Clover Retribution is Roblox game that is inspired by the popular anime and manga franchise, Black Clover. It features everything you know from the anime and manga, including a fantastic gameplay system that’s pretty close to the anime. But this game is still an RPG game, so it’s going to include RPG mechanics like traits. Not an uncommon sight in RPG games, but Clover Retribution has it in the game. If you want to know which traits are the best, then you have come to the right place. In this tier list, I will show you the best and the ones you should avoid in Clover Retribution.

Best Trait Tier List

A tier list for all of the traits in Clover Retribution.

Before we start, please bear in mind that this tier list is 100% opinionated. It is not a factual tier list that is meant to be taken as the be all end all of traits in the game. This is a tier list formed with the opinions from the gaming community and what they think.

With that out of the way, here are the traits:

S Tier

  • Mystical Eyes – This trait grants +8 to Dexterity, Strength, Intelligence, and +10% to Maximum Mana and Damage. What really makes this trait amazing is that it allows you to target enemy weak points that stack up to 5 times. Once all 5 stacks are accumulated, the stacks are then consumed by the enemy and they get a 15% total damage taken.
  • Heavenly Restricted – This trait focuses more on increasing the physical damage of your attacks than your magic. In fact, this trait reduces your Mana by 80% whilst giving you +5 to Strength, +5 to Dexterity, +10 Constitution, and a whopping +50% to Bludgeoning, Slashing, and Piercing damage. An amazing trait that ups your damage by a lot.
  • Loved By Mana – A pretty cool trait that gives you a cool looking aura, plus a +250 Mana to your existing Mana. This is essentially allowing you to do more magics than before.

A Tier

  • Monstrous Reserves – If you want something that can get your Mana up quicker, then the Monstrous Reserves is what you’re looking for. You get a +50% Mana and +10 Flat Mana Regen alongside it.
  • Power of Friendship – A rather cool and interesting trait, Power of Friendship is essentially a second wind for you. What happens is that when you die, someone from your friendlist will jump in to take the hit for you and push you aside. It then gives you 25% of your HP back, plus a couple seconds of Iframes, then you are Enraged for 30 seconds.

B Tier

  • Noble – Noble grants the user +5 to Intelligence and +25% to Mana, which is very useful. However, the only one that really carries this trait is the +25% Mana. The +5 Intelligence isn’t all that worth it.
  • Boss Slayer – Grants a +20% Damage to bosses and elite enemies in the game. Plus a +30% Dash Cooldown. A good trait to have when farming bosses in the game, but not much use else outside of that.
  • Arcane Zenith – This trait allows you to decrease your Mana Consumption by -30%. It’s great for those that have powerful magic builds, allowing you to do more damage since your Mana Consumption is down significantly lower.
  • Mana Rampage – A good and standard trait that most players use. Mana Rampage allows players to do +16% to Magic Damage, but it does increase your Mana Consumption by +16%.

C Tier

  • Tenacity – On paper, Tenacity should be a hit. It grants you +20% Damage Reduction against all damages when 30% below HP. But the problem here is that once you are below 30% HP, a lot of players in the game can instantly one shot you with their own powerful builds. Mostly great for early stages of the game.
  • Scholar – Grants the user +5 to Intelligence. It’s not all that good when you’re trying to make a good build.
  • Finesse Master – A rather common trait that doesn’t really do much except give you +5 Dexterity to your stats. Not very useful if you don’t have a build that centers around swords.
  • Fighter – Gives out +2 to Strength and Constitution, which is honestly not that bad. But it’s not the best traits to use when there are others that are even better.
  • Arcane Adept – Arcane Adept may seem good already on paper, as it grants a -10% in Mana Consumption, but it’s not really all that useful when you find out that Mana Consumption isn’t all that bad in the game. You can properly maintain your Mana really well if you’re simply aware of it.

D Tier

  • Superior Speed – Only grants the user with +5 to Speed, which is not all that great.
  • Gaia’s Blessing – This trait essentially focuses more on Earth magics compared to others. It grants an increase in Earth damage and adds a secondary bonus to its scaling Strength. But it doesn’t do much with your Intelligence. Not all that good unless you plan to do Earth magics, which is considered the weakest magics in the game.
  • Mystic Savant – Similar to Arcane Adept, this trait grants you -20% to Mana Consumption. It’s 10% better than Arcane Adept, but the worst part about this trait is that this is all it offers. No additional plus to any other trait. And again, Mana Consumption isn’t all that bad in this game.
  • Average – As expected, Average doesn’t really provide anything of value as a trait. Mostly there to be just bad luck for players.
  • Lyrical Surge – By far the most useless trait on this list. It grants you Melodized on you and your teammates every 70 seconds, which is not at all useful in a fight.

That’s all you need to know about the best traits in Clover Retribution. Did this tier list help you understand? Let us know in the comments below. If you want to learn more about the game, check out this tier list for the best race in Clover Retribution.
