Honor of Kings: Complete Nuwa Guide

Honor of Kings is a MOBA game in which the player can control various characters or according to the game “Heroes” with unique abilities and skills, contributing in their own way to the battlefield.  To master each hero, you’ll need to know more about Nuwa so let’s get started.

Let us introduce you to this hero named Nuwa who is known to be a strategic mage with the power to teleport, control enemies, create terrain and more. In order to fully master this tactician on the battlefield, you may need to learn a little bit about her skills.

Skills

Let’s take a look at all of Nuwa’s skills including her regular skills, passive and ultimate.

Passive Skill: Guiding Light

• Everytime Nuwa levels up, her vision’s range increases by 2% reaching a maximum of up to 42%. This also increases her skill casting range basic attack by 2% (max 28%). 
• Nuwa’s marking of enemy heroes lets allies and herself deal additional damage with basic attacks and skills. In addition, this directly increases health regeneration and ally movement speed by 16%. This effect, however, can only be triggered once every 0.5 seconds per attacker.
• When you progress further on in the game, Nuwa’s wider vision range, aside her long spell attack distance, will allow her to find the ideal positions for combat.

Skill 1: Incantation- Resplendence

• This skill Releases energy towards your target, knocking them back and dealing +30% AP magic damage to any other enemies in its path. The energy spreads out in a cross array once it reaches its maximum range, dealing damage to all enemies that are in range. 
• The cross array that emerges after the knockback does cover a large area, but the ability moves slowly, which will in turn require the player to predict their enemies next moves.

Skill 2: Incantation- Creation

• Nuwa creates a matrix at the specified target location that counts as a terrain, disallowing any enemies to pass through. (This space disappears after 3 seconds)
• The space’s disappearance will trigger an explosion, dealing +65% AP magic damage to enemies that are nearby when it explodes.
• Additionally, Nuwa’s AP can extend the duration of the matrix, allowing her to have an advantage over her enemies. 

Skill 3: Incantation -Emergence

• After a small delay, Nuwa creates a rift and teleports to a specified location, allowing her to deal +65% AP magic damage and stun any enemies in range. 
• Passive: Periodically, when she takes damage from enemies, she also slows nearby enemies by 50% allowing her to gain 30% Movement Speed for 2 seconds along with a shield that can absorb +80% AP damage.

Ultimate Skill: Incantation – Ruin

After a small delay, Nuwa releases pure energy in her target direction, dealing strong magical damage to all enemies in its path. This skill has the ability to pierce through the front row and hit the back row, also heavy burst damage.

How to Use Ultimate

• Try using Flash to change the path of the ultimate. Flash can only allow Nuwa to change the casting location of the ultimate; it can’t, however, change the casting direction. 
• For more frequent usage, use cooldown equipment that reduces the ultimate’s cooldown. 
• When you find yourself at a disadvantage, use the ultimate to clear minions at range and take some of the pressure off.

Combos

Let’s look at some of Nuwa’s combos that you can utilize in combat.

1. Nuwa’s most common skill combo is the Skill 3 + Skill 1 + Ultimate. With Skill 2, she can teleport to provide herself some support. She can also use it to assist in limiting the enemy’s movement.
2. Skill 2 + Skill 1 + Skill 4 + Skill 3. Skill 2 to limit the enemy’s movements, skill 1 to knockback and deal damage, skill 4 to deal damage to enemies in a straight line and skill 3 for a final kill or to move to a new position and continue dealing damage.

• It’s imperative that you always pay attention to your teammates because Nuwa’s greatest strength is quick and effective support.
• Nuwa’s magical attacks not only increase damage but also affect the duration of her matrix.
• Nuwas’s vision range increases with level.
• Skill synergy can effectively control enemies.
• Nuwa can have multiple roles in team fights. If you assign her as a counter-initiator, her energy radiate can push back any charging enemies, and the cross array can cause high area damage. 
• When you assign her as a mid-laner, her ultimate can pierce through the front line and hit the back line directly, causing heavy burst damage.
