The Night Raven Boss isn’t exactly your usual boss, and it isn’t really a boss fight. Regardless, it’s a fun little flight quest.

Night Raven Boss Nightwatch Contract – Genshin Impact

First off, you’re gonna wanna get to one of the smaller isles of the Golden Apple Archipelago. You can do this by jumping to it from the castle and gliding all the way down there. Here, you will meet a Night Raven Boss.

For orientation purposes, here’s a point of view from the island where the quest is, looking at the castle.

You will need to go through the whole conversation interaction with the Night Raven Boss. After this, a flying path is going to be revealed to you. This is on the right-hand side of the Night Raven.

After jumping into the gust of wind and all the way until the end, you’re going to be flying through rings in a path that represent the “wonders and the lovely sights of the island”, as Night Raven Boss says.

While gliding, make sure to dash a little bit above the rings to be on the safe side. Trying to be in the middle of the rings could result in losing too much altitude.

Not to worry though, as the rings seem to have a rather large “hitbox”, so you don’t need to be too precise or accurate – they are quite forgiving, considering they’re just hoops of air.

In between the sequences of rings you’ll have strong gusts pushing you up, which greatly helps with gaining and maintaining altitude – you might even need to lose some of it, requiring you to jump down for a second and then continuing to glide through or slightly above the rings.

Don’t be alarmed once you see there’s no chest at the end – the sight is the reward in and of itself.
