How To Change Runes in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes

Recruit more than a hundred heroes on your team in this new JRPG game called Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes where you embark on quests, gather resources, build your town and fight enemies together. Runes can be really helpful to give your characters an edge in combat so let’s look at how you can modify them in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes.

How To Change Runes in Eiyuden Chronicle

Playable characters get to begin with at least one run slot until they eventually unlock more. When you put in a run into a slot, this may increase strength, skills, strength, magic ability, dexterity or unique abilities, depending on the type of run you choose to insert. 

You can find Runes stores anywhere from most villages, to town to cities where your party can purchase new Runes and modify their current build.

If you want to change Runes and Gear, there are two ways you can do that. 

1. The first way is through the Item Warehouse at the Hero’s Den in Eltisweis.
2. The second way is through the Rune Store

The Item Warehouse

When you’re at the item warehouse, keep heading left and right at the end of the lobby, you’ll speak to two NPCs standing behind the desk. 

Talk to the lady. Her name is Sumire and she’ll let you access your stored items or add more items to your storage. Currently we don’t need to do either of those.

The 3rd option will say “Gear Prep” Click on that. After that, you should get the option to switch gear or change runes. Click “Change Runes”

On the next window, choose the character who you want the rune updated for. 

Here, you’ll be able to add/remove runes as you please.

 If there’s an empty slot, click on it and add a rune there with the skill you want on that character.

The Rune Store 

The item warehouse will do just the job of changing your runes. But in case you’d like to know what other location allows you to change runes for informative purposes (or might even come in handy to simply buy a rune), I’ll show you where to go. 

Let’s see the closest Rune Store to this item warehouse. When you exit the Item Warehouse, just head left and down. Walk down two flights of stairs.

When you reach the bottom and a little bit ahead, there’s a road with stores on the right side.

It is the first store to the right.

So now, all you have to do is enter the shop. Click on the shopkeeper standing straight ahead behind the desk and click change runes. 

To switch runes, follow all the steps mentioned in the first method to change runee.It’s simple, just choose your character and toggle the runes until you’re satisfied with the stats.
