Honor of Kings is a free to play MOBA that you can get on Android, iOS and even on PC (through an emulator). The game is pretty similar to Mobile Legends: Bang Bang.
This game has a pretty decent set of characters (heroes). And in a MOBA game, every character plays completely differently which means you have to master each hero separately. This guide will show you how to play Jing such as her skills, combos, best build, etc.
Complete Jing Guide
Jing has a good set of skills which are closely related to her passive skill. Knowing what each skill does is the first step towards mastering Jing.
Skills
All of Jing’s skills are mentioned below:
Passive Skill – Lethal Reflection
- Using any ability of Jing will create a clone of herself. The clone moves in the opposite direction of you. It deals 30% of your damage to enemies (more damage if the clone is far from you) and 10% to towers.
- The clone lasts for 2 seconds.
- Attacks done by you and your clone marks the enemy. When an enemy is marked by both you and your clone, your 1st and 2nd skill cooldown will be reset.
- The image below shows the mark applied by you and your clone. The mark shown on the left is applied by you and the mark shown on the right is applied by your clone.
Skill 1 – Movement
- This move will make Jing dash forward in the direction you want. It deals damage to the enemy and also slows them down by 30%.
- After using this ability, your next 2 basic attacks will get augmented which means they deal double the damage. So it is better to use basic attacks right after using this ability.
Skill 2 – Recovery
- With this move, you can cause AOE damage in the area you are standing while recovering your HP.
Skill 3 – Mirror Image
- This is the ultimate move of Jing and the one that requires a bit of practice to master.
- In this move, Jing creates a circle around her with 8 glass shards at the edges of the circle. A clone of Jing will also be created for 10 seconds. The ultimate ability will immediately end if you leave the circle.
- If the enemy is hit by the ultimate, they will get stunned 1 second and drawn to the center of the circle. Attacking the enemy (you or your clone) will make the glass shards closest to Jing cause damage to the enemy.
- Using the ultimate again will let Jing swap places with her clone. This will make the ultimate go on a 1.5 second cooldown. Causing damage to the enemy will reset this cooldown.
How to use the Ultimate Skill
When you hit an enemy with your ultimate and stun them for a second, use the ultimate again to swap places with your clone. And during the swap animation, hit the enemy with your basic attack when you get close. This will reset the cooldown of the ultimate and you can keep repeating this to cause massive damage to the enemy.
The only tricky part is hitting the enemy while you are in the middle of the swap dash animation. I suggest you practice this technique on a dummy in the training room.
Combos
Following are a couple of combos that work really well with Jing. Learning how to use them well will require practice. You can use the training room for that.
1st Combo – During Early Match
- Skill 1 → Basic Attack → Skill 1 → Basic Attack → Skill 2.
2nd Combo – Dealing with Enemies that are Far (or Running Away)
- Skill 1 → Skill 3 → Basic Attack → Skill 2 → Basic Attack → Skill 1 → Basic Attack.
3rd Combo – For Team Fights
- Skill 3 → Skill 1 → Skill 3 → Skill 2 → Skill 3 → Skill 1 → Skill 3 → Skill 2 → Skill 3 → Basic Attack → Skill 3 → Basic Attack.
4th Combo – Normal Combo
- Skill 1 → Basic Attack → Skill 1 → Basic Attack → Skill 3 → Skill 1 → Skill 2 → Basic Attack → (keep repeating Skill 3 → Skill 1 → Skill 2 → Basic Attack until the ultimate skill ends).
5th Combo – Ultimate Skill Combo
- Skill 1 → Skill 3 → Skill 2 → Skill 1 → Skill 3 → Basic Attack → Skill 3 → Skill 2 → Skill 3 → Basic Attack → Skill 3 → Skill 2 → Skill 3 → Basic Attack → Skill 3 → Skill 1.
Equipment
The equipment you use with Jing will ultimately depend on the situation of the match. But the following is a pretty good equipment build that you can use with Jing if you don’t have any other build in mind.
- Rapacious Bite
- Boots of Resistance
- Axe of Torment
- Master Sword
- Siege Breaker
- Star Breaker
Arcana Archive
- Red Moon (x2)
- Mutation (x8)

Best Settings to use with Jing
Go to Controls and under Basic Control Settings, choose Free Attack Mode (Advanced).
After that, make the following changes:
- Set Target Prioritization to Nearest Unit.
- Turn off Enemy Avatar Display.
- Turn off Auto Basic Attack.
- Set Auto Chase Distance to Close-Range.
Once you have made these changes, your Controls settings should look like the ones shown below.
Now you have all the information required for mastering Jing. If you feel like playing another character then Mai Shiranui is also a pretty good choice. If you want to learn how to play as Mai Shiranui then we have a guide available on that.
