When it comes to MOBA games, there are a lot of different heroes that you can pick from. Learning each one of them can take a lot of time and resources and most people don’t have enough of that. That’s why you’ll want to know what a character or hero can do first before trying them out!
In Honor of Kings, there are a lot of different heroes with their strengths and weaknesses. If you’re looking for an assassin/mage character, then Luna is the one for you. You’ll need to first learn her skills and abilities though to effectively use her!
In this guide, we’ll show you how you can use Luna effectively in the game. We’ll go through all of her skills as well as a great build for you to follow. Now, let’s see what Luna has to offer!
Complete Luna Guide
If you want a character that can deal a lot of damage really quick, then Luna is the character for you. The game classifies her as an Assassin/mage and from the abilities you’ll see that she can pack a punch.
Passive Skill – Moonlight Dance
For this passive skill, the first auto-attack on a new target will make the character teleport towards them. Along with that, the third auto-attack will deal additional damage as well as mark the target as Moonlit. This Moonlit effect will synergize with the other skills below.
When a target is Moonlit, there will be a crescent moon sign above their HP bar. You can hit multiple enemies with the 3rd attack and mark them all with Moonlit as long as they’re within the AOE.
First Skill – Lunar Slash
For the first active ability, we have the Lunar Slash which makes the character shoot out a projectile to where you aim it. When you hit an enemy, it will deal damage as well as marking them with Moonlit. The projectile can hit multiple enemies along its path and will also mark them.
Second Skill – Scorching Glow
The second skill is Scorching Glow and it’s an AOE crowd control skill. When you use it, the surrounding enemies will be pulled towards you. Much like the other abilities this one also marks the enemies with Moonlit.
Third Skill – Crescent Assault
The third and last active skill is Crescent Assault and on its own, it looks underwhelming. When you use it, the character will dash attack towards an area. Where this move shines is that if you hit an enemy with the Moonlit effect, the cooldown for the skill will disappear!
That means if you have multiple enemies with Moonlit, you can continuously use this dashing attack to hit them. This means you’ll want to use your other skills to mark them with Moonlit as much as possible. Then, follow it up with this skill to add more damage!
Item and Arcana Build
Now that you know how each ability works, you’ll want to know what the best build for Luna is. The great thing about Luna is that her attack speed is based on the amount of AP she has. So, if we increase our AP by a lot, we can dish out a lot of damage.
Here are all of the items you’ll want to build towards for this Luna:
- Boots of Resistance
- Augur’s Word
- Insatiable Tome
- Breakthrough Robe
- Runeblade
- Savant’s Wrath
If you want to maximize this character even more, then we’ll need the right Arcana. These are the Arcanas you’ll want to sue for Luna as its passive effects will help with dishing out damage.
- 10 x Hunt
- 10 x Mind’s Eye
- 10 x Red Moon
With all that knowledge, you’re ready to play Luna in Honor of Kings. Now, go out there and try it out yourself! Do you want to try out another character in the game? Check out our Complete Jing Guide for more details!
