic)
Overkill is a passive Schrift that sacrifices active moves for raw stats. You gain up to 35% bonus damage, 20% defense, and other boosts based on the number of players you’ve gripped. Players can reroll stats in their T and G slots until they hit optimal combinations. Overkill is oppressive, especially on tanky builds — a top-tier choice for consistent domination.
Deathdealing (Mythic)
Death Dealing excels in pressure and lethality. The T move fires a tracking ball that’s hard to counter, while the G move creates a field that disables movement tech. Its power lies in stacking lethal hits and controlling enemy space. It’s viable on nearly every build type.

Balance (Mythic)
Previously top-tier, Balance has seen some nerfs but remains a strong pick. It specializes in healing and buffs that scale with your HP thresholds. Using Order stacks, it can heal a significant portion of your health — but timing is key, since getting interrupted can ruin its value. Balance is still flexible and works well across Kendo, Speed, and Kido builds, offering clutch support in group fights.
Z – Equilibrium
A great skill that buffs damage, defense, and speed for allies above 50% HP or heals allies below 50% HP. When healing it also replenishes Reiatsu.

X – Fortune’s Greed
This skill is somewhat of a gamble because it takes the average HP of all your allies and everything else in the area. The side with more HP will get damaged and the side with less HP will get healed.

C – Misfortune Redirection
This move is the only counter of the set and it has a low cooldown. This skill doesn’t depend on any of your Orders but it might be changed in the future by the developers.

Butterfly (Legendary)
Butterfly is an underdog Schrift with surprising combo depth. The T move deals AoE posture damage and ragdolls, while the G move launches with strong air combo potential. It’s fast, sometimes frame-1, and effective across Speed, Kendo, and Hakka builds.

Explode (Legendary)
Explode is all about launching enemies and cashing out damage. The T move causes a jumping explosion that guard breaks, while the G move sends enemies airborne for combo extensions. Great synergy with float-based kits and strong execution tools.

Zombie (Legendary)
Zombie features a unique blood meter and lets you summon a high-HP clone after getting a grip. The T and G moves are both solid for building meter, and the G move counter is versatile. Despite some nerfs, it’s still strong and unique among Schrifts.

Royal (Legendary)
Royal has hyper armor on both T and G moves, but the animations are painfully slow. The startup and end lag make it near useless in serious PVP. Its team support mechanic isn’t functional and is considered the weakest Schrift overall. Avoid this one.

X-Axis (Legendary)
X-Axis tries to play as a sniper Schrift but suffers from clunky animations and impractical damage windows. The shot takes too long to fire, making it unreliable in actual combat. It’s simply not worth picking over other options.

Superstar (Legendary)
Superstar shines with flashy burst damage, movement buffs, and the ability to summon an ally for a revive. Recent buffs improved its responsiveness and added a new passive that grants a 2% boost to damage, defense, and healing every time you land a shift move. This makes Superstar a strong contender in fast-paced 1v1s and Hakka builds where air control is critical.
Z – Super Flash Nova
When you use this move you jump up and create a massive star-shaped blast that hits anything below. This can deal knockback and also cause a lot of damage! This move can auto-execute.

X – Super Fan
This move summons a fan named James that can revive you just as long you’re in Vollständig, and as long as he’s alive. It also gives you a defense and damage buff.

C – Star Lariat
This move teleports to the fan, grabs a target, teleports them away, and then punches them sending them flying even further away.

Miracle (Legendary)
Miracle thrives in long, sustained fights. It provides multiple revives as long as your Volt meter is charged and delivers wide AOE attacks with added debuffs. Its Volstanding is great in raid scenarios or drawn-out engagements, but setup can be inconsistent, which holds it back slightly. It’s still quite viable if played strategically.
Vollständig Passive – Dealing damage with Volt/Schrift moves regenerates your Volt Bar.
Z – Divine Shot
This is a move where you teleport up and shoot down arrows of light that can hit targets below. It also debuffs targets hit by the attack making them take more damage from Miracle moves.

X – Divine Presence
This is an AOE move where it spawns shockwaves of light around you granting you a short duration of hyper-armor. It also deals with knockback and ragdoll enemies caught in the blast.

C – God’s Authority
One of the flashier moves where you summon the hand of God to slam down the area dealing massive damage and stunning enemies.

Glutton (Legendary)
Glutton rewards calculated aggression. It offers a passive that restores HP and Volt on grips, along with a poison-like DOT effect that damages enemies over time. The G move is a lunge that deals posture damage or guard breaks, while the T move is a projectile that heals and applies damage. Glutton is most effective in solo or duel setups and synergizes well with Hakka.
T – Maw
With this move, you shoot out a projectile that if it hits an enemy deals damage over time. It also heals you for a small amount of health.

G – Devour
This move lets you do a short-range attack where you take a big bite out of your opponent. This will knock back and ragdoll an enemy when hit as well as heal you.

Z – Splife
You slash forward and spin your weapon around damaging anyone caught in the area. This move also pulls enemies towards you making it easier to land hits.

X – Spork
You jump backward dropping an explosive trap that deals damage over time as well as heals you when it hits.

C – Golden Crunch
You stomp your feet summoning a massive trap in front of you that knockbacks enemies away from the blast. You can activate the trap using Devour.

Visionary (Legendary)
Once a powerhouse, Visionary has seen significant nerfs. It still features creative mechanics like clones, portals, and prisons, with combo chains tied to your Imagination stacks. However, the moves are now easier to parry, and the G move can whiff up close. While it rewards skillful play, it’s no longer as dominant.
Z – Thinking
You summon a clone that gives you Imagination stacks every second. The clone can be attacked and defeated, stopping the bonus.

X – Water Prison
You summon a cube of water in front of you that immobilizes anyone inside for a short duration. Great when doing crowd control or getting some breathing room from enemy attacks.

C – Spatial Teleportation
You create a portal where you jump in and teleport behind the enemy target, you then attack them. The attack ragdolls the enemy when it hits.

Thunderbolt (Rare)
Thunderbolt is built for neutral control and zoning. The T move tethers opponents and disables flash steps, while the G move ragdolls enemies into follow-ups. The T move is hard to land, but extremely punishing when it does. It’s a solid pick against mobility-heavy opponents and excels in punishing reckless movement.
Vollständig Passive – Thunderbolt gives you a new weapon in Volt that looks like two lightning bolts.
Z – Thunder Javelin
You jump up and throw a lightning bolt on the ground pulling enemies in. If an enemy is hit with this move it can break guard and it also disables their flashstep.

X – Thundering Pulse
This move makes you throw a lightning bolt that explodes in multiple pulses stunning anyone hit by it. This move also disables flashstep.

C – Chain Reaction
You teleport to everyone in an area hitting them and causing their flashstep to be disabled. Don’t worry, it doesn’t affect party members.

Compulsory (Rare)
Compulsory uses stone hands to grab and displace enemies. The T move has improved in speed and range, but the G move still lacks reliability in follow-ups. It can push enemies out of position and into punishes, but its inconsistency makes it difficult to recommend unless you’ve mastered its setups.
Z – Execution
This is an AOE move where you grab enemies around you and slam them on the ground repeatedly.

X – Inorganic Control
This move lets you summon two stone hands that crush the enemy, it also stuns them for a short period.

C – World Hand
With this skill, you summon a stone hand in front of you and push it away. Enemies hit will be pushed away from you giving you room to move.

Power (Rare)
Power is a straightforward brawler Schrift that brings raw damage and crowd control. The T move ragdolls opponents, while the G move has hyper armor and breaks guards. It’s great for players who want a simple, effective option for combos and pressure. Very strong in general-purpose builds.
Z – Ground Flip
With this move you slam the ground sending your target flying up, you then teleport up as well. Remember to continue the combo while you’re in the air!

X – Dumbbell Enlargement
When you use this skill you jump up and summon a giant pink Dumbbell, you then throw it at an enemy dealing a lot of damage.

C – Power Barrage
You grab a target and do a series of quick punches that end with a strong punch that pushes them away.

Fear (Rare)
Fear utilizes aura-based passives to disrupt enemies. While its presence can pressure over-committing foes, the T move is too telegraphed and easy to block. The G move does decent posture damage but lacks a guard break. It has niche uses but is overshadowed by more reliable Schrifts.
Vollständig Passive: Mindbreak – Enemies around you will periodically clutch their heads and be stunned.
Z – Nightmare
An active version of your passive ability where you summon a bunch of eyes around you. Anyone hit by the ability will be stunned for a few seconds.

X – Gaze
This skill only works when a target is under the “Mindbreak” stun. You teleport towards them, grab them, and damage them before throwing them away as they ragdoll.

C – Thorns
Much like the Impale skill you summon more thorns that fly towards enemies. You can aim for this skill with your cursor.

Heat (Common)
Don’t let the rarity fool you — Heat can be devastating. It boasts excellent posture damage, long-range burn effects, and a powerful 360-degree G move. The T move causes kneel at max range for easy combos. Works well on Kendo and Speed, and can surprise opponents with its reach.
X – Full Burner Finger
This is a long-range move that can execute knocked players. You shoot out a cylinder of fire in front of you.

Z – Burner Finger
This movie has a lot of variants. One variant is a ranged move that deals damage and burns enemies. Another variant is your character rushing and hitting a target. The next variant is an AOE where you spawn a fire tornado in front of you. Finally, the last variant is like Burn Blade but with a shorter range.

C – Burning Stomp
As the name implies, you stomp the ground with a fiery explosion. This move can auto-execute knocked players.

Wind (Common)
Wind is highly disruptive, focusing on ragdolls and fast follow-ups. The T and G moves both stun and allow for aerial or grounded extensions. This Schrift is best used on Kendo or Speed builds and has amazing combo synergy. It’s one of the strongest commons due to its flexibility.
Z – Cripple
You target one enemy and ragdoll them on the spot, great for starting combos or stopping enemies.

X – Twist
You create a large AOE where it ragdolls targets, it can affect multiple enemies. It also has a long range and can be aimed with your mouse pointer.
Alt Text: Type Soul Wind X Move

C – Split
You slice an enemy in front of you in half, it has a cool animation where the enemy is sliced from the torso. It stuns the target and you can attack them while they’re stunned.

Iron (Common)
Iron plays like a reactive zoner. The G move extends combos well and can transition into floating or rising. However, the T move suffers from end lag and can be punished if mistimed. It’s a solid pick for defensive players who want to bait and punish.
Z – She-Jin-Zhao
You summon a blue ball that shoots forward in a line, the projectile guard-break, and has unlimited range.

X – Crushing Fang
This move is a jump attack where you lunge at an enemy with your weapon. When it hits it creates a shockwave. When lunging you have some control of where to go.

C – Indestructible
This is a counter move that has a small windup. The move lasts 2 seconds and when attacked you automatically teleport on top of the enemy and attack back.

Wrap-Up
Vollstandig in TYPE://SOUL isn’t just a power-up, it redefines your playstyle. Even Common or Rare Schrifts like Heat, Wind, and Power can outperform higher-rarity options when paired with the right build. Know when to pick Blut Vene for tanking or Blut Arterie for offensive pressure. Master the Quincy Kido tree to chain teleports and combos. And don’t sleep on Letzt Stil, with a True Hogyoku, it evolves into a powerful mode with new passives and visuals.
