Genshin Impact: Save Leon Guide

Talking stone birds should be the least surprising thing in the world of Teyvat, but somehow this one stands out from its other stone brethren not because of its hat, but because of how annoying he can become. In this guide, we’ll show you how to save Leon, the stone bird a grand total of 3 times, quite a traveled fellow for a rock.

In the quest, you’re tasked with saving this poor stone bird from the cellar first. Using the Gaze of the Deep Devices you’ll use them to make a path for this stone bird. The first one is easy, just line up the block to look like it’s roughly the same size below.

First Puzzle

Now move to the next device left of the one you just used and make another platform for him.

Next device, again, is to the left of the one you just used. Same deal, different block.

Once he goes through that he should go to an elevator block which lifts him up to your level. A short cutscene will play with him thanking you and giving you a password, you’ll need it later in the quest.

Second Puzzle

Next time you find him he’ll be stuck somewhere again and he needs your help to get out. The difference here is that you’ll use the floating objects to obstruct the view of the devices so they can repair the path, just like the many devices in the mirage.

The first one you’ll use is to the far right of the ladder you drop down from. Use the device and make sure an object obstructs the view of the gap.

Now go to the device left of the one you just used for the next part. This time using a wooden lectern to block the view.

Now the next device is to the front of the one you used. So just go around until you go there and use it next. Wooden cabinets are the next item we’ll be using to block the view here.

Once you’ve done that, the stone bird should go to the level above the devices. Talk to him to continue the quest.

Third Puzzle

Puzzle number three is by far the most complex out of all the puzzles here and requires a bit more effort. First, you need to jump down to this device and use that one.

By far the most finicky of the devices to set up, do your best to align it with the slot at the back. I suggest moving the device’s sight around and messing with the zoom levels until you get it.
