Honor of Kings is a mobile MOBA game that takes inspiration from popular MOBA games like League of Legends and Mobile Legends. To better understand Zhou Yu, you will need to learn everything about him. From his moveset to his skills. First off, let’s start with his skills.
Skills
Like all of the heroes in Honor of Kings, Zhou Yu has 4 main skills: Passive, 2 Active, and an Ultimate skill. Each of these skills will help you overcome your enemies as you fight them in the battlefield. But don’t just spam them. You actually have to know when to use them at the right time.
Blaze (Passive Skill)
Attacking your enemies may not seem much, but it’s actually going to help you and your team a lot. Blaze is Zhou Yu’s Passive Skill, and what it does is that each time you damage an enemy with a Basic Attack, and even skills, said enemy will be marked with the Passive Skill and will gain Slow and damage over time.
Blaze can be stacked up to 4 times as well, meaning you can theoretically defeat an enemy at low health by just inflicting them with Blaze and slowing them down to catch up. It’s a great Passive Skill if you are the type of player to chase after enemies if they try to flee. It’s also a great Support skill, as you can help your allies slow down enemies they are trying to chase.
Wildfire (Active Skill)
If you are surrounded and trying to retreat to safety, Wildfire is your friend. This Active Skill allows you to unleash a powerful wind attack that not only blows back enemies from you, but also slows them down. It’s the perfect skill to use when you need to give yourself some breathing room when you’re practically surrounded.
It can also give your teammates increased Move Speed, but only to those who are near you. This will also spread any nearby fires that Zhou Yu put down from his skills or attacks to the direction of the wind. If the fires hit your enemies, they will then get damage over time on top of the initial damage.
Scorching Bolt (Active Skill)
Zhou Yu’s second Active Skill, Scorching Bolt, creates a fire domain that can damage any enemies that are caught at the target location. It deals initial damage, then burning damage to those who are still in the domain. You can put up to a maximum of 5 fire domains at a time if you have enough charges to the skill.
But it’s not just an attack skill. Zhou Yu can regain health while he is in any of the fire domains he puts down in the match. However, this does not apply to his teammates. They can take shelter in the fire domain to keep enemies away, but they cannot get any sort of healing from it.
Flames of War (Ultimate Skill)
Flames of War, Zhou Yu’s Ultimate Skill, deals damage to enemies in range. He unleashes a raging flame that deals damage to any enemy that is caught in its range. The best part about this skill is that if you have any fire domains surrounding you and your enemies, any enemy that even steps one foot in the firer domain will get stunned and take extra damage.
Combo
Zhou Yu only has one combo that most Zhou Yu mains will agree is the only one you will ever need.
- Skill 2 – Skill 2- Skill 1 – Ultimate
With this combo, you are able to call down 2 fire domains to surround your enemy. Then you use Wildfire to knock you enemies into the fire domains to damage them. Immediately, you hit your Ultimate and stun the enemies caught in your fire domains and deal damage from both the fire domains and your Ultimate.
