Events in MMORPGs are always welcomed. Especially ones where you have a chance to get items that you don’t normally get outside of the event. In Elder Scrolls Online’s Whitestrake’s Mayhem, you get to receive these event-only items through PVP fighting other players! Although, there are also ways where you can get these items without doing any PVP at all. In this guide, we’ll show you the different ways of playing the Event and what you can get!

In-game PvP Event Guide For ESO: Whitestrake’s Mayhem 2022

The event is named after Pelinal Whitestrake. This is a character in Elder Scroll’s lore that you even meet in Elder Scrolls Oblivion. He was one of the strongest warriors in the first era, and since ESO starts in the second era the memory of Pelinal still lives strong with this event!

So, what do you get through this event? Since this is a PVP-centered event you will get more XP when doing PVP in the central PVP area of ESO: Cyrodiil.

One of the ways to start participating in the event is by going through the Alliance War Menu.

Firstly, all you need to do is to join a campaign. Once you do, this will teleport you to your Alliance’s main gate to Cyrodiil.

If this is your first time playing in the event, and you haven’t done the quest connected to the event yet then go to your nearest battlegrounds and look for “Predicant Maera.” This NPC will start you with the quest. She looks like the picture below.

Once you’ve finished the quest it will give you a Scroll of Pelinal’s Ferocity and a Pelinal’s Boon Box. Given that, the scroll will give you a 2-hour buff on gaining AP and XP for PVP kills.

Now on to the fun stuff, there are new items that you can get in this event by doing tasks around Cyrodiil. Here is a list of the new items you can get:

  • House Dufort Banneret Outfit Styles
  • Battle-scarred body and face markings
  • Black Drake Clanwrap armor pack

Here is also a list of activities you can do in battleground to get more Pelinal’s Boon Boxes:

  • Battleground quests
  • Scouting, Battle, Warfront and Conquest Missions
  • Elder Scroll Capture or Recapture quests
  • Imperial City Daily Quests
  • Town Quests in Cyrodiil.

And what do you get when opening Pelinal’s Boon Boxes? Well, here is a list of the possible items you can get:

  • Parcel of Tel Var Stones
  • Cyrodiil Repair Kits
  • Alchemy Ingredients
  • Soul Gems
  • Daedric Siege Weapons
  • Forward Camp
  • Prismatic Runestone
  • Whitestrake’s Mayhem Book Furnishing
  • Alliance Armor Style
  • Akaviri Armor Style
  • Chapter of Alliance Armor Motif
  • Chapter of Akaviri Armor Motif
  • Alliance Breton Terrier pet fragment

Now in the event, you can also gain event tickets. These tickets can be spent to get unique event items in the game so here are some tips on getting those tickets:

  • You can earn only 3 event tickets per day.
  • You can only carry 12 event tickets, if you gain more than your maximum it’ll waste the tickets.
  • The first two tickets can be made by completing repeatable battleground quests.
  • One ticket can be received from one District daily quest in the Imperial City.

So where do you spend these tickets? Well, you can spend them in the Impresario in any major city in the game.

Now that you now know the basics of the event, go out there and get your event-only prizes!
