Sailing to unknown and uncharted seas has always been one of the biggest tropes in adventures, and for good reason. Getting the chance to be the first to see a whole new world is exciting and makes the adventure more thrilling with the element of the unknown. The Golden Apple Archipelago for many players fits that trope. In this guide we’ll show you how to get through the pesky fog by following Captain Night Raven’s Instructions, so get your sea legs on!
Follow Captain Night Raven’s Instructions To Pierce The Fog Guide | Genshin Impact
First off, is that you need to go in your Waverider, since I’m sure you don’t want to swim all the way there. The location for the quest is to the northwest of Twinning Isle, the best place to start is directly south of the center of the circle so start there to have a better chance of following this guide.
The first step is that Captain Night Raven will show you the starting point. A rock that you need to sail around to, so go there as per his instruction. At this point, the fog will spawn in so try not to get lost and use the compass in your mini-map to your advantage.
If you see a bird statue then you’re on the right track. Now go to the rock where the bird is facing, directly northwest of the bird.
Once you get there you should be able to start the next step, and the captain will show you where to go next. You’ll be directed to go to a rock to the northwest, and he says to crash into it. It’s because the rock is an illusion, so just follow the instructions.
Just pass the rock is a smaller rock, go there. You’ll see it since a statue will appear there. All of the rocks you need to go to will have a bird statue on them.
After that, Captain Night raven will tell you to take a hard left, directly to the west to another rock. This rock isn’t an illusion though so don’t go full ramming speed into it.
Now the next rock is actually a bit outside of the circle, so don’t worry about going out of bounds. Just don’t go crazy on it either and just leave the circle entirely.
Now if done correctly, you should be going northeast now, to the actual island you need to go to.
Congratulations, you just got yourself through the fog, thanks to some magic rocks and some good old fashion sailing. Now go on top of that island and claim your prize!
