Destiny 2 has a plethora of weapons that differ from each other so very much making it seem like you’re in a completely different game at times. In this guide, we will take the case of the Hollow Denial and reveal to you what is it best for and how you can get it. Let’s get started.
How To Get Hollow Denial Legendary Trace Rifle Plus God Roll Guide – Destiny 2
The Hollow Denial rifle is one of the few legendary trace rifles in the game that will make you feel like a fire god. If you feel like running around and burning everything in your path with a freaking laser, this one could be the gun for you!
It is a legendary trace rifle with an adaptive frame meaning that it’s got a well-rounded grip and is very reliable and sturdy in almost every situation you might find yourself in. It has:
- 6 – Impact
- 66 – Range
- 76 – Stability
- 55 – Handling
- 46 – Reload
- 1000 – Rounds Per Minute
- 96 rounds in 1 magazine
This is an amazing weapon for the PvE situations and it’s got some very good traits to be as a plus for the damage and stats making it stand out for fighting lots of enemies at a time.
In a PvP world though it is going to be more of a tricky weapon to use. You will likely be outgunned very quickly by your opponents if you take this into the crucible.
There are loads of great options for perks pickings for the barrel and battery selection. For PvP you can maybe take one of these:
- Particle Repeater
- Projection Fuse
- Tactical Battery
- Rangefinder – this is good for long range situations as it increases the zoom magnification
- Dragonfly – the precision kills will create an elemental damage explosion
For the PvE role stick with these:
- All of those that are included in the PvP section and plus
- Light Battery
- Enhanced Battery
- Adaptive Munitions – this is very handy. The weapon will adapt its damage output and effectiveness against energy shields that don’t match the weapons damage type
- Killing Tally – is also something that you want to be using. It will increase the weapon damage until it is stowed or reloaded
Trace Rifle – How to Get It?
You will have to run the nightmare containment activity on the Derelict Leviathan and complete Tier 3 of the activity. Behind the chest that you’ll see at the end is the nightmare harvester and if you interact with that you’ll get the seasonal loot while trading in 500 for stages of dread.
You can also focus on broad engrams at the crown sorrow to get Hollow Denial. Once you’ve got 5 red-boarded versions of the weapon you can craft it on Mars.
Well, that should be it. You shouldn’t be having issues getting this rifle but once you do, you’ll fall in love with it. Have fun and good luck!
