Once Human: No Access to Rift Anchor Explained

No Access to Rift Anchor Explained

When going around the huge map of Once Human, you’ll see these Rift Anchor icons on the map. They often show you points of interest that have loot crates, elite enemies, and sometimes even side quests inside.

When you’re running around, you might find anchors that say, “No Access to Rift Anchor.” When you try to interact with it, the anchor won’t open and give you rewards.

This usually happens when you try to interact with a Rift Anchor that’s in an area of the map you’ve not unlocked yet. Sections of the map are unlocked by following the main quest and you can’t open these anchors without doing that first.

That’s why you’ll see that message on those anchors. So, if you see one, that means you haven’t progressed through the main quest yet to unlock it. Make sure to do the main quest, so that you can continue exploring the vast open world!
