As per the game’s title, Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes features over 100 characters that you can recruit to your team. They all offer different ways of recruitment, themes, personality, abilities and more! Now, if you’re looking to spice things up, Kurtz might just be your guy. He’s a “Cool, Competent Cook” and if you’re interested in making him join your ranks, I’m here to help you out with this detailed guide!
How To Recruit Kurtz
First up, you’ll have to meet and talk to Kurtz in Hishahn. After conversating with the guy, he’ll then ask you to grab the “Grilled Tutuva Recipe.” For his exact location in the city, you can refer to the image below, fam.

After a series of dialogue, you should then make your way the The Treefolk Village to get the “Grilled Tutuva Recipe.” Refer to the image below for the right location.
NOTE: Keep in mind that you must first talk to Kurtz before proceeding to the next step. Otherwise, you won’t be able to get the Grilled Tutuva Recipe.
Once you get to the location, you’ll then have to talk to the Treefolk NPC shown in the image below. After a dialogue, it’ll give you the “Grilled Tutuva Recipe.”
After that, it’s a matter of returning to Kurtz and giving him the recipe you spent minutes fetching for. As a token of gratitude, he’ll join your party! Well done, my guy (Pun intended).
