Anime Defenders: How To Get Gems Fast (Best Farming Methods)

Earn gems and buy better upgrades for your units!

Tower defense games aren’t new to Roblox; we’re saying hello to Anime Defenders now. This highly anticipated anime-themed tower defense offers many of the same mechanics as others, but as with all games, there’s a currency you need to farm to get the best units possible. I’ll show you all the ways you can get gems fast in Roblox Anime Defenders.

How To Get Gems Fast

There are multiple ways you can grind gems in Anime Defenders. Some are relatively high effort, but other ways will be as simple as redeeming codes. I’ll list down all the ways below.

This is a random still from Anime Defenders.

Redeem the In-Game Rewards

The easiest way to get gems is to redeem the new working codes. These tend to expire randomly so make sure to redeem these as soon as possible. I’ve listed down all the current working codes below.

  • 200kholymoly – redeem for 1000 gems
  • adontop – redeem for 250 gems
  • subcool – redeem for 50 gems
  • sub2toadboigaming – redeem for 50 gems
  • sub2mozking – redeem for 50 gems
  • sub2karizmaqt – redeem for 50 gems
  • sub2jonaslyz – redeem for 50 gems
  • sub2riktime – redeem for 50 gems
  • sub2nagblox – redeem for 50 gems

Play Story Mode

The next way to get free gems is to complete the story mode chapters. Each chapter will give you about 80 to 100 gems. This means that playing all 6 chapters for the 3 worlds will grant around 1800 gems. A higher difficulty will mean a higher gem reward, so keep this in mind. If you do the math, doing all the story events on hard mode will give you 3600 gems in total.

Note that this is a one-time thing, so once you finish these chapters, doing them again won’t give you extra gems.

Play the story mode to get free gems.

Do Challenges

Let me start by saying that challenges aren’t an efficient way to farm. That being said, you can get from 30 to 130 gems from challenges and some stars. Some challenges won’t give you gems, so keep that in mind.

Each challenge will take around 5-6 minutes to complete, so they’re a quick way to get a couple of gems when you’re in a pinch. Challenges will only be open for a certain amount of time, so make sure to do the high-value challenges to get the best possible rewards.

Quests

Quests are the fastest way to get gems in Anime Defenders. These are usually weekly quests, giving you more than enough time to accomplish them. The rewards from weekly quests are extremely generous, granting up to 2000x gems.

The Infinite quests also grant some gems but aren’t as easy or as rewarding. These are repeatable though, which is great for getting 100x extra gems in.

Weekly quests are your best best at getting gems for low effort.

Infinite Mode

Infinite mode is exactly how it sounds. Players can complete as many waves as possible for about 8 gems per wave. Note, however, that Infinite mode is stuck on Hard mode which will allow you to get around 800-1000 gems per hour depending on the strength of your kit.

AFK Mode (Lobby and Tiny Task)

There are two “real AFK” methods to farm. One is the in-game AFK Lobby, and the other will use a tiny task to play the game for you.

AFK Lobby

Quick disclaimer, the AFK Lobby isn’t all that great. You need to get to level 10 before you can use this method. For every minute and a half, you get a gem drop. This means that you get around 80 gems per hour (assuming you don’t have premium or VIP).

You can access this at the AFK Lobby at the menu, where you can leave the game running to collect a not-so-great number of gems. Hey, it’s better than nothing.

Tiny Task

If you’re unfamiliar, Tiny Task is a free software you can use to play the game for you. It works by recording the plays you want to repeat in the game, and the software will play the recording on a loop until you stop it.

For safety reasons, we won’t place any download links for Tiny Task. Find and install this software at your discretion.

This is another random still from the game.

Once you’ve downloaded and installed Tiny Task, head to the “Enter to Play” portal and select any random world (for example, chapter 1 of Windmill Village).

Start the round and then open Tiny Task. Click Record and place cheap units along the entrance of the map. Upgrade these units. Keep doing this until you’re happy with the units and upgrades you’ve set and stop the Tiny Task recording.

SIDE NOTE: Want to know which units are worth upgrading? Check out our guide on the Best Units in Anime Defenders for more awesome info!

Now start a new game and play the Tiny Task you just recorded. This will play on a loop and you can farm gems indefinitely until you stop the task. Easy as that!
