One Fruit Simulator continues to be updated with new features, including islands and raid bosses. A lot of fruits in the game have fallen out of favor over time, which is why the developers like to spice things up by adding awakened versions of them every now and then. In this guide, we will show you how to awaken the Mochi fruit, as well as what its upgraded version is capable of!
Awakened Mochi Fruit Location & Showcase
As with every other awakened fruit in the game, you are going to need to get the necessary keys to access the raid that drops Mochi Essence. With the raid rework in the latest update, you can find the new raid NPC at the hub area.
The Mochi Key drops from the Big Mom boss NPC, who can be found in the entirely new Cake Island that was just added to the third sea. Use your log compass to find it, and get ready to grind for a lot of keys!
The Mochi Awakening raid will place you in an arena against General Katupiri, which is a large Mochi user who typically has a whopping one trillion (or potentially even way more) health. Even with a powerful build and maxed out stats and Conqueror’s Haki, it is recommended to have a group to help you out with this as the boss is incredibly tanky.
If you have the money for it, or good stuff to trade for them, get yourself some bonus drop rate gear and game passes. This will ensure that you get all of the necessary keys and resources as quickly as possible. He also drops various new items, including a weapon and some accessories. We are unsure how useful they are, though, but expect them to make you look like the raid boss if you do choose to wear them.
Awakening Mochi & Ability Set Showcase
The easiest way to awaken Mochi and skip the key and essence grind is by simply using the Skip mechanic at the cost of 800 Robux. If you have a lot of extra Robux to spare, feel free to do this.
If you aren’t going to spend money on it, you will need to grind for at least 260 Mochi Essence in order to awaken all of the fruit’s abilities. This will take a lot of grinding, even with multiple boosters on hand.
Awakened Mochi has great ranged and short range potential, and as the shiny new awakened fruit in the game, it should not be surprising to know that it is particularly strong right now. Here are its abilities:
- Awakened Burning Mochi (Z move) – The user fires a large burning fist projectile that will explode on impact, dealing damage in a large area.
- Awakened Mochi Barrage (X move) – The user lets out a large barrage of mochi pillars in a huge area in front of them for several seconds.
- Awakened Mochi Roll (C move) – Standard traveling ability that lets you roll across the sea, same as the non-awakened version of this move but seemingly faster.
- Pastry Spikes (V move) – Causes a barrage of spikes to appear from the ground for several seconds at the target location.
- Pastry Pounding (B move) – The user does a barrage of strikes at the target location. Similar to Awakened Mochi Barrage, except it is in a dome-like area instead of just simply firing in front of you.
- Awakened Buzz Cut (F move) – The user extends their arm and starts swinging it around, causing a large tornado to form all around them, dealing tons of damage for several seconds.
