The Zweihander is an iconic weapon in the souls-like community. It’s been in every Dark Souls game and is most known from the Giant Dad meme and build in the form of the Chaos Zweihander. Of course, such an iconic weapon should also be Elden Ring, it’s only natural to be there.
How To Get Zweihander In Elden Ring | Location Guide
Before you go out there and get that Zweihander you should first get your stats up. The weapon requires 19 STR and 11 DEX. So, you better start farming for those runes, it’s not a very high requirement, but it does scale with both stats, so the higher the better. The location of this awesome weapon isn’t that far. Actually, you can probably get it in the first couple of hours in the game. From your second site of grace in Limgrave follow the path below:
At the end of the red line is a site of grace with a merchant nearby. Look north and you’ll see a path going to the western parts of the area:
If you don’t see this part of the map, go south from the merchant, past the destroyed section of a wall and you should see a place to update your map. And a giant shooting giant arrows at you. Once you’ve followed the path westwards you should get to a great open field, if you see the giant turtle monster with a bell and a building on top of it, you’re on the right track. Just continue past the enemies till you get to the westernmost part of the area.
There you should see a shack and a site of Grace called the Isolated Merchant’s shack. Congratulations you found the Merchant selling the Zweihander! Now cough up 3,500 runes.
