Once Human: How To Get All Deviant Locations

All the Deviant Locations in Once Human in one guide! (Updated)

In Once Human, there are Deviants which offer a variety of useful enhancements that can aid you in combat for short durations, with abilities ranging from defensive to offensive, as well as utility. Of course, such feature doesn’t come off easy and you’ll have to put up a bit of work in order to get the Deviants. Not only that, but every single Deviant in the game has distinct and unique obtainment methods. In this guide, I’ll show you how to get all Deviant and their locations within one guide!

How To Get All Deviant Locations

So far, there’s a total of over 30 Deviants in Once Human, and they all provide special, as well as unique benefits and effects. As mentioned above, they also have different methods of acquirement – Which makes sense considering every Deviant has some sort of theme or design.

I’ll provide easy-to-follow steps and instructions, as well as pinpoint the locations, so that you can easily collect all of them (Gotta catch ’em all! Right?). Feel free to use the Table of Contents below if you’re only interested or in need of assistance for certain Deviants in the game.

Artisan’s Touch

For the most part, you can get Artisan’s Touch Deviants by killing Scorcher enemies in Once Human. Scorchers are Elite enemies that you can find in certain areas. There’s another monster that you can also kill to get this Deviant, which we’ll see in this guide. We’ll look at all the locations where you can find and kill these enemies.

Location #1 – Hearst Industries

The first location we’ll be heading to for the Artisan’s Deviant is Hearst Industries. The exact location you want to go to is shown on the Once Human map below.

Hearst Industries on map in Once Human.

When you arrive here, you should see a large warehouse entrance here. Inside this warehouse, you’ll come across the Scorcher elite enemy. You’ll have to defeat this enemy.

Shooting Scorcher in Once Human.

After you kill the enemy, you’ll need to loot its body. You should be able to find the Artisan’s Deviant here.

Looting Scorcher in Once Human.

If you do not come across the Deviant, there is a way to increase your chances. Head to the nearest Teleportation Tower and Switch Worlds. After that, kill the Scorcher again to try and get it.

Switch Worlds as much as you want until you get the Deviant.

Location #2 – Greywater Industrial Zone

For the next Artisan’s Touch location, you need to go to the Greywater Industrial Zone. The specific location you want to go to is shown on the Once Human map below.

Greywater Industrial Zone in Once Human.

Now all you need to do is locate the Scorcher elite enemy here. You can find it roaming around in the open outside.

Kill it and loot the Scorcher’s Body to get the Artisan’s Deviant. Again, if you do not find it, Switch Worlds and try your luck again.

Location #3 – Near Blackfell Fallen Zone

Last, but not least, there is a chance for you to get the Artisan’s Touch Deviant in another location. This is an area that you can find near the Blackfell Fallen Zone

The exact location that you want to head to is shown in the Once Human map below.

Blackfell Fallen Zone on map in Once Human.

When you get here, you’ll see a parking lot here with some stairs. You want to make your way up all the way to the top.

Going up parking lot stairs in Once Human.

After you reach the top, you’ll see a boss by the name of Weather Forecast boss. It is a tanky boss that you’ll need to shoot quite a bit.

Once this enemy is dead, loot its body. There is a chance for the Artisan’s Touch Deviant to be in the loot.

However, this method is not as reliable as the others. This is because a few players have reported that it took them many tries to get the Deviant with this method.

You can still try it by repeating the process using the Switch Worlds method we looked at previously in this guide.

How To Use Artisan’s Touch

Now that you have the Artisan’s Touch Deviant, it’s time to see how you can use it in Once Human. Let’s take a look at the description of this Deviant.

As you can see, you can use this Deviant to get special materials that will help you craft Tactical Items. Additionally, it can be used to repair gear that you have equipped.

Artisan's Touch Description in Once Human.

Getting this Deviant allows you to unlock the All Purpose Hand blueprint. You can access this blueprint at the Intermediate Supplies Workbench.

The All Purpose Hand tool allows instantly repair of the equipped gear with the lowest durability.

Previously, you could repair any equipped gear even if you didn’t own it. However, after the latest update, the Once Human developers have removed this feature.

That’s everything you need to know about getting the Artisan’s Touch Deviant in Once Human. Be sure to check out all the locations in this guide. You should eventually be able to get your hands on this Deviant.

Atomic Snail

To get the Atomic Snail Deviant in Once Human, you will need to go through the following steps:

  1. Participate in a Prime War on Easy Difficulty
  2. Get a Rating Score of at least 800, or the Highest Tier
  3. Open the Stardust’s Advent – Easy III Crate.

It’s important to keep in mind that you only have a chance to get the Atomic Snail Deviant through these steps. It is not guaranteed. Additionally, you can get the Atomic Snail Deviant in PvE Servers only.

Obtainment Method

Starting off, to get the Atomic Snail Deviant in Once Human, you will need to load into a PvE Server. This is because this Deviant can only be obtained in PvE.

After that, you will need to participate in a Prime War on Easy Difficulty. Prime Wars are events that appear in the form of huge beacons that are difficult to miss. You can spot Prime Wars by looking at your map.

Prime War on map in Once Human.

Once a Prime War appears, make sure to participate in it. After that, you will be able to take part in it with other players. Make sure to be there on time or you will not be able to get enough points.

When you’re in a Prime War, your goal is to get as many points as you can. This is because you want to get the Gold Crate that can only be obtained if you get the highest tier of rewards.

Ravenous Hunter Prime War in Once Human.

So, your goal should be to get at least 800 Points so that you can get the Gold Crate and reach the highest tier of rewards. The Gold Crate has a chance to contain the Atomic Snail Deviant.

Here are some actions that you can do to increase your Rating Score for Prime Wars in Once Human:

  • Offering Healing Support to Allies
  • Establishing Defenses, like Turrets
  • Damaging the Boss
  • Stripping the Shield.

You can also see the Detail Panel below, which shows all the actions you can do for the specific Prime War that we did in Once Human. Try to complete these actions too to maximize your points.

After you Complete the Prime War on Easy, go through your Inventory. You should be able to see the Stardust’s Advent – Easy III Crate, or the Gold Crate. We also recommend you open the other reward crates, for maximum loot.

Additionally, be sure to use Controllers when you open the Crate. Doing so will maximize your rewards, which could potentially increase your chances of getting the Atomic Snail Deviant.

Stardust's Advent Easy III Crate in Once Human.

After you open this Gold Crate, go to your Inventory and check the Deviants. Here, you can see whether you got the Atomic Snail Deviant or not. It can take many tries as well, and will depend on your luck.

If you do not get it, you will need to repeat these steps and try again.

How To Use Atomic Snail

Now that you have the Atomic Snail Deviant in Once Human, it’s time to see how you can use it. Once you get it, be sure to put it in an Isolated Securement Unit at your base.

Doing so will give you a recipe for a Whim Potion, Aero Leap. You will be able to craft this Aero Leap potion at the Advanced Supplies Workbench.

After you drink the potion, you will be able to see dash a short distance really quickly when you are in the air. All you need to do is press the Roll button when you are in the air to activate it.

Be warned though as you will still take fall damage, even after you use Aero Leap.

That’s everything you need to know about getting the Atomic Snail Deviant in Once Human. The Whim Potion is quite useful, even though you will only be able to use it in PvE Servers. Hopefully, you can get the Deviant on your first try.

Atomic Lighter

Go To Securement Silo EX1

Starting off, you’ll want to head to the right location to get the Atomic Lighter Deviant. You’ll be heading to the Securement Silo EX1 which you can find on the Once Human map.

We have the location shown below for your convenience. You can find it near the Gaia Military Base and Rotten Saddle.

Begin Securement Silo EX1 Dungeon

After you get to the location, make your way to the gate of the Securement Silo EX1 Dungeon. Interact with it and you’ll see all the details for the Dungeon in Once Human.

Obtain Rosetta V3 Access Card

Progress through the Securement Silo Dungeon EX1 dungeon and defeat the enemies there. Eventually, you’ll go down an elevator to an open room.

Here, you’ll want to clear all the enemies you see. Doing so will spawn a boss at the end known as the Arbiter.

Fighting Arbiter in Once Human.

Kill the Arbiter in Once Human and make sure to loot its body. Doing so will give you the Rosetta V3 Access Card.

Use the Rosetta V3 Access Card at the nearby door panel to unlock it. After that, head inside and open the Weapon Crate that you find at the end. While not strictly necessary, this Weapon Crate does have some great goodies.

Using Rosetta V3 Access Card in Once Human.

Open Shortcut

Return to the large room that you just cleared and check the nearby smaller rooms. You should be able to see a breakable wall there with a prominent black and yellow design.

This shortcut in Once Human will allow you to get to the Atomic Lighter Deviant much faster. To open this shortcut, you’ll need to use a Grenade

Once it breaks open, head into the shortcut and progress through the Dungeon as you did before.

Opening shortcut in Once Human.

Break Wall

Eventually, you’ll come across a hallway that is blocked by a weird looking black slime. You can actually break this wall of slime by shooting the sacks that you see on it in Once Human.

The process is very nasty, but necessary if you want to get that Atomic Lighter Deviant. Once the way is clear, make your way on ahead.

Shooting sacks in Once Human.

Solve Puzzle

Up ahead, you’ll come across a strange looking door that behaves like a portal. This indicates the start of a puzzle that you’ll need to solve to get to the Atomic Lighter Deviant in Once Human.

The puzzle begins when you go through the door. Essentially, you’ll need to make your way to the other end of the area.

Securement Silo EX1 Puzzle Start in Once Human.

However, you should stop moving when the light turns red. If you do move, you’ll be sent all the way back to the start. Keep in mind that you can still shoot during the red light, as long as you remain still.

Keep progressing through the puzzle in this way until you reach the other end. Here, enter through the door to the final phase of this Dungeon!

There is another confusing puzzle that makes an appearance in the Securement Silo Theta Dungeon. We have the answer to it in our Securement Silo Theta Statue Puzzle Solution Guide.

Defeat Sennacherib Boss

When you enter through the doorway, you’ll arrive in a boss area in Once Human. This is the Sennacherib Boss, which has searchlights on his head.

In order to defeat it, you’ll need to fire at the searchlights on its head. But be warned as the lights will change colors.

Fighting Sennacherib Boss in Once Human.

When the colors turn red, you should not move. Otherwise, you’ll get frozen and it will deal devastating damage to you.

Again, you can shoot it during the red light as long as you stay still.

A great strategy is to stay behind one of the pillars. This will allow you to be safe even if you do end up moving during the red light and get frozen. Be sure to pop a Sanity Gummy during these moments so you do not lose too much health.

Keep shooting the searchlights and eventually, you’ll be able to defeat it! The Atomic Lighter Deviant is nearly in your hands.

Capture Atomic Lighter Deviant

When you defeat the Sennacherib boss, make your way upstairs. Here, you should be able to find the Atomic Lighter Deviant floating around.

Capture it and make sure to keep it in an Isolated Securement Unit at your base in Once Human.

How To Use Atomic Lighter Deviant

The description of the Atomic Lighter Deviant in your Inventory can clue you into what this Deviant does. Essentially, it can help provide you with materials that you need for crafting Tactical Items.

Additionally, it also seems to be useful in Combat as you can throw it to create a powerful Explosion. We strongly suggest you experiment with this Deviant in Once Human. It might prove to be a useful companion!

That’s everything you need to know about getting the Atomic Lighter Deviant in Once Human. Quite a long process compared to other Deviants. But we are sure it is worth it for the unique abilities it provides.

Buzzy Bee

Buzzy Bee Deviant Farmlands Location

The easiest way to get the Buzzy Bee Deviant in Once Human is to visit the farmland near Deadsville in the Dayton Wetlands region. Just go northwest from Deadsville to find the farmland. To be more precise, its coordinates are 5697, -5239 as shown in the map above.

Buzzy Bee Deviant near the crops

Approach the center of the farmlands and you should be able to spot the Buzzy Bee, happily buzzing around the crops. Do be warned, though, that you’re likely to find monsters while in the area. They should be easy enemies since it’s an early-game area, but be careful if you’re a low-level player.

Buzzy Bee Deviant up close

Once the coast is clear, just approach the Buzzy Bee Deviant and try to capture it. Remember, though, it might flee and disappear if you fail to catch it multiple times.

If it does disappear, or it simply didn’t spawn at all to begin, check out our guide on how to change worlds. Using Teleportation Towers to swap between different worlds gives you another chance at trying to hunt down Deviants without having to wait for them to respawn!

Nonetheless, the Buzzy Bee Deviant is pretty easy to get in Once Human. Capture the charming worker bee and place it inside an Isolated Securement Unit at your base. It will grant your base the “Deviated Gardening” ability, which increases the chances of your planted crops mutating. You’ll need mutated crops for certain recipes later in the game, so it’s a good idea to start hoarding them early!

By The Wind

To get the By The Wind Deviant in Once Human, you will need to go through the following steps:

  1. Obtain Frontier Pass – Hard by completing Easy Prime War
  2. Complete a Hard Prime War
  3. Get a Rating Score of at least 1000
  4. Open the Stardust’s Advent – Hard III Crate.

Keep in mind that the By The Wind Deviant is not guaranteed to be captured with this method. You only have a chance to get it.

Some players have reported you can also find this Deviant by exploring the map. However, we have not been able to find a reliable spot to capture them in Once Human. Also, you can capture the By The Wind Deviant in PvE Servers only.

Obtainment Method

Starting off, to get the By The Wind Deviant, you will need to join a PvE Server in Once Human. These Deviants are only available in PvE.

After that, you will want to complete a Prime War on the Easy difficulty. Prime Wars are events that appear as huge beacons which are hard to miss on PvE servers. We recommend you keep an eye out for them.

Once you beat the Prime War on Easy, you’ll receive the Frontier Pass – Hard.

Frontier Pass - Hard in Once Human.

With this Frontier Pass – Hard, you will now be able to participate in Prime Wars on the Hard difficulty. So, wait for this event to pop up as well, and make sure you have the Frontier Pass on hand.

After that, join the Hard Prime War in Once Human.

Hard Prime War in Once Human.

Now, your goal is to get a lot of points in this Prime War. You will want to get a Rating Score of at least 1000, so you can get the Gold Crate. The Gold Crate has a chance to drop the By The Wind Deviant.

There are a bunch of actions you can do to increase your Rating Score. Some of these are:

  • Offering Healing Support to Allies
  • Establishing Defenses, like Turrets
  • Damaging the Boss
  • Stripping the Shield.
Rating Score in Once Human.

Do these actions so that you can get a score of at least 1000 when you’ve completed the Prime War. This will allow you to get the Stardust’s Advent – Hard III Crate, which is the Gold Crate.

Now, all you need to do is to open this Chest in your Inventory. You will have other Chests as rewards too so you can open those as well.

We recommend using a Controller on the Gold Chest so that you can increase your chances of getting the Deviant!

Stardust's Advent Hard III Crate in Once Human.

The By The Wind Deviant will have a chance to appear in the Gold Crate. It is not guaranteed. After you open the Crate, check your Inventory for the Deviant.

If you do not get it, you will need to repeat the steps so that you can get a chance of getting it again.

By the Wind Deviant in Once Human.

How To Use By The Wind

Now that you have the By The Wind Deviant in Once Human, it’s time to see how you can use it. Make sure to put it in an Isolated Securement Unit at your base.

This Deviant is considered a Combat Deviant. You can see the Ability Details below. This Deviant can be used to create a Gravity Lift below you, which allows you to float in the air.

You can create this either by throwing it yourself, or via the Combat Assist mode of the Deviant. In addition, you get +20% Movement Speed, +2 Jump Speed and you become immune to fall damage and stagger.

By The Wind Deviant details in Once Human.

As you can see below, the Gravity Lift can be used to rise to a huge height. While this height is fixed, it gives you a lot of options in Combat. You can use it to evade enemies or to surprise them!

Gravity Lift in Once Human.

That’s everything you need to know about getting the By The Wind Deviant in Once Human. It can be quite a useful Deviant in combat. However, you will only be able to access it in PvE Servers.

Chefosaurus Rex

In order to get the Chefosaurus Rex deviant in Once Human, you either need to take a side quest named “There’s A Dragon Here” from Lowe or get into the Silo-Phi. We will talk about the quest first, then also show you the second method.

Chefosaurus Rex is a territorial-type deviant, so it will help you around your base. If you want to get a combat deviant, we advise you to see our guide on getting Shattered Maiden as well.

Once Human How To Get Chefosaurus Rex Deviant

This quest becomes available once you reach level 15 and arrive at Meyer’s Market. If this quest is unavailable, you may need to complete the Digby Boy quest from Lowe in Deadsville first.

According to Lowe, the There’s A Dragon Here quest will lead you to the old town of Sunbury to examine the presence of a dragon. Follow the quest marker until you reach the Vulture-occupied neighborhood. Be careful with human enemies who are armed with firearms, melee weapons, and explosives. Pack a lot of ammunition since you will ultimately find yourself in a gunfight.

Eventually, you will arrive at the coordinates 4814 and -6930.

Arriving at the kitchen to cook a couple of dishes for Chefosarous Rex.

When you are there, speak with the Chefosaurus Rex in the kitchen, and he will ask you to make a couple of dishes.

  • Dried Orange
  • Roasted Meat
  • Steak Combo

Once you cook every dish, you need to submit them to Chefosaurus Rex. After you submit the last dish, which is the steak combo, the Chefosaurus Rex will turn into a deviant and you will have the chance to secure it.

Cooking and submitting Steak Combo for Chefosaurus Rex in Once Human.

Alternate Method

There is one other method you can use to obtain the Chefosaurus Rex in the game. It is to clear Securement Silo Phi, a dungeon located northwest of Greywater Camp in the Iron River region. This Securement Silo is simple to complete on your own, however getting to the Chefosaurus requires visiting a secret place.

Go to the coordinates 5156, and -2972 to get to the entrance of the Silo – Phi. Remember that this area has a recommended level of 25.

Getting into the Silo-Phi to get Chefosarous Rex in Once Human.

Start the silo run as usual, then go until you reach the room where you must open the large double doors using a keycard. Instead, look for an elevator in the same room and proceed down.

This will result in a tunnel with a dimensional fissure at the end. Passing through the rift will transport you to a hospital. Enter the room at the end of the hallway to be teleported somewhere else.

Walking into the teleportation to find Chefosarous Rex in Once Human.

When you teleport to a new location, you will see the Chefosaurus Rex deviant right there. Just secure it and it will be yours.

In this location, there is also a chance of Pyro Dino spawning. So, you might find that deviant instead of Chefosaurus Rex, keep that in mind.

Getting Chefosarous Rex deviant in Once Human.

So, this is exactly how to get Chefosaurus Rex in Once Human! You can choose any method you want, cooking or battling enemies, it is all up to you. As you might guess from the name, this deviant will help you around your base. To use its benefits, just start cooking a dish, and you will see that it comes and helps you out.

Digby Boy

In Once Human, you can get Deviants as helpers in your game. They can help you with either fighting or crafting and you even get one after the tutorial. If you want to make things easier in the game, you’ll want to get them.

Here are the steps that we’ll be taking to get Digby Boy in Once Human:

  1. Go to the fields northwest of the Highland Area.
  2. Look for Silver Mining Nodes.
  3. Continuously mine Silver Nodes.
  4. Get lucky and get Digby Boy from the drops!

One of the Deviants you can get is Digby Boy, which is a creature that can help you with mining. He’ll mine at nods around your territory. So, if you want to have a passive way of getting ore then this deviant is for you.

To get started, you’ll need to go to the Highland area as shown below. Go to the northwest of the Rift Anchor there on the fields. You’ll find a bunch of mining nodes around there. Start mining those nodes since Digby Boy can drop from any mining node.

Once Human Highland Area
This area has a lot of mining nodes and it’s close to a teleportation tower!

If you want to increase your chances of getting him, then look for the Silver Mining Nodes as shown below. The Digby Boy Deviant has a higher chance of dropping when mining these nodes, so keep an eye out for them!

Once Human Silver Ore Nodes
Keep mining those silver mine nodes and you’ll get him in no time!

You’ll know you get the Digby Boy Deviant if it shows at the top of your screen that you’ve obtained it! That’s how you can get the Digby Boy Deviant in Once Human.

Disco Ball

Deviants come in many shapes and forms and one of them is a Disco Ball! You can have these Deviants become your little friends when you embark on an adventure through the unknown.

To find the Disco Ball deviant, you’ll need to complete three easy yet adventurous steps:

  1. Locate the moving house.
  2. Destroy the hands.
  3. Shoot the orbs (markers).

Doing these tasks will give you a chest where you can find the Disco Ball Deviant. Here’s a detailed walkthrough on how to achieve each of these steps.

Locate the Moving House

To get the Disco Ball deviant, you need to first locate the moving house. There are 4 possible locations where you can find this moving house.

  • Location 1: Blackfell (Recommended Level 45)
  • Location 2: Next to Greywater Camp
Location to find moving house in Once Human
  • Location 3: On the Hill Above Deadsville
Location to find moving house in Once Human
  • Location 4: Along the Coast
Location to find moving house in Once Human

This time, we found the House at the 4th location, which is along the coast. Start by teleporting to that location and making your way to the location marked on the map. (don’t forget to place a marker for yourself to help guide you to the place).

In the 4th location, you should see sand, palm trees, and small bodies of water before you reach the coast, massive rocks and the ocean. Somewhere along the coastline, you should find the moving house.

Moving house in Once Human

Destroy the Hands

This house is no normal house. When you go inside, you’ll need to hit the mysterious three hands sitting in the middle with orbs hovering over their palms.

Three hands in Once Human

When you do this, hands will start emerging from underneath the house.

Moving house in Once Human

After the cutscene, continue destroying the hands inside the house until they’re defeated and release the flying orbs, as a result.

Shoot the Markers

Next, you’ll need to shoot the 3 markers or orbs. You can even Press Q to help you find them easier. This is also similar to a fun little minigame where you’ll need to catch the little orbs that will be flying different directions.

Markers in Moving house in Once Human

When you finish destroying the markers, head back to the center of the house where you would find the hands. You’ll notice that the hands are holding a chest on top of them. You can go ahead and loot that chest.

Disco ball deviant drop in Once Human

The chest will contain the Disco ball Deviant that we’ve been looking for! Considering all the adventure you’ve had finding the house and hunting down the orbs, finding the deviant feels like a bonus!

Dr. Teddy

Deviants are known to be friendly little companions that you take on adventures with you. Before you befriend them, however, you need to find where they’re hiding. Dr. Teddy is tricky to find, but don’t worry, we’ll tell you exactly how to get to him.

You’ll need to do the following steps to get Dr. Teddy Deviant:

  1. Go to Securement Silo – Theta.
  2. Navigate the sewers.
  3. Clear the room.
  4. Defeat the Bossfight.

Since it can get a little complicated at some points, we’ve made a walkthrough to help you navigate and achieve the steps above.

Securement Silo – Theta

Start by heading to the Securement Silo – Theta in the Red Sands. The coordinates to the securement is: Red Sand (5537, -537).

Securement Silo - Theta in Once Human

When you head to the location, there will be a glowing door, enter the securement through that door. There will be a loading screen upon pressing Enter.

Securement Silo - Theta in Once Human

When you reach the inside of the securement, you’ll enter a rusty area with tanks and engines. Navigate your way through the Dungeon. Start by going through the door that you’ll see straight ahead. There is an A painted right next to the door to help you identify it.

Securement Silo - Theta in Once Human

From there, turn left and jump down twice until you reach the ground. Once you’re at the bottom. There should be an opening with a bricked border around it.

Sewers in Securement Silo - Theta in Once Human

Navigate the Sewers

Enter the location and then turn left toward the sewage system. Keep going forward along the path and ensure to defeat any infected coming in your way.

Sewers in Securement Silo - Theta in Once Human

When you reach the option to make a turn, don’t make that turn and instead keep going straight.

Sewers in Securement Silo - Theta in Once Human

Going forward, you should see a black ulcer and trash cans. Destroy the Black Ulcer before it harms you. Similarly, defeat any threat that’s headed your way. When you encounter a pile of zombies and a crossing, you’ll see an option to go left, right and forward. Over here, go left.

Sewers in Securement Silo - Theta in Once Human

During the next turn, keep going straight and go up the set of stairs that’s on the right side to exit the sewers.

Exiting sewers in Securement Silo - Theta in Once Human

NOTE: You can also take other turns to look for more loot because these sewers are filled with loot. The area is not exactly a maze, and you can easily find your way out since the wrong ways are typically obvious dead-ends. This gives you the liberty to explore the sewers and find some loot for yourself.

Clear the Room

When you enter the room at the top, you’ll see that it’s filled with infected zombies, and other threats. You need to clear the room and ensure that all pods are destroyed at all costs to continue.

Infected area in Securement Silo - Theta in Once Human

Killing the pods is imperative because when you defeat them, they open the doors to the side boss that you’ll need to also defeat in order to acquire the Dr. Teddy Deviant.

Don’t forget to climb up the ladders for some more loot! Once the room is cleared head back down to your original position and go over to the room with the caged door and a cloth wrung over it.

Boss Fight

This will lead us to the boss that drops the Dr. Teddy Deviant. In the same room, toward your right, you should find a statue. Interacting with the statue will trigger a boss fight. So, before you do interact, ensure that you’re equipped with all of the necessary items and gear in order to proceed ahead and defeat the boss.

Now, before the boss emerges, you’ll need to complete a quick puzzle. When you interact with the statue, quickly run to the room in the opposite end of the tunnel with the gray atmospheric vibe.

Securement Silo - Theta in Once Human

Once you enter the area, you’ll see six statues. You’ll need to rotate these statues a certain number of times. It’s not the same rotation times for every statue so we’ll tell you which one needs to be rotated how many times.

Consider the image below to recognize the label provided in the form of a number. And then, compare it with how many times you’ll need to turn that specific statue (which is also shown in the image below).

  • 1st Statue: Two times
  • 2nd Statue: Three times
  • 3rd statue: Two times
  • 4th Statue: Three times
  • 5th statue: Two times
  • 6th statue: None

After this, the boss will emerge from the water. It’s time to use your skills and strategies to defeat the boss.

Boss fight in Securement Silo - Theta in Once Human

When you defeat the boss, it’s time to collect all of your rewards loot and finally the Dr. Teddy Deviant as reward for all of your hard work!

Dr. Teddy Deviant in Securement Silo - Theta in Once Human

When you wish to exit the dungeon, you’ll have to interact with the same initial statue once again. Along the way, you’ll also encounter another boss fight and many chances to encounter some more loot so heads up.

Exiting the dungeon is a fun challenge itself. Let us know in the comments if the boss to acquire Dr. Teddy was easy to defeat for you!

Electric Eel

Electric Eel Deviant fished

The Electric Eel Deviant is only obtainable through fishing currently. That means that you will need to have a Fishing Rod as well as Bait to be able to get it. You can get them as follows:

  • Fishing Rod – Can be crafted at any Supplies Workbench from the start of the game. Requires 20 Logs and 10 Copper Ingots. You get Logs from chopping down trees and Copper Ingots by using the Furnace to melt down Copper Ore found by mining.
  • Bait – There are multiple types of bait, but any of them work for the Electric Eel Deviant. We recommend using Dough Fish Bait since you can craft it using 1 Corn at the Supplies Workbench. Alternatively, you can buy it from the vendor at Meyer’s Market Dock.

When you have all of that, you just need to start fishing! You have a random chance of obtaining the Electric Eel Deviant anytime you fish. There doesn’t seem to be a spot where it’s particularly common either, sadly, so there’s no specific way to get it fast in Once Human.

Best Fishing Spots for Electric Eel Deviant

Meyer's Market Dock

However, we do know of two spots that are easy to reach and work well for most players. The first is the previously mentioned Meyer’s Market Dock, shown above. It’s a nice safe spot, plus you can buy more Bait from the nearby vendor anytime you need to.

Broken Delta Southern Beach

The second spot we recommend is the beach in the southern part of the Broken Delta region, seen above. You’re more likely to encounter enemies going there, but some players have better luck fishing the Electric Eel Deviant there.

Either way, all you have to do is to keep fishing. You should get the Electric Eel Deviant quite fast in Once Human, usually taking just around 10 minutes or so of fishing for most players.

Enchanting Void

I won’t sugarcoat this for you, the Enchanting Void can either be an incredibly dull and long grind, or it can take you a single run to get. Basically, you will have to go through the optional seepage zone within the Securement Silo – Theta dungeon.

This can be found to the north of the Blackfell Oil Fields, and since it’s marked on your map, you should be able to find it without issue. There is also a teleportation tower close to it, making it easy to go back to if you need to return to your base.

Once Human map showing where the theta silo is

Go through the first few hallways until you reach a room where you have to break three nest sacs in the center. After that, go through the now-open door with the rotatable statue.

Rotate the statue and proceed through the seepage zone until you find yourself in a damp area with six more statues that you can shift around. The solution is always the same, but basically, all you need to do is copy the orientation of the statues in the reflection on the water.

If you are still a bit confused, we have a more detailed guide specifically all about solving the statue puzzle in Theta that should help you out with this. The boss in this optional room is just a beefier version of an elite enemy I’m sure you’ve encountered already, so it’s nothing special.

When it dies, it has an unknown chance of dropping the Enchanting Void deviant right beside its treasure chest. If it isn’t there, you will have to repeat the dungeon.

Bonus Tip – Speedrunning the Theta Silo

For the purpose of this guide, I started speedrunning through the dungeon a total of nine times before it showed up. Basically, get yourself some movement speed buffs (in my case, a melee weapon calibration + food) and ignore all the enemies.

Quickly break the three nest sacs and enter the seepage zone. Turn all the statues in the correct orientation (again, the solution is always the same) and burst down the boss.

If the Enchanting Void deviant does not show up, press escape and click on the “Exit Dungeon” button on the bottom left corner. Take the minimum loot from the chest if you want before exiting, as that’s still some spare change and stardust source.

Just repeat this entire process until you get the darn cat to show up. Like I said above, it took me nine tries of doing this, which only amounted to maybe around 15 to 20 minutes of pure focus.

my Once Human character finally getting the enchanting void drop

What Does the Enchanting Void Do?

The Enchanting Void is a combat deviation, which means you’ll have to sync it to your cradle in order to actually use it. It has two very different abilities, and here is a brief summary of them:

  • Midnight Maul – Upon activating this ability, you can throw the Enchanting Void at a target location, where it will transform into a panther. For a limited time, it will attack nearby enemies and give them a debuff that increases how much melee damage they take.
  • Combat Assist – Summons the Enchanting Void as a hovering companion, granting the user bonus movement speed while holding a melee weapon. You will also heal 10% max health whenever you hit an enemy with melee strikes.

In my opinion, the panther form is quite useless as the damage it deals is pretty laughable, and the debuff may as well not exist even if you are a melee user. It cannot hit flying enemies too, but it will keep trying to swing at the air anyway if the panther decides to aggro one.

Combat Assist, on the other hand, has a few niche uses for people who want to speed through stuff. Ironically, it would have been a useful buff to have while rushing through the dungeon that drops it.

my Once Human character summoning the panther

And that is pretty much everything that you need to know in order to get the Enchanting Void Deviant, AKA the elusive little cat in the game.

Extradimensional Cat

The Extradimensional Cat Deviant can be found in multiple locations in Once Human. So, if you’ve been playing the game a while, it is likely you might have stumbled upon it too.

However, we’ll be looking at some key locations where they are often spotted. Keep in mind that you might not sometimes find them as they’re a very popular Deviant. So other players on the Server might have caught one.

For these cases, we’ll also show you a solution where you can find the Extradimensional Cat.

Location #1 – Deadsville

The first location where most players come across an Extradimensional Cat Deviant is Deadsville. The location for this area is shown on the Once Human map below.

Deadsville on map in Once Human.

There is a Teleporter right there as well which will allow you to conveniently get there.

When you reach Deadsville, look towards the house in the middle. You want to go inside this house. Often, you will even be able to spot the Extradimensional Cat Deviant in the windows.

Deadsville house in Once Human.

Inside the house, make sure to check every room. This means you should also head upstairs. Usually, you’ll find it in the room upstairs right next to the window.

Extradimensional Cat Deviant in house in Once Human.

In other cases, the Extradimensional Cat Deviant will either be behind the house, at the back of the top floor, on the top roof. Make sure to check all of these locations.

Extradimensional Cat Deviant at the back of house in Once Human.

If you still can’t find it, it means that someone else in the Server likely got to it. Not to worry, however, as there is a way to increase your chances.

Return to the front of the house and interact with the Teleportation Tower there. Over here, simply switch to any other world. After you do so, check the spot again and you should be able to find one.

Location #2 – Greywater Camp

The next location where you can find Extradimensional Cat Deviants is at the Greywater Camp. The location for it is shown on the Once Human map below.

Greywater Camp on map in Once Human.

When you reach this area, make your way to the Teleportation Tower in this area. Here, you’ll see some small structures and houses. Look around this area, including inside the buildings. You should be able to find the Extradimensional Cat floating around here.

Greywater building in Once Human.

Keep in mind that some players have found the cat here to be of a higher level. This can reduce their chances of catching it. This is why we recommend getting Level 3 Gloves to increase your chances.

Extradimensional cat in Greywater house in Once Human.

If you do not find the Extradimensional Cat Deviant here, you’ll need to Change Worlds, as you did before. Make your way to the Teleportation Tower there and Switch World.

Now, repeat the process and you should be able to find one.

Switching world at Greywater Tower in Once Human.

Location #3 – Meyer’s Market

Another location where players have reportedly found Extradimensional Cat Deviants is in Meyer’s Market. They have supposedly had a better chance of catching it due to the potentially lower level ones here.

We have an approximate location for where you can find it on the Once Human map below. Simply explore the area and switch worlds periodically. You should be able to find the Deviant’s location here.

Meyer's Market on map in Once Human.

How To Use Extradimensional Cat

Lastly, we’ll briefly touch on how you can actually use the Extradimensional Cat Deviant in Once Human. After you capture it, you’ll be able to keep it on your base.

The Extradimensional Cat accompanies you when you go to sleep on your base. This gives you an energy boost, which enables you to be fully energetic when you wake up.

Besides that, it also serves as a cute pet that can interact with you and keep your territory lively!

Extradimensional Cat Ability Details in Once Human.

That’s everything you need to know about where to find the Extradimensional Cat Deviant in Once Human. By going through all the locations we mentioned, you should be able to find quite a few of them. Hopefully, you’ll have good luck capturing them too!

Festering Gel

To get the Festering Gel Deviant, you’ll actually need to get a task that is tied to the main story of Once Human. It also involves a boss fight, so bring plenty of ammo with you.

Here are the steps you need to follow to get the Festering Gel Deviant in Once Human:

  1. Get the Festering Gel Deviant task after the Welcome Back story quest
  2. Go to the Monolith of Greed Location
  3. Interact with Rift Beacon
  4. Start the Ravenous Hunter Boss Fight and beat it
  5. Capture the Festering Gel Deviant at the end.

Festering Gel Deviant Obtainment Method

Starting off, you’ll want to progress through the main story of Once Human. Do so all the way until you beat the Welcome Back story mission.

Once you do so, you should get a task where you’ll need to capture the Festering Gel Deviant. Even if you don’t, just make sure to complete the story mission we mentioned.

After that, head to the Monolith of Greed. You can find the location on the Once Human map below.

Monolith of Greed in Once Human.

When you reach this area, make your way to the Rift Beacon there. Interact with it to open up the boss menu.

Rift Beacon in Once Human.

Here, you want to select the Ravenous Hunter boss fight. Make sure to bring plenty of ammo for this fight as you’ll be using it a lot. Also, make sure your level requirements will allow you to fight it comfortably.

Ravenous Hunter boss in Once Human.

Your goal will be to beat the Ravenous Hunter boss. The boss fight is pretty simple. All you need to do is unload your bullets into it until it becomes immune.

After that, destroy the two orbs on each side to remove its immunity. Keep repeating the steps until you have killed the boss.

Fighting Ravenous Hunter in Once Human.

When the boss is dead, the Festering Gel Deviant should appear there, ready for you to capture. It is possible that the Deviant may have only a chance to appear there, but we cannot confirm this.

Make sure to place this Deviant in an Isolated Securement Unit at your base after you have captured it.

Capturing Festering Gel in Once Human.

How To Use Festering Gel

Now that you have the Festering Gel Deviant, we’ll briefly look at what it does in Once Human. Essentially, it is a Deviant that you’ll want to use in Combat.

It is considered one of the best Deviants currently in the game. This is because this Deviant can not only heal you and protect you, but also heals your Sanity.

Additionally, it also provides two Combat options. They are the following:

  • Build Fortification
    • The Deviant will form a barrier that you can hide behind
    • It will heal you and your Sanity when you are near it
  • Flawless Fortification
    • You can pick up the Deviant and throw it at enemies to knock them back
    • It forms a Fortification where it drops.

As you can see, this Deviant can not only be used to heal and protect you, but to also push other enemies away!

Festering Gel combat options in Once Human.

That’s everything you need to know about how you can get the Festering Gel Deviant in Once Human. Since it’s considered an S Tier Deviant, we strongly suggest you get your hands on it. Be sure to keep an eye on your level when you go for the boss fight too.

Fetch-A-Lot Bunny

Fetch-A-Lot Bunny Location

The Fetch-A-Lot Bunny, similar to other Deviant types, is a somewhat random occurrence. You have a chance to get one anytime you chop large trees, so they’re extremely easy to get despite their randomness.

The one tree with the highest Fetch-A-Lot Bunny drop chance seems to be a unique Bald Cypress to the west of Meyer’s Market. Its location is marked on the map above and its coordinates are at around 5353, -6536 in the Broken Delta region.

Bald Cypress tree

Once you approach the location, you should see a massive Bald Cypress tree. We really do mean massive, by the way, it probably reaches the clouds! Walk up to the tree and use any Axe you have to start chopping it down.

As we mentioned before, you’re extremely likely to get a Fetch-A-Lot Bunny Deviant with every chop you land on this tree. In fact, most players get at least two or three Fetch-A-Lot Bunnies before they finish chopping down the tree.

Fetch-A-Lot Bunny Secured

If you get unlucky, however, you’ll have to wait for the tree to respawn. You can try cutting down the smaller trees in the area, of course, but they’re less likely to get you the Deviant you want. Personally, we recommend using a Teleportation Tower to change worlds. It will give you another chance to get the Fetch-A-Lot Bunny Deviant without waiting for the Blad Cypress to respawn in your world!

Either way, the Fetch-A-Lot Bunny is one of the easiest Deviant types to get in Once Human. Especially now that you know the best spot for it! Place it within an Isolated Securement Unit in your base and it will automatically gather from nearby shrubs for you. Its name really doesn’t lie!

Flame Essence

The Flame Essence deviation has at least one known static spawn in the map, and it can be found in the Sutherland Chemical Plant. If you haven’t been there yet, we have a full exploration guide for the Sutherland Chemical Plant that can help you out.

Check the map and pin below to see the exact location you need to go to. Attached to it is my character aiming at the exact spot that you have to head to as well, which is the conveyer belt leading to the second floor.

my Once Human character looking at the pinned location in the map

Once you climb up the conveyer belt, you should see the Flame Essence deviant just floating there waiting to be claimed. Simply walk up and start trying to capture it!

I’m not sure if it can spawn here at a higher level, so you’ll have to experiment on your own. While writing this, I captured two of them in the same spot and they were both a measly level 1.

Also, just an added tip, be careful when approaching the facility rom the north. There is a Glutton spawn along the way, and if you’re still a low level player, you’ll need some good weapons to deal with it quickly.

my Once Human character capturing a flame essence

What Does the Flame Essence Do?

Once placed in a securement unit, a Flame Essence will passively improve the efficiency of your active furnaces, as long as it has any energy left. Whenever it’s working, you’ll see it sitting on top of whichever furnace is being used at the moment.

If you want to boost the efficiency of multiple furnaces, simply get more Flame Essences and put them in securement units. Take note that, if your server is still in phase 1, you probably only have a maximum of ten securement units that you can have at once.

If you’re stocking up on ingots, consider allotting one of your units for a single Flame Essence. With at least one electric furnace, you should be able to bang out hundreds of ingots quickly due to the fact that you are essentially boosting two processes at once.

my Once Human character utilizing the flame essence

And that is pretty much everything you need to know about the Flame Essence deviant in the game.

Frog the Leaper

I’m going to make this really simple and say that there are basically multiple spawn points where you can potentially find Frog the Leaper. We’ll be covering some of the easier spots, since others are in level 50+ zones or aren’t close to any teleports.

The kicker is that we have absolutely no information as to how often it can spawn and if it can appear at all locations at the same time. Because of this, you’ll just have to check the possible spawn points from time to time.

I can warn you right now that you are definitely not guaranteed to find it even if you check all locations, since other people might be gunning for it too. At worst, you can find one at the Blackheart Region (level 52). Here are some of the possible spawns:

Spawn Point #1 – Broken Delta Lily Pad Puzzle

First up, head to the coordinates (4754, -6328) just northwest of the Sutherland Chemical Plant Rift Anchor. There, you will find a lily pad puzzle (basically just jump on all of them) that will reward you with a weapon attachment.

Near these lily pads, there is a possible spawn location for the Frog the Leaper deviant. If there isn’t any floating around, that means it’s either been taken recently or it just didn’t spawn there, period.

Once Human map with the broken delta spot marked

Spawn Point #2 – Iron River Lily Pad Puzzle

Next, you can check around the coordinates (6136, -3334), which is the large pond just south of the East Blackfell Junction. Again, you will find another lily pad puzzle here that works the same way as the other one.

There are several whispers left by other players here that confirm that this is a spawn point for the Frog the Leaper deviant. If it isn’t there, tough luck. Check another spot.

Once Human map with the iron river spawn point marked

Spawn Point #3 – Iron River, Near Mirage Monolith

Finally, one easy spot to check is a lake directly to the east of the Mirage Monolith at coordinates (7014, -2580). This spot is particularly easy to check as it is close to a teleportation tower, assuming you have unlocked it.

Unlike the other entries here, there is no lily pad puzzle in this location, so there is no need to do anything extra for some free stuff. Simply check if it’s there.

Once Human map with the other iron river spot marked

BONUS Spawn Point – Blackheart Region

If you are already a decently high level and have unlocked the Forsaken Monolith teleportation tower, check out the coordinates (1796, -701) just west of the long bridge leading out of that Rosetta base.

In the rivers below, you will find a lily pad puzzle that will grant you a legendary rifle magazine. This is also a potential spawn point for the Frog the Leaper deviant, though like the other spots, it is not guaranteed to be there.

Once Human blackheart region lily pad puzzle spot + spawn point for frog the leaper

Frog the Leaper – What Does It Do?

When placed in an isolated securement unit, Frog the Leaper will passively produce two items, which are the following:

  • Silver Spring – This is a material used to craft the Spring Legs whim, which is unlocked while this deviant is active.
  • Universal Bait – Basically free fishing bait that you can claim from it every now and then.

Spring Legs can be crafted from any supplies workbench, and what it does is increase your jump height at the cost of 15 stamina every time you leap. Combined with the Jump Booster specialization item, you can potentially jump up to ridiculous heights.

Place its unit near a toy and connect it to a power source in order to drastically speed up its recovery time and allow it to produce these items nonstop.

Once Human frog the leaper inside an isolated securement unit

And that is basically everything you need to know about the Frog The Leaper deviant, which can be a bit of a pain to find if you’re unlucky.

Growshroom

There are two possible ways for you to get Growshroom Deviant in Once Human. These are:

  • Random chance from picking mushrooms up.
  • Growing mushrooms in your base.

We are going to talk about each method in detail in the remainder of this guide.

Picking up mushrooms to get Growshroom in Once Human.

Picking Mushrooms Up

For this method, all you need to do is pick mushrooms around the map and hope to get the deviant. However, of course, there are a couple of good locations you can visit to find mushroom-picking areas.

  • High Banks: This location is pretty good because there are teleporters close to it. (5293, and -5972)
  • Waterfall Plaza: This place has a lot of mushrooms you can pick up. (Remember to change the worlds to increase the chance of spawning)
  • A couple of locations close to these areas are: 5619, and -6112, 5385, and -6085, 5599, and -6085.
Best mushroom picking locations in Once Human.

Growing Up Mushrooms

If you do not want to go mushroom hunting, you can also grow mushrooms in your base. This method has a chance to spawn the Growshroom Deviant as well. However, we think that the first one might be a little faster than this one.

Planting mushrooms in the base to get Growshroom deviant in Once Human.

This is basically how to get Growshroom Deviant in Once Human. Whichever option you choose, you will need a little bit of luck to get it quickly.

Grumpy Bulb

There is no guaranteed method of obtaining Grumpy Bulb Deviants in Once Human. There is basically a chance for them to grow from Onion Seeds.

We’ll go through the entire process of how you can find these seeds and grow. Additionally, we’ll also show you how you can speed up the growing process.

Purchase Onion Seeds

Starting off, you’ll need to actually obtain Onion Seeds. You can come across Onion Seeds when playing Once Human, but this will depend on your luck.

We’ll be trying to grow these Onion Seeds into Grumpy Bulb Deviants.

As a result, we recommend that you purchase Onion Seeds in Once Human. You can find these Onion Seeds at a specific Vendor.

The area that you want to head to is Tall Grass Inn. We’ve marked the exact location of the Vendor in the map below.

Vendor location at Tall Grass Inn in Once Human.

When you arrive at Tall Grass Inn, you’ll need to go all the way to the top. Be sure to use the stairs and the path that goes all the way up. Eventually, you’ll come across the following building.

Vendor building in Once Human.

Go inside this building and you’ll find an NPC by the name of Emma Porter.

Emma Porter NPC in Once Human.

Interact with her and purchase the Onion Seeds from her. Keep in mind that you can only purchase 3 Onion Seeds from her per week in Once Human.

Purchasing Onion Seeds in Once Human.

Plant Onion Seeds

After you’ve gotten the Onion Seeds, head back to your base territory on Once Human. Now you’ll need to plant all of the Onion Seeds that you have. So, make sure that you have already built some Planters at your base.

We also recommend that you use Fertilizer or Mutated Fertilizer when you’re planting the Onions. Fertilizers will help increase the chances of you growing a Grumpy Bulb Deviant. You can make Fertilizer at the Compost Bin.

You can learn the Mutation Boost for Fertilizers from the Supply Bench. If you do not have the Supply Bench yet, be sure to get it from the Memetics tech tree.

Once everything is planted, you’ll need to wait for your plants to grow. So take care of them and be sure to set up an irrigation system.

There is also a Deviant you can use to water your Planters without setting up this system. Check out our How To Get Rain Man Deviant Guide. You can use this Deviant for the Planters where you’ve set up the Onions.

Planting Onion Seeds in Once Human.

After the Onions have grown, take a look there. The Grumpy Bulb Deviant might have grown among the Onions.

Again, the appearance of the Grumpy Bulb Deviant among the onions will depend completely on luck. So, you’ll need to keep growing Onions until the Deviant appears among them.

Then you can capture it and keep it in an Isolated Securement Unit.

Grumpy Bulb Deviant in Once Human.

How To Use Grumpy Bulb

Once you get the Grumpy Bulb Deviant, it’s time to see how you can use it in Once Human. The description for this Deviant can give you an idea.

In essence, you can use this Deviant in Combat by disrupting enemy attacks and making them attack each other. It can also deal some AoE Damage.

Grumpy Bulb Description in Once Human.

The Grumpy Bulb Deviant provides two options in Combat when you use it in Once Human:

  • Garlicify
    • The player can throw the Grumpy Bulb Deviant
    • Deals AoE DMG when it hits
    • Also disrupts the aggro of enemies and makes them attack each other for 10s
  • Autonomous Attack
    • In this mode, the Grumpy Bulb Deviant cannot move
    • Continuously attracts the aggro of nearby enemies

So, you have a lot of options in Combat when using this Deviant!

That’s everything you need to know about getting the Grumpy Bulb Deviant in Once Human. If you’ve been playing the game for a while, we also recommend you check your Inventory. You might already have some of the Onion Seeds that you need!

H37

H37 deviant is an explorer-type deviant. This means that it will go explore other areas for you and bring you goodies. The higher the deviant’s grade, the better goodies you will get.

You can get the H37 Deviant either through completing a questline named Fragments of Memory or Securement Silo Psi. In this guide, we are going to talk about each method so that you can choose whichever you want.

Once Human How To Get H37 Deviant

Fragments of Memory Questline

First of all, like every other side quest in Once Human, you need to take this quest to activate it. In order to do this, go to the Greywater area and talk to H37. Choose the dialogue options below:

  • Find out more about H37.
  • Glad to see you got back safely.
  • Major repairs? What happened?
  • Sure.
First method: Getting a quest from H37 in Once Human.

After your conversation with H37 is over, you will have the objective: Go to Rippleby and search for clues relating to H37’s memory. Open your map to see the location you need to go to. You can also see it in the picture below.

First method: Arriving at the location to find notes of H37.

At this location, you are going to find three separate notes from H37’s memory. After collecting each one of them, you can go back to H37, it will be waiting for you at the exact location you interacted with earlier.

H37's past memory notes in Once Human.

Then, H37 will make you watch a video from the past. After it is done, summon V and choose the option “Talk to V about H37’s video“. Then, you will get the H37 deviant.

Summoning V to talk about H37 in Once Human.

Securement Silo Psi

There is more than one location you can go to for this method. In this guide, we will talk about the one located at the coordinates 126, and -3661.

Before you get into the Securement Silo, you need to bring a stun baton with you. If you do not have one, you can get it from the mysterious chest in Holt Town.

Slo Psi securement in Once Human.

Once you are inside, go straight and fall down. Then, get through the door and follow the path. You will climb stairs. Just defeat the enemies like usual, and when you arrive at the location below, go straight. There, you will see an elite. Kill it to get an access card.

Slo Psi securement in Once Human.

The name of the access card is Rosetta V3 Access Card. You need to make sure to get this one.

Getting the access card for H37 in Once Human.

Then, climb the stairs back and use the access card on the door below. Once inside, go through the last door on the right in that room. You will find yourself in a room named Seepage Zone. Defeat every enemy there and then use your stun baton to hit the power cores.

Using the access card to get into the deviant room in Once Human.

When you hit every power core, a mutated deviant boss will appear in the room. As soon as the boss is dead, the deviant will appear. If it does not, you might need to repeat the steps until it appears in the room.

H37 Deviant in Once Human.

So, this is how to get H37 deviant in Once Human. Feel free to choose whichever method you want to use, but do not miss the chance of getting this incredible deviant!

Harveseed

You can obtain this deviant by defeating the Treant boss in the Gaia Cliff Monolith. In order to get to this location, head to the coordinates 4451, and -5949. This location has a recommended level of 20. So, make sure that you are ready for that before heading there.

If you do not have strong gear for this one, make sure that you have plenty of ammo and health shots.

Defeating the Treant boss in normal mode in Once Human.

The only thing you need to do to get the Harveseed deviant is to defeat this boss. We advise you to be very careful and bring a friend of yours if it is possible. When you kill Treant, the deviant will pop up.

This is how to get Harveseed Deviant in Once Human. After getting it, you can use its amazing capabilities and use it to block lethal damage.

Hug In A Bowl

In order to get the Hug in a Bowl deviant in Once Human, you either need to craft the recipe or you need to find it. However, you need to find a series of ingredients to craft it as well. So, unlucky for you, there is no easy way to get this deviant. We are going to go over both strategies and let you decide which one works best for you.

Hug in a Bowl deviant shown in the inventory in Once Human.

Locating the Hug in a Bowl Deviant

The Hug in a Bowl deviant is one of the rare drops in the game. Therefore, you might need to change the world a couple of times until you finally see it. Right now, there are two locations where you can find this deviant. These are:

  • On a road in Iron River (map coordinates 4937, -3907)
  • Under a bridge in Broken Delta (map coordinates 5771, -6056)

However, it looks like there is a problem with the spawn, and you might not find the deviant in this location. Yet, you are free to check it out, if you cannot find it even after changing the world, try our next method.

Securing the Hug in a Bowl deviant in Once Human.

Crafting Hug in a Bowl Deviant

As we mentioned, you might not be able to find the deviant in the location we have mentioned because of existing errors in the game. But, this method is guaranteed, so you do not have to worry about it. We will get you that deviant!

For this method, you need to craft a recipe in your base. While doing that, you can get help from Chefosaurus Rex Deviant. In order to get the recipe, you need to open your Memetics screen and unlock the Electric Stoves memetic. Doing this will unlock the recipe for you.

Unlocking the electric stoves memetic to get the hug in a bowl recipe in Once Human.

In order to craft the Hug in a Bowl recipe, you will need a couple of ingredients ready. You might already have a couple of these ingredients, but we are still going to talk about how to acquire each of these ingredients just in case. Now let’s take a look at all the ingredients.

  • Salt (1): This ingredient is the easiest one to get. All you need to do is head to the sea and collect some seawater. Then, you will be able to use the sea salt for your recipes.
  • Peppercorn (1): Head to Blackfell and interact with Lacey to purchase peppercorn seeds. You can purchase them for 50 Energy Links. Try to get as much as you can as they are useful for many recipes in the game, and you will need to make more than one Hug in a Bowl until you get a deviant.
  • Wheat (2): For this one, you will need to go to Citrus County. Teleport to Deadsville to get there more easily. Then, head to the coordinates 5704, -5354. In this area, you are going to find a lot of wheat. Collect them as much as you want.
  • Pork (1): Head to the north of Tall Grass Inn, the coordinates you need to go are 2194, -3523. In this location, you are going to see boars around. Simply take the pork from them. Remember to change the world if you need more.
  • Cabbage (1): For cabbages, head to Meyer’s Market. Once you are there, take a look at the plantation and you will see that cabbages are growing there. You can simply go to them and collect them. If you do not see cabbages there, try to change the world and see if they appear. It will be pretty easy since there is a teleportation tower just right there.
Hug in a bowl recipe ingredients in Once Human.

After collecting all the ingredients, you can head back to your base to craft your Hug in a Bowl. Yet, you will need one more ingredient, but it is not actually different than the ones we mentioned. You will need to have a deviated peppercorn. In order to get one, go to your supplies workbench and craft fertilizer mutation boost. Doing this will make it easier to have a deviated crop.

If the fertilizer is not unlocked for you, you can open your memetics, find the Fertilizer II, and unlock it. After planting the peppercorns with the fertilizer, you can also use Buzzy Bee Deviant to help you grow them.

Planting peppercorn seeds with fertilizer to make it deviated peppercorn in Once Human.

Now that you have all the ingredients, head to your kitchen set and start crafting Hug in a Bowl. You will need to craft more than one to get the deviant. We are not sure how many tries you need to do, but we believe it is not going to take you that long.

Cooking Hug in a Bowl in Once Human.

How to Use Hug in a Bowl Deviant

The Hug in a Bowl deviant is a gadget-type deviant. Upon acquiring it and putting in the Isolated Securement Silo, it will make you Homestyles Noodles. You can collect these noodles and eat them to recover sanity.

In order to boost the mood and the performance of your deviant, you can adjust their securement environment. Every deviant in the game likes certain things to be around them. For Hug in a Bowl deviant, you need to:

  • Put crops nearby the Isolated Securement Silo.
  • Plant flowers nearby the Isolated Securement Silo.

Doing this will increase the mood of the deviant and give it a direct performance boost.

Getting Homestyle Noodles from Hug in a Bowl deviant in Once Human.

So, this is how to get Hug in a Bowl deviant in Once Human. Your sanity is one of the most important things that directly affects your health in the game, so it is a great advantage to have a deviant that always makes you some noodles to increase it.

Lethal Rabbit

Simply put, the Lethal Rabbit deviant can be acquired pretty much anywhere in the map. All you need to do is kill and skin wild rabbits. You have an unknown chance of getting the Lethal Rabbit after skinning a rabbit.

To increase your chances of finding one, you’ll need to find a spot where a lot of them respawn. Luckily for you, my group is stationed near such a location, so I’ve got a recommendation for you.

If your server is still in phase 1 (like ours is, at least until 2 days after this is posted), you can set up between the border of Iron River and Red Sands, the latter of which you cannot access without getting instantly killed by the game.

Check the map image below to see exactly where I mean. Basically, the areas beside this road and the small islands on the water adjacent to Red Sands has a ton of rabbit spawns, and they typically respawn by the time you’ve looped around everything.

Once Human map showing my group's base locations and the ideal rabbit hunting region

If you’re going to use this spot, make sure to have a decent weapon as there are also corrupted wolves and normal ones that spawn along the road. They occasionally kill rabbits too, which you can still skin.

Keep an eye on the top part of your screen whenever you skin a rabbit. As this is completely random, it can take you upwards to 20+ kills before you get your first Lethal Rabbit. It took me 27 kills to get one as an example for this guide.

my Once Human character receiving a lethal rabbit

What Does the Lethal Rabbit Do?

Once you have stored the Lethal Rabbit inside an isolated securement unit, it will passively gather various animal resources, such as meat and hide.

If you’re too lazy to walk out and do some hunting, this little guy will give you a passable amount of supplies every now and then!

To boost its recovery speed, put the unit under a red light and have a fridge nearby. You could also connect it to a power source, but at this point, where we mostly only have solar panels, this is not advised due to the many other better uses for electricity (and limited generator slots).

my Once Human character inserting a lethal rabbit in a unit

And that is pretty much everything you need to know in order to get a Lethal Rabbit, as well as a quick overview of what it can do and how you can speed up its recovery.

Logging Beaver & Extradimensional Cat

Meyer's Market Location

Both the Logging Beaver and Extradimensional Cat Deviant types can be found at Meyer’s Market in Once Human. They both have a random chance to spawn extremely close to each other, so you can get 2 for 1 if you’re lucky!

What’s more, the Meyer’s Market encampment has a Teleportation Tower. You can use it to change worlds, which has a chance of respawning either Deviant every time you switch worlds.

Extradimensional Cat Deviant Step 1

Once you reach Meyer’s Market and activate the Teleportation Tower, look for a flight of stairs going up.

Extradimensional Cat Deviant Step 2

Go up the stairs and you’ll see some small living quarters. If you’re lucky, you’ll also see the Extradimensional Cat Deviant here, as shown in the image above. This is its spawn location, so make note of it! If it’s not there, use the Teleportation Tower to switch to another world and try again.

Logging Beaver Deviant Step 1

As for the Logging Beaver Deviant, you’ll need to leave Meyer’s Market and go south to reach a dock.

Logging Beaver Deviant Step 2

Check the right side of the dock and you should spot the Logging Beaver Deviant floating in the air. Just like with the Extradimensional Cat, use the Teleportation Tower to change worlds if it didn’t spawn.

Logging Beaver Deviant Step 3

With a little bit of luck and patience, you’ll be able to get both the Logging Beaver and Extradimensional Cat Deviant types extremely fast in Once Human.

Lonewolf’s Whisper

This deviant draws enemy aggro, creates a clone of itself when its target dies, and increases the weapon damage received by its target. Thus, we can say that it is a good one for sure. In order to get it, you need to defeat the Shadow Hound Boss.

So, head to the Monolith of Thirst, and challenge the Shadow Hound Boss in normal mode. The coordinates you need to go to are 1653 and -4736.

Challenging Shadow Hound Boss to get Lonewolf's Whisper Deviant in Once Human.

The problem with this boss is that it is actually pretty strong and it is a Level 40 boss. If you do not have good gear, make sure that you have a lot of ammo and health shots. You might also consider bringing a friend with you.

After you fight the Shadow Hound boss for a while, it will turn itself immune to any direct damage. When this happens, make sure to shoot the orbs around its body. If it gets too close to you, walk to the teleportation points to go to the other side of the area.

Defeating Shadow Hound Boss to get Lonewolf's Whisper Deviant in Once Human.

Once you manage to take Shadow Hound down, the deviant will pop up and you will have a chance to secure it. This is basically all you have to do, and it is how to get the Lonewolf’s Whisper Deviant in Once Human.

Masonic Pyramid

The Masonic Pyramid Deviant can be obtained as a reward for completing Stronghold Conquests, or War, in Once Human. This means that it is only obtainable through the PvP mode.

Additionally, you will only have a chance of getting it. So, if you’re not familiar with how War works in the game, we’ll run you through the entire process.

How To Get Masonic Pyramid

Starting off, you will need to load into a PvP server on Once Human. This Deviant can only be acquired in this game mode. Once you’re here, you’ll need to go into a Stronghold Conquest. The Masonic Pyramid is a reward that you only have a chance of getting through this method.

Fortunately, you can get this reward regardless of whether you win or lose in the War. So, the first thing you want to do is go into your Warband menu. You can do this by going into the options menu of Once Human. Here, you can find the Warband option in the Get United tab.

Warband option in Once Human.

Once you’re in the Warband menu, select the option that says War. Here, you will be able to see all the information you need to know about Wars. After that, you can join any of the Stronghold Conquests, or Wars, in this menu.

Now all you need to do is participate in the War and complete the conquest. You do not need to win, just complete it. Victory or not, you will still have a chance to get the Masonic Pyramid Deviant.

Victory Screen in Once Human.

Once the war is over, head to your base. After that, open your Mail from the pause menu in Once Human.

Here, you will be able to see an email regarding your latest Stronghold Conquest. The mail will consist of all the rewards you got from your conquest. The Masonic Pyramid Deviant has a chance to be among the rewards.

Redeem the rewards and then check your Inventory. Be sure to open all the Crates that you get too. If you got the Masonic Pyramid Deviant, you’ll be able to see it in your Inventory.

If not, then you will need to go into another war and try your luck again!

Masonic Pyramid in Once Human.

How To Use Masonic Pyramid

Once you obtain the Masonic Pyramid Deviant in Once Human, it’s time to see how you can use it. Make sure to place it in the Isolated Securement Unit when you get it.

When you do so, you will get access to two recipes for Whims. These Whims are pretty useful and will help you a lot in PvP. You get the following recipes with the Masonic Pyramid Deviant on Once Human:

  • Predator
    • Makes you invisible to the enemy
    • Guarantees your next hit to be a 100% Crit
  • Parapsychology
    • Alerts you when an enemy outside your field of view aims at you.

These are really useful recipes that we recommend you take advantage of. After all, PvP servers can be extremely dangerous!

That’s everything you need to know about getting the Masonic Pyramid Deviant in Once Human. A really useful Deviant for those players that like the PvP of the game. Unfortunately, you will not be able to use it in PvE servers.

Mini Feaster

When you finish the tutorial of the game, you’ll get a Deviant that can help you in fights. You can get more around the world through different activities. Some of these deviants can be a great help to your adventures so it’s good to know where to find them!

Here are the steps that we’ll be taking to get a Mini Feaster Deviant in Once Human:

  1. Go around the map looking for a World Event.
  2. Head inside the World Event and wait for it to start.
  3. Complete the objectives of the world event.
  4. Loot the crate for the world event and have a chance to get a Mini Feaster!

The Mini Feaster is a deviant that can attack your enemies, so if you need some more damage, you’ll want to get this one. To find a Mini Feaster, you’ll first need to look for World Events, which is the difficult part.

World Events aren’t automatically marked on the map, and you’ll need to find them manually. You can find them in areas with heavy fog and there are these large circular lights as shown below. Go to the base of the line to start the event.

Once Human World Event
Look for the foggy areas that have these lights in the middle!

The event will give you an objective, usually eliminating a boss. Sometimes, the event comes with weapons that you can use to make things easier. Complete the objectives and the fog will clear up.

Once you’re done, the event a crate will spawn at the base of where you found it. The crate usually has an assortment of materials as well as a chance to drop a Mini Feaster!

Hopefully, you’re lucky enough to get the Mini Feaster!

That’s how you can get a Mini Feaster in Once Human.

Mini Wonder

Before I show you the actual method to farm this deviation, you can get a guaranteed one from one of Lowe’s side quests if you have been doing them as you progressed through the levels.

I already got it prior to writing this, but the location it will spawn in for the quest is pretty much the same for everyone, and luckily, you won’t be competing with others for it.

First, you will need to head over to the Forsaken Monolith teleportation tower. If you don’t have it yet, I highly suggest going over there and doing so as you will need to go here around a week from this article’s publication date anyway.

Once Human map showing the forsaken monolith compound

From the tower, enter the nearby compound and head over to the stairs to the right. Stop halfway through as you ascend, so you will end up in the area highlighted in the image below.

my Once Human character near the area you need to go to, highlighted

Up there, you will find a sealed room that requires a Rosetta V2 Access Card. If you have one, feel free to enter this room and take the Mystical crate inside if you haven’t already cleared the area.

After that, directly in front of the door will be a gear crate sitting in the middle of a platform. In the highlighted spot below, which is just to the right from the crate, you should be able to see a Mini Wonder floating there if you have Lowe’s side quest for it.

The screenshot below was taken after finishing Lowe’s side quest, and this should serve as a confirmation that it does not respawn after the task. If you want more of it, you’ll need to do the other method further down the guide.

NOTE: There is a large group of Rosetta enemies, which includes an elite mechanic, directly underneath this platform. You may need to deal with them first as they’ll probably aggro you while you’re making your way up here.

my Once Human character standing in front of where the mini wonder spawns during the quest

The Actual Way to Farm Mini Wonders

The real method to get a Mini Wonder with a potentially higher level and other traits is by first creating a Synthesis Bench. You will need quite a few ciphers to unlock all the necessary memetics, as you also have to get the node that lets you make Vortex Generators.

With all of the necessary stuff set up, you will need to craft Vortex Generators. Basically, whenever you claim a finished Vortex Generator from a synthesis bench, there is an unknown chance for you to get a Mini Wonder.

Havingan Advanced Synthesis Bench can help speed up the process as it will let you craft two of them at a time. Just be warned that you will need quite a bit of acid and stardust source to make one (or, for the former, to make the explosives required for one).

I cannot possibly guess the odds of getting a Mini Wonder, but based on my testing, it only took me around eight Vortex Generators to finally get one.

I won’t be doing extensive testing for this, unfortunately. Stardust source and acid are incredibly valuable and slow to farm, but if you have a surplus of both, feel free to try and guess the chances yourself.

Once Human getting my second mini wonder through the synthesis bench

What Does the Mini Wonder Do?

The Mini Wonder is a defensive deviation that only works against a specific set of enemies. Specifically, it is only beneficial against enemies that use guns, which I assume might also include hostile players.

Basically, when active, the Mini Wonder will hover around the player and absorb bullets while also reloading your weapon from your ammo reserve whenever its effect is triggered.

From what I’ve seen, enemies seem to just straight up only shoot the Mini Wonder while it’s flying beside you. I can also confirm that deviants with ranged attacks do not care and will continue hitting you like normal.

Overall, it has a very niche use and may be worth it if you’re using something like a machine gun or anything with a high ammo capacity while essentially tanking tons of Rosetta soldiers (or maybe Vultures) at once. Other than that, you might be better off with a different combat deviant for PVE.

my Once Human character demonstrating mini wonder's ability

That is pretty much everything you need to know when it comes to finding the Mini Wonder and what it can do.

Mr. Wish

First up, you will want to head to the Securement Silo – Sigma dungeon in between the Eastern Railway Junction and Highbanks. It is close to one of the teleportation towers in the Broken Delta region, so it’s quite easy to get to.

There, you will have to clear the dungeon normally up until you kill your first elite enemy, a Rosetta Mechanic. If it drops an access card V3, then you can proceed to the next step. Otherwise, you’ll have to complete the dungeon and then run it again until you do.

Once Human map with the securement silo - sigma dungeon highlighted

Entering The Optional Minigame

With an access card on hand, proceed through the dungeon up until you climb out of the vents. Clear the room and go to the door to your right, which has red light shining on it. Use the access card on the panel beside the door and it should open.

As you enter through the hallway, you will slowly shrink and find yourself in a strange playground-like area. In the middle is a Wish Machine, which you should interact with to start the minigame.

Once Human optional minigame within the sigma securement silo

Once you start the minigame, you will have to stand in the designated area until you reach 100/100 charge. As you do this, waves of enemies will start spawning nearby. I can’t speak for the difficulty as I am way overleveled for this, but here are a few tips:

  • Gasbags will occasionally spawn in, and you definitely do not want them to get near you. Burst them down so that they explode away from the designated zone.
  • At around 90 charge, the minigame will pause as an elite enemy will spawn in the center of the room. You will have to defeat this before you can continue charging the machine.
  • After killing the elite enemy, a crawling hand with a gas tank will charge at you, so watch out for it!

After you finish the minigame, you will get a treasure chest in front of the Wish Machine, and there is a chance for Mr. Wish to spawn beside it. If he didn’t show up, you’ll just have to run through the dungeon again.

Unfortunately, this quick five minute example run did not result in a Mr. Wish drop. Here is an example of a player receiving it as confirmation that it exists, however:

Once Human player receiving the Mr. Wish deviant from the minigame

Completing the Dungeon

From this point on, simply head back and proceed through the rest of the dungeon normally. It’s a very straightforward instance, so there is no way you’ll get lost. The boss, Captain Dave, is practically in the next room after you leave.

He is pretty much your standard Rosetta Heavy, so if you’re still in the right level for this dungeon, use the crates nearby for cover as you take him down.

I highly recommend using the Festering Gel deviation in this dungeon if you’re on equal ground as the enemies. This will give you decent cover and also heal your HP and sanity, which may have taken a hit during the minigame.

Once Human facing the final boss of the dungeon

What Does Mr. Wish Do?

Mr. Wish is a combat deviation, which means that you have to sync him to your cradle in order to use him. His main ability is called Rapid Fire, in which he attacks enemies that you’re targeting and marks them.

And that is pretty much everything you need to know in order to try and get Mr. Wish, as well as a very brief summary of what he is used for.

Nutcracker

In order to get the Nutcracker Deviant in Once Human, you are going to need to complete a monolith. Thus, we can say that this one is not going to be easy to get. Moreover, you are going to need to be at least 50 levels before heading to this location. You can still have access to this area with a lower level, but, you will have a low chance of surviving.

Heading to the Forsaken Monolith to get Nutcracker Deviant in Once Human.

The Great One you are going to face at this monolith is named The Forsaken Giant. This enemy is a Level 60 enemy, and the game recommends you play this battle with four players. You can still be successful with two or three people, but you are going to need a lot of ammo and health support.

The Forsaken Giant information secreen in Once Human.

How to Defeat The Forsaken Giant

Since The Forsaken Giant is a 60-level Great One, it is not going to be easy to defeat it. Yet, of course, you will be successful if you have enough ammo and health support supplies.

The boss will only attack you after you’ve made the first move, so analyze the Forsaken Giant before attacking it. You should be able to see many red areas on the boss that indicate weak points where you can shoot to do more damage to the gigantic creature.

Any weapon with a high rate of fire is ideal for this boss fight, as a constant onslaught of assaults on certain vulnerability points can deplete the Giant’s health.

You’ll also want to use high-accuracy equipment to regularly target the Giant’s weak places. Bring machine guns or revolvers with heavy damage to deal with this boss throughout the fight.

Battling the Forsaken Giant in Once Human.

Try to find a position where you can easily target each weak point. Don’t forget to pack healing supplies or anything that can restore your character’s sanity so that you can stay in excellent shape throughout the fight. The Forsaken Giant is infamous for dealing a lot of damage quickly, forcing you to heal quickly before it attacks again.

The Forsaken Giant has three phases you need to beat. In each phase, it will perform different moves. Let’s check out all the moves to make it easier for you to defeat it.

The Forsaken Giant Phase 1 Moves

Move NameInformationDealing with the Move
StompThe Forsaken Giant stomps the earth, causing a large Area of Effect shockwave near the strike. To dodge this strike, move to the outskirts of the boss area, far from where the Giant stomps.
Slamming HandsThe Giant raises its hands and smacks both fists back down, sending a massive tremor throughout the whole boss arena.Jump or dodge at the last second as the shockwave hits your character. This move is extremely difficult to avoid, however, you may be able to reach the edge of the blast in either corner of the arena.
Arm SwipeThe Forsaken Giant sweeps its arm across the arena, attempting to strike your player with an outstretched hand.Move to the other side of the arena from where you saw the Giant’s arm begin. This is easier to do when you are at the arena’s edge or near the boss.
Energy OrbsRaising its head, the Giant launches multiple energy bullets at your character, honing in on them until they explode on impact.Shoot orbs to eliminate them before they reach your character.
The Forsaken Giant's first phase moves in Once Human.

The Forsaken Giant Phase 2 Moves

The second phase begins when the Forsaken Giant’s weak points show on its hands rather than other body parts. The Giant will summon Elite minions to distract you during the second phase, but its moves are identical to the first. It will become more aggressive, giving you fewer opportunities to deliver enough damage to trigger the final phase.

Thus, since you will mainly try to deal with the minions of the Great One, the moves will stay the same. Yet, be extra careful as it is going to be much more difficult to deal damage.

The Forsaken Giant Phase 3 Moves

The third phase adds new minions to fight alongside the Giant, including The Arbiter, a formidable foe you won’t want to overlook. Before you can focus on the monster, you must first manage your ammo and defeat all minions. But don’t get too sidetracked—in addition to the attacks you’ve already seen, the Forsaken Giant has a new move that you should be ready for.

  • Red Energy Pillar: The Forsaken Giant imbues a character with red energy, making them shine. After a brief period, the boss will slam into the area where the player has been marked. Each area of the boss arena can take this attack three times before being destroyed. Do not allow this attack to strike the same location repeatedly enough to destroy it. If you see your character glow red as the Giant slams, dodge the blow and relocate to another location in the arena.

During the third phase, the Giant’s weak places are continuously changing, making them difficult to target as you move about. Try to avoid the environmental hazards generated by its new attack and maintain the pressure to deplete its health completely. Once you defeat the Forsaken Giant, you will have a chance to get Nutcracker Deviant.

The Forsaken Giant's third phase moves in Once Human.

How to Use Nutcracker Deviant

When you put it in an isolated securement silo in your base, the Nutcracker Deviant will patrol your base for any possible threats. In order to give this deviant a mood boost, you need to place certain things near its securement area. These are:

  • Place it beneath the green light.
  • Keep at least one toy nearby.
  • Provide it with five watts of energy.

This way, your deviant will get a mood booster and work faster for you.

This is how to get Nutcracker Deviant in Once Human.

Orb Lightning

To get the Orb lightning Deviant, you need to:

  1. Reach the top of the Gaia Military base
  2. Take a chance and see if you’ve obtained the Orb Lightning Deviant

Keep reading for a detailed guide on how to achieve each of these steps.

Head to Gaia Military base

Before you go directly to the Gaia Military base, you first need to travel to a Teleporter nearby that will transport you to a world.

Gaia Military Base In Once Human

Note: you can simply change worlds if the deviant isn’t in the current one so you can have  a chance at finding one.

When you switch to the World, you can finally head to the base that’s nearby and marked. You should even clearly see the Base from the teleportation tower at a distance so go over and take your bike there.

Gaia Military Base In Once Human

To put into perspective which part of the base we’re entering from and where we mean to go, consider the map below.

Gaia Military Base In Once Human

The destination is at the very top of the base located in the back corner. Try marking the location on your map as well to help guide you in the direction you need to go.

Since this base is guarded, you’ll have to evade enemies’ attacks and maneuver through most of the gun shots while simultaneously heading to your destination.

Run past all the enemies and go to the other end of the base.

Gaia Military Base In Once Human

When you turn left, you’ll see a road ramp. Ride up to the top of it.

Gaia Military Base In Once Human

When you reach the top, you’ll find another entrance on your left. Go inside the area through the entrance. This is exactly where you need to be. Next, you go forward and jump down.

Exactly to your left, there should be a small enclosure with a door open.

Take Your Chance

There is a chance for the Orb Lightning Deviant to appear in that room. Go over to the room at the corner and ensure that you defeat any enemy in your way.

When you reach the room at the end with the computers, you’ll see a lightning orb hovering in the air. Interacting with it will give you a chance to obtain the Orb lightning Deviant.

It even shows you what percent of a chance you have to obtain the Deviant. Interact with the Orb and see if you got to claim the Deviant.

If you didn’t then like mentioned before, you can take your chances with another world. But if you did, then you’ve acquired the lightning Orb deviant as your little companion to go on adventures with you!

Paper Figure

Like most other Deviants in Once Human, you can get the Paper Figure Deviant in multiple ways. One way is to get the Deviant through a main story mission, Martial God’s Home. Many players get stuck on a certain objective here, so we’ll help you with that.

The other way is to chance upon the Paper Figure Deviant in the world. We’ll show you one location where you can find one most of the time.

Method #1 – Complete Martial’s God Home Quest

The first method of getting the Paper Figure Deviant is tied to a main story mission in Once Human. Specifically, you’ll need to do the Martial’s God Home quest that can be found at Deadsville. To start this quest, you’ll need to talk to Lowe.

Lowe in Once Human.

After talking to him, progress through the quest and eventually you’ll have to go to Citrus County. You’ll need to search for the Janitor here. The location of the house you have to go to is shown on the Once Human map below.

Citrus County in Once Human.

When you arrive here, you’ll need to find a specific diary. You can find Martin’s Diary on a bed next to a body on the ground floor of the house.

Martin's Diary in Once Human.

After reading the diary, make your way to the top floor using the ladder. Here, you’ll find the ‘Janitor’ in the corner as a Deviant using a Broom.

Janitor in Once Human.

The objective in the corner will have the clue you need about what you need to do next. You’ll need to use either the ‘Welcome’ or ‘Respect’ emotes in front of the Janitor.

Hold X to bring up your emotes wheel, and select one of these emotes. If you do not have the emote wheel set up, our How To Emote Guide can help you out.

Using Emotes on Janitor in Once Human.

After you do it correctly, the Janitor will transform into a Paper Figure Deviant. Now all you need to do is capture it and you’re done!

Paper Figure Deviant in Once Human.

Method #2 – Capture Paper Figure Deviant

The second method involves coming upon a Paper Figure Deviant by chance in Once Human. However, there are certain spots where the Paper Figure Deviant does appear more than usual. It will depend on your luck.

We have one such location for you. Go to the location shown on the map below. It can be found near the Breezy Shores Resort area.

House near Breezy Shores Resort on map in Once Human.

When you arrive here, you should see a house. On the roof of this house, you should be able to spot a Paper Figure Deviant. Simply make your way to the top of this house and capture the Deviant.

Paper Figure Deviant top of house in Once Human.

If the Deviant is not there, there is a method you can use to get it to appear. For this, you’ll need to head to the nearest Transportation Tower. Here, simply Switch Worlds and return to the location.

You might be able to find that the Paper Figure Deviant has appeared there, or in a nearby spot. There are other spots you can find this Deviant too – but as of now this is the only reliable one we’ve been able to find.

Switching worlds in Once Human.

How To Use Paper Figure

Now that you’ve gotten the Paper Figure Deviant, you might be wondering what exactly it does. If you place it inside an Isolated Securement Unit, you can see the description of its ability.

It’s an incredibly useful Deviant that allows you to recover Durability when the walls, floors and Stardust Resonant Filter gets damaged. Of course, this will depend on the Deviant’s power.

Additionally, it will be able to find unexpected rewards for you when you kill Deviants in your Territory. All this ensures that your territory will be well maintained!

Paper Figure Deviant Description in Once Human.

That’s everything you need to know about getting the Paper Figure Deviant in Once Human. Now you know multiple methods in which you can get the Paper Figure Deviant. It will help keep your base intact, especially during Raids.

Party Monkey

Getting the Party Monkey requires a whole lot of luck, and there really isn’t any better way to get it reliably other than “exploring the wilderness”, which is an incredibly vague tip. Let’s go through why that is the case.

Basically, you have to head to any refinery in the map. For those whose servers are still in phase 1, the ones available to you will be near Greywater Camp, Rippleby, and the Gaia Cliff Monolith.

Once you’re there, you will need to start the workshop defense mode by inserting any permit that you may have gotten from looting all around the game. Just check if the Party Monkey is in the reward preview.

The level of the access card does not matter, as you will have an unknown chance to get either the Party Monkey or a different deviant regardless of which permit you use. The level seemingly only affects the amount of resources you get on completion.

my Once Human character about to start a workshop defense, with the party monkey highlighted

Workshop Defense Mode

When anybody in the map activates a workshop defense activity, you will get a chat notification that somebody started one. This means that you don’t necessarily need your own permits, as you can simply head over there and hopefully participate before it ends.

All you need to do is protect the refinery from waves of enemies, with elites spawning every now and then. There is a five minute build mode where you can gather resources outside and build defenses within the indicated territory.

I recommend just dropping some layers of crates or log piles at the entrances and around the machine to slow down any normal mobs. In the Refinery Pollution Point, none of the elites can even enter the building even without blockers.

Once you have successfully defended the machine, you can now claim your rewards. If you look below, you will see what set of rewards are available from this run. This is not a guarantee that you’ll get the Party Monkey, it merely shows that you might get it after claiming.

my Once Human character completing a workshop defense

What Does the Party Monkey Do?

The Party Monkey is a crafting type deviant, meaning that it will passively produce a special resource in its containment unit. This can be used to create Party Monkey objects in build mode, which will aggro nearby enemies.

This is particularly useful for whenever you are purifying some cortexes at the Stardust Resonant Filter. By placing some Party Monkeys scattered throughout some distance away from the filter, you can prevent mobs from even touching the machine.

These will help further automate the defense phase if you have turrets and some well-placed sandbags and traps all around your filter. Of course, you’ll still need to pay attention to elite enemies, and make sure that the monkeys don’t get destroyed in the first few waves.

my Once Human character standing beside the stardust resonant filter at my base

And that is pretty much everything you need to know when it comes to getting the Party Monkey deviant, as well as a brief summary of what it is used for.

Polar Jelly

Once Human allows you little companions that help you during your missions and your adventures called Deviants and they come in many forms. Here are all the steps on how you can get your hands on a Polar Jelly Deviant in Once Human.

  1. Enter the Cargo Scramble Event
  2. Shoot at players with a jelly on their heads.
  3. Wait till you become the host
  4. Survive until you are rewarded the Polar Jelly deviant or until the end of the event.

Keep reading for a detailed guide on how to achieve all of these steps.

Cargo Scramble Event

First things first, you’ll need to find a Cargo Scramble event. These will appear at random on your map, so have a look around.

Cargo Scramble event in Once Human

When you can pinpoint the exact location on your map, it’s time to head there. Reaching the area where the Crago Scramble event is taking place, will also show you a yellow circle on the map highlighting within which area the event activates.

The area will be covered in Large Jelly blobs all over. Your task is to shoot at other players with a jelly on their head (sounds silly enough but that’s how it is!)

Cargo Scramble event in Once Human

Becoming the Host

At one point, the jelly will even choose you as their host. This means more chaos for you as every other player’s objective remains the same; to shoot the player with the jelly on their head.

Jelly host in Cargo Scramble event in Once Human

During combat and firing, you can use the big jelly blobs for defense.

All players will try to shoot you and you need to defend yourself. All you have to do is stay alive long enough. The longer you stay alive, the more sproutlets you obtain and also a higher chance to obtain the Polar Jelly Deviant.

But how will you know when you get the Polar Jelly Deviant? That’s easy because when you get it, it’ll show up clearly on the screen.

Polar Jelly deviant from Cargo Scramble event in Once Human

So keep surviving and fighting for your life until you get the Polar Jelly Deviant. If one is not enough, you can even keep playing and continue surviving until you obtain another Jelly.

The battle ends when the event is over. After the event finishes, you also get a bunch of rewards so don’t forget to collect them before you leave!

Reward from Cargo Scramble event in Once Human

And that’s how you obtain the Polar Jelly Deviant. It’s time you also go get one for yourself from the Cargo Scramble Event and see how long you survive. Let us know in the comments if you’ve reached the end of the event and obtained your rewards.

Pup Buddy

In order to get the Pup Buddy Deviant, you need to shoot down an adversary who is attached to a floating Pup Buddy. After you do that, you are going to have a slight chance to loot the Pup Buddy deviant from the enemy’s body. There is more than one location where you can get this deviant in the game. Check out the two locations where you can find the Pup Buddy Deviant below.

  • Evergreen: The enemy you are looking for might spawn anywhere around the Evergreen Area.
  • Blackfell Oil Fields: If you want to find the enemy more easily, Blackfell Oil Fields might be the better option. This is because it would probably be easier to look at one location instead of the whole area.
Heading to the Blackfell Oil Fields to find Pup Buddy deviant in Once Human.

As we mentioned, for an easy option, you can head to Blackfell Oil Fields. There is a teleportation tower close to this location. So, you can try to change the world if you cannot see the enemy you are looking for.

In this area, you need to look for an enemy that is connected to a floating balloon puppy. This enemy could be anywhere around the area, including the houses inside and the fields outside. So, you will need to look for it a little.

Remember to change the world if you cannot see the deviant. Doing this would be the easiest option since there is already a teleportation tower close to this area. Usually, this method is the best thing you can do if you are having trouble with finding something in this game.

How to Use Pup Buddy Deviant

Now that you know how you are going to find and get this cute puppy balloon friend, we can talk about its benefits. Pup Buddy is a crafting type of deviant. Meaning that it will craft some things for you if you put it in an isolated securement silo in your base.

The Pup Buddy will produce special materials that you can use to craft whim potions. These potions are required to increase your load capabilities in the game. After your deviant gets rested and accumulates enough deviant power, it will start producing the material.

Pup Buddy deviant features in Once Human.

After your deviant produces the materials you need, you can head to the Supplies Workbench. There, you will be able to craft a whim potion called Featherweight Potion. That potion is indeed very useful since you will be looting a lot of materials throughout the map. The most important thing you will do to get materials in the game is looting and dissembling that loot in the Disassembly Workbench. Most of the time, you will get the materials you need using this method.

Therefore, this potion will help you a lot when you want to get extra materials. Upon use, it will increase your carry capability by +50.

How to Increase Pup Buddy’s Mood

All deviants in the game have different kinds of mood boosters that you can place near their securement areas to boost their performance. It is possible to see them on their information screen. For Pup Buddy, you need to place:

  • Green Light: Craft a green light on the building menu and place it anywhere near the deviant. You do not have to place it directly on the deviant, it will affect it if it is located close. This will allow you to use your green light for more than one deviant. Definitely useful since there are other deviants who enjoy the presence of green light as well.
  • Music: You can place a radio in the area and play some music for your deviant. The radio needs to be in the same room as the isolated securement silo.
  • Toy: Decorate the area with a couple of cute toys. Placing one toy is enough, and once again, it will affect more than one deviant if it is close enough.
Decorating the area for mood boosters for Pup Buddy in Once Human.

So, these are everything you need to know about how to get Pup Buddy deviant in Once Human. We can say that it is easier to get since some deviants such as Lonewolf’s Whisper Deviant in the game will require you to defeat a Great One.

However, the difficult part of finding this one is that there is actually no certain location to look at. It can be walking around anywhere around the areas we mentioned, and you might need to change the world more than one time if you are not lucky enough.

Pyro Dino

First off, you will need to go to the Securement Silo – Phi and play on normal difficulty. This dungeon is located in the Iron River area and you can find it by going to the coordinates 5166, -2988 in the game.

Going Down the Elevator

Make your way through the dungeon like normal and once you hit this hallway with the poison sack, kill it and a wall of poison will fall down. This is a new area that you can go to. Go through that area to proceed.

In this room, you will have to kill a bunch of enemies to continue forward. They’re not too high leveled and not hard to fight. Especially if you have guns.

After clearing the entire room, look for this crate on the ground inside the center room and open it. You will find a card that allows you to open an elevator.

Defeat Rainfall Reaper

You will enter a room where the reality will change. Once you exit the room again, you’ll see that the room is now much more open and filled with enemies. Go around and eliminate every single one of these enemies.

Once all the enemies are defeated, a mini boss called Rainfall Reaper will appear. You will then have to defeat him in order to continue through a portal that appears.

Once you are spawned in, you will have a chance to see Pyro Dino in the room. Bear in mind that there is a chance that he will spawn, so you might not see him on your first try. Simply do the whole process again until you eventually spawn in Pyro Dino.

Rain Man

The main method for getting the Rain Man Deviant is by killing Rainfall Reaper enemies. You can come across these enemies randomly in Once Human. Looting their body gives you a chance of getting Rain Man Deviants. However, we’ll show you multiple locations where you can find these Rainfall Reapers.

Location #1 – Harborside near Meyer’s Market

For the first location, you want to head to the Harborside in Once Human. You can find it quite close to the Meyer’s Market area.

The exact location you want to head to is shown below.

If you do not find the Rainfall Reaper or the Deviant here, there is a method to increase your chances. You’ll need to return to the nearest Teleportation Tower and Switch Worlds.

After that, return to the area and retry getting the Rain Man Deviant.

Location #2 – Sutherland Chemical Plant

The next location where you can try and capture the Rain Man Deviant is at Sutherland Chemical Plant. Specifically, you want to go to the North side of this area.

The exact location is shown on the Once Human map below.

How To Use Rain Man

Now that you have the Rain Man Deviant in Once Human, how can you actually use it? The description of this Deviant can give a lot of insight.

In essence, you can use this Deviant to create rainfall which will water plants automatically. As a result, you won’t need a water system for your plants.

Not only that, but it also waters the farm to the perfect irrigation level. So if you’re someone who has a lot of farms, be sure to set these Deviants up near them!

That’s everything you need to know about getting the Rain Man Deviant in Once Human. With the multiple locations we’ve discussed, you should be able to come across a few of these Deviants. Be sure to set them up at your farms.

Rebecca

Having the chance to summon Mitsuko in your base is not going to be an easy job. Thus, you are going to need to complete the Lea Research Lab and face different kinds of powerful bosses around the area to get your reward.

The Lea Research Lab is recommended to play with 4 players, and it has a Level 60 ranking. What makes it different from other areas in the game is that you will encounter more than one boss in this area, along with mutated enemies walking all around the lab.

So, make sure to take a lot of food, water, health supplies, and most importantly ammo with you. If you are playing it with two or three people, make sure to bring even more of these items to secure your survival.

Starting the Lea Research Lab in Once Human.

Starting the Lab: First Challenge

At the beginning of the lab, the first challenge you are going to face will be the Glutton enemy. You might have already seen that ugly giant around the map for the past couple of days, and we are sorry to inform you that it is coming for you in this area as well.

When you are inside, you can try to stay near the filtration and shoot the enemy from that point. Defeating this enemy is all about focusing on its weak points, and if you have strong weapons, it is not going to be very difficult. If you manage to defeat it, the soul of Glutton will go inside the glass unit on the right. After that, you will have a chance to secure it.

Also, you will need to kill the boss according to its element. So, if it is a Fire Glutton, hit it with fire. If it is an Ice Glutton, hit it with ice.

Defeating the Glutton enemy in Once Human.

Second Challenge: Dr. Manheim Boss

Now, you are not going to have any trouble finding your way in the lab, all you need to do is follow the path. When you do that after defeating the Glutton enemy, you will come to the room with Dr. Manheim boss inside. This one is a Level 60 Great One, and it has a couple of phases. So be extra careful with dealing with it.

Defeating Dr. Manheim enemy to get Rebecca deviant in Once Human.

During the first phase, you need to attack the boss until he gets immune and reaches the second phase. Until it happens, Dr. Manheim will summon five Gluttons. You will need to repeat what you did in the first challenge and put the correct Deviants into the matching containers. However, there will be other small mutated enemies trying to attack you as well. So, be careful with them too.

As you shoot the Gluttons around the area, Dr. Manheim will lose health points. When its health reaches below 50% health, it will become immune. Keep doing the securement process to bring its shield down. Remember, the boss has an AoE skill; he will slam the ground, and the waves will drain your HP, so you must either jump or hide behind a structure.

Once you defeat Dr. Manheim, you will have a chance to get the Rebecca Deviant. If it does not drop the deviant, you can try to exit and repeat these steps, or you can move on to the next boss.

Dr. Manheim Boss in Once Human.

Final Boss: Mother of Life

Now, exiting and repeating the steps might be easier than facing the final boss of the Lea Research Lab. Yet, since you are already there, we think that it makes more sense to complete the lab rather than leave. The final boss in this area is named Mother of Life, and it also has a chance to drop the Rebecca Deviant for you.

  • When you hit the boss’s HP two bars, the fire and ice cubes will come into action.
  • The disciple monsters will arrive near the door and sprinkle stardust. You must use the stardust to eliminate the spores that appear in the region.
  • The boss will get immune.
  • Once all four securement tubes are full of deviants, you can resume damaging the boss.
  • In the final two bars, the boss will regain immunity. As a result, you must repeat the process, this time securing the deviant in the security tube.

The boss then becomes immune, and it takes a combination of past encounter elements to break the shield. Defeat disciples to get Stardust Crystals. Throw the crystals at the Spore piles (depending on the color) to create polarized deviants with matching shields.

After defeating Mother of Life, you are going to have a chance to get Rebecca Deviant. If you did not get it from Dr. Manheim, you will probably get it from this one. If it still does not appear, you will need to repeat the steps.

How to Use Rebecca Deviant

Deviants’ moods affect their performance in a great way. Therefore, Rebecca Deviant will help you a lot. All you need to use this deviant is to put it into the Isolated Securement Unit and put a piano in your base.

While the Rebecca deviant will boost other deviants’ moods, someone needs to boost its mood as well. In order to boost this deviant’s mood, you need to put green lights, toys, or plant flowers around its securement unit. Once the deviant has enough mood and strength, it will leave its unit and start playing piano for other deviants.

This is how to get Rebecca Deviant in Once Human. Having the ability to bring Mitsuko into your base is a really unique skill, so do not miss this chance.

Shattered Maiden

The Shattered Maiden deviant is one of the combat-type deviants in Once Human. It will participate in the battles and freeze your enemies. It is one of the best deviants, so we advise you to give importance to it and get it as soon as possible.

You can obtain this deviant through the production facilities scattered all around the map. In this guide, we are going to show you the one close to the Greywater Camp. It does not matter which production facility you go to, but this one is the closest to a teleporter. When you arrive at the facility, you are going to be at the coordinates 5167, and -3639.

Once Human How To Get Shattered Maiden Deviant

When you check the refinery in the production facility, you are going to see that you have a chance to get a deviant there. However, you need to know that you might get another deviant other than the Shattered Maiden too. Therefore, it might take you a couple of tries before getting the one you want.

Now, you can use any kind of refinery permit as an access card, it does not matter. After you select the card you want to use, you will need to defend the facility until the production is complete.

Using the refinery to get the Shattered Maiden in Once Human.

The production will last for 4 minutes and 30 seconds. You will need to deal with 4 monster waves with a monster level of 15. Therefore, you might want to get ready for this challenge a little bit. Maybe bring some friends with you to help you out as well.

Once you are ready, you can click on the “Start Defense” option. Now, the best advice we can give you for this is to open the build mode and try to put boxes in the way.

Starting the defense to get the Shattered Maiden in Once Human.

After you think that you are ready and your defense is in good condition, you can advance the timer or wait for it to go down.

Make sure to take a look at our guide on how to get the Voodoo Doll deviant as well.

Using the production facility to advance time to get Shattered Maiden in Once Human.

If you can successfully defend the facility, you will earn your rewards at the end of the challenge. As we mentioned before, you might not get the Shattered Maiden deviant in the first place. So, make sure to replay this action until you get it.

Successful defense to get the Shattered Maiden in Once Human.

This is basically how to get Shattered Maiden deviant in Once Human. With a little bit of luck, we hope that you can get your deviant on your first try.

Snow Globe

Obtaining the Snow Globe deviation is a relatively simple and straightforward process that will only require a bit of your time. Just make sure that you are at least around level 45 or above to get through it smoothly.

Basically, you need to clear the Securement Silo – Psi dungeon to the southeast of the Forsaken Monolith. It is on the border between Red Sands and Chalk Peak, and it’s always marked in the map, so you should be able to find it easily.

Once there, run the normal difficulty version of the dungeon to complete it as fast as possible. I am unsure if this affects the drop rate or potential level of the deviant, but your runs will at least be really easy.

Once Human map showing the location of the psi silo

Unlike some of the other deviants that come as random drops from dungeons, the Snow Globe merely requires you to beat the silo boss for a chance to get it. Because of this, you don’t really need to be guided into a seepage zone.

Just run through the fairly linear and easy to navigate dungeon until you make it to the boss, Empty House. It is an easy boss to beat, and the only thing you have to keep in mind are the following:

  • When it becomes immune to damage, follow the glowing wires to find which generator you are being asked to destroy.
  • Upon reaching the specified generator, use one of the nearby ice shards to break the barrier and destroy the machine inside with your weapons.
  • Repeat this cycle until the boss has no HP left.
  • NOTE: Each time you get a generator phase, some of the frozen Rosetta units in the arena will become active. These will become increasingly difficult, as elites will start thawing too.

Once you have beaten the animated fridge, you will get a treasure chest on top of the mound of snow it stood on. If you’re lucky, the Snow Globe might appear beside your loot.

If it didn’t show up for you, you’ll just have to run through the entire dungeon again. For the purposes of this article, it took me only three runs to get it to show up, but your mileage may vary.

my Once Human character finally getting the snow globe drop

What Does the Snow Globe Do?

Placing a Snow Globe into one of your isolated securement units for the first time will unlock the recipe for snowballs. These can be crafted at a supplies workbench of any tier, at least I assume it should work with even the lowest one.

The Snow Globe itself will passively generate some snowdust over time, with eight pieces of this needed for a single snowball. Place it near a fridge and under blue light to speed up its regeneration and, consequently, its ability to produce snowdust.

Snowballs are basically throwable items that can slow your target down and potentially freeze them for a few seconds if you can hit three consecutive balls. This can be pretty useful against some elite enemies, or maybe even PVP if you’re brazen enough to try and use these on people.

Aside from that, I’d like to think that its only real use will be to mess around with friends and random people out in the wild.

It isn’t particularly good due to how it is inefficient in PVE and just plain outclassed by simply shooting the other player in a PVP situation. This is particularly true with how a lot of players use builds that can one shot you.

Once Human advanced supplies workbench menu with the snowball selected

And that is pretty much everything you need to know about the Snow Globe deviant in the game, as well as what it is used for.

Space Turner

The first step of getting the Space Turner Deviant is to travel to the area named Dayton Wetlands near Throughville. The exact locations you need to go to are 6504 and -5216.

Once Human How To Get Space Turner Deviant coordinates and location.

Once you are there, you are going to see the Space Turner at the exact location we marked. Keep in mind that there is also a chance for Strange Door to appear here as well. Therefore, if you do not see it there, we advise you to use the teleport towers to change the world until it appears. It will make it a lot easier for you to find it.

After locating the deviant, all you have to do is to secure it and it will be yours. This concludes our guide on how to get Space Turner deviant in Once Human! Now, you have the ability to teleport, and summon your teammates through teleports as well!

Strange Door

For the most part, getting the Strange Door Deviant in Once Human will depend on your luck. So, we will look at multiple places to increase your chances of finding one. Additionally, we’ll show you how you can increase your chances of finding one, in case the Deviant isn’t there.

Generally, you’ll want to go to locations with Door Puzzles. At Door Puzzles, there is a chance for the Strange Door Deviant to appear. It will either be a Strange Door Deviant or Space Turner.

So, we’ll show you the location of Door Puzzles in Once Human.

There is a final method that will guarantee that you find the Strange Door Deviant in Once Human, although it’s a bit complicated. It’s related to the story missions.

Location #1 – South of Broken Delta

The first Door Puzzle location we have for you can be found South of the Broken Delta, near the large lake. The exact location is shown below on the Once Human map.

South of Broken Delta on map in Once Human.

When you reach this location, look for a Door Puzzle. In this area, you’ll find either a Space Turner or a Strange Door Deviant. You can then try your luck and capture the Deviant, if it’s there.

If you do not see the Strange Door Deviant, there is a way to improve your chances. You can do this by Switching Worlds at the nearest Teleportation Tower. After you do so, return to the spot and see if it’s there.

Location #2 – Thoroughville

Another Door Puzzle you can find in Once Human is near Throughville. This is another location where you have a chance of getting the Strange Door Deviant in Once Human.

The exact location is shown on the map below.

When you reach this location, go towards the broken down doors. You should be able to see the Strange Door Deviant.

If it’s not there, you can Switch Worlds at the Teleportation Tower and try your luck again! We mentioned the process for it above.

Location #3 – Escape Rift Space Mission at Monolith of Thirst (100% Guaranteed)

A different method of getting the Strange Door Deviant is through the Escape Rift Space Mission in Once Human. It will 100% give you a Strange Door Deviant every single time.

However, the process is a bit complicated.

Starting off, you’ll need to progress through the Once Human story. Eventually, you’ll come across the In The Tall Grass quest. Activate 5 Rift Anchors as part of this quest.

Tall Grass Inn quest on map in Once Human.

Once all the Rifts are activated, make your way to the Monolith of Thirst. Here, you’ll come across an NPC by the name of Keith. Talk to him to activate the Escape Rift Space mission.

Monolith of Thirst on map in Once Human.

As part of this mission, you’ll need to kill Keith 4 times in a large maze. You’ll need to use his coughing as a means of locating him.

Fighting Keith in Once Human.

After you kill him the final time, the Strange Door Deviant will appear on his body.

You can capture it and it will appear here 100% of the time. The only downside is you’ll have to go through the story. So, it’s up to you to decide which method works for you.

How To Use Strange Door

Now that we’ve looked at multiple ways to get Strange Door Deviant, it’s time to see how it works. When you capture the Strange Door Deviant, you’ll get some blueprints for some portals.

You’ll need to capture it by building the Isolated Securement Unit, and placing it inside it.

As part of the description of this Deviant, it gives you the ability to teleport between two portals. So, you’ll get the ability to build these portals at your base.

Strange Door Deviant Description in Once Human.

When you’re in your territory, hold the B button to open your Build Menu. Here, select the Facilities tab followed by the Function Facility sub tab.

Go through the various blueprints here and you should come across two new ones: Standing Portal and Horizontal Portal.

You’ll need the following resources to be able to build any one of these portals in Once Human:

  • x20 Shattered Strange Door
  • x4 Acid
  • x3 Glass
  • x20 Steel Ingot
Standing Portal blueprint in Once Human.

After you build one, you can place them in any convenient location. Keep in mind that you’ll need to build two of these so that you can teleport between them.

We recommend that you put it on the ground, followed by one on the roof or an upper floor. This will enable you to quickly navigate your base without stairs. The possibilities are endless.

The only downside is that the portals have a very short range. So, you’ll only be able to teleport a short distance.

Horizontal Portal placement in Once Human.

That’s everything you need to know about where to find the Strange Door Deviant in Once Human. We’ve looked at multiple ways that should allow you to get your hands on one of them. Be sure to get it so that you can access the portal blueprints!

Upper World Spawn

Here are all the steps to follow in order to acquire the Upper World Deviant

  1. Enter the Securement Silo – PSI.
  2. Clear the First room.
  3. Clear the second room.
  4. Get past the lasers.
  5. Clear the snowy area with the boss and destroy both generators.

Now, let’s look at a detailed walkthrough on how to achieve each of these steps.

Securement Silo – PSI

Start by heading to Securement Silo – PSI.

Remember to keep moving forward and destroy any enemy in your path.

To help yourself get through, it’s important that you equip yourself adequately. You can also check out items in the season’s shop for anything useful. ItemLevel has a guide on How To Get to the Season Shop to show you where to find it, so do check it out!

Continue on your path and you’ll be heading toward a room. On your way to the room, you’ll see a desk on your right side.

Get past all the lasers by crouching, walking faster when needed and waiting for the lasers to make space so you can quickly pass. Time your movements and this obstacle should be easy to get through. When you reach the other side, you can use the switch to turn off all the lasers.

Now, go all the way down to the other side of the Hallway until you reach a doorway.

You’ll need to plant explosives on this door to access the other side. So throw a grenade and quickly step back before it explodes to evade any damage. Collect all the loot from the room, then leave the room and continue down the path.

There will be more lasers ahead so use the same method to get through them and then shut them down. This set of lasers is trickier than the last because it’s very close together but you can easily pass through them if you time your moves right.

On the other side of the lasers, you’ll find a door with a Rosetta V3 access terminal.

Use your keycard to gain access to the other side. On the other side you’ll find path way that will lead you to a snowy area.

Voodoo Doll

The Voodoo Doll deviant is an entity that can participate in combat, either by sharing its owner’s damage or by controlling adversaries and having them share the damage instead.

In order to find this deviant in Once Human, you need to take a quest named Carnival of Doom and complete it. Let’s take a look at what you need to do to complete this quest.

Visiting the Anchor Junkyard in Once Human to start the Carnival of Doom Quest to find the Voodoo Doll deviant.

Starting the Carnival of Doom Quest

The Carnival of Doom Quest is one of the hidden quests you can get by interacting with a specific item in the game. To start this quest, you need to go to the number 17 warehouse located in Rift Anchor Junkyard and interact with a revolver there.

Before you go there to activate this quest, you need to know that you should be at least level 19 to get this quest. Also, you are going to need to face a couple of difficult enemies there while trying to locate the revolver. So make sure that you are prepared.

You can find this revolver by going to the coordinates 3640, and -7044. Once you are there, go inside the building in front of you and you will see the revolver. Interact with it, and choose the “Let him have his way” option. Once you do that, it will teleport you to another location.

Completing the Carnival of Doom Quest

After interacting with the revolver, you will open your eyes in Carnival of Doom, in front of a weird clown named Chuckles. Luckily, you are in for a fun game night! And Chuckles is inviting (or rather forcing 🙂 ) you to a game of roulette. Well, the cutscene will end shortly after Chuckles shoots everyone but you and turns them into teddy bears.

However, he is not done with you. Chuckles will ask you to play the game of roulette with him. So, once you are off your chair, follow the red cable on the ground. After finding the end of the cable, press Q and then go back to the clown.

Now, you will need to choose between the dialogue options when you interact with him. Choose the “I need some fresh air” option.

He will not be happy with your request, but let you do it anyway. Now, the big door on the right will be open. When you go there, you will see that there is another guy looking just like Chuckles. Kill him either by using your melee weapon or just sneaking up behind him.

Now, after killing him, you can interact with the Roulette Cheating Device there. Looks like Chuckles has been cheating in the game all this time, and this it the reason why he always wins.

Go back to Chuckles the clown and follow the dialogue. He is going to ask you whether you would like to pull the trigger or not. You will only have one option, and it is “I’ll pull the trigger” so choose it.

Once you pull the trigger, Chuckles will be gone and the Voodoo Doll deviant will appear on the air. Secure it, and it will be yours!

Zeno-Purifier

There is no specific location in which you can find the Zeno Purifier Deviant. Instead, you’ll need to utilize one of two methods to be able to get it.

One method is by finding it which will depend on your luck. The other one is linked to a Seasonal Challenge, which is a guaranteed method but might take longer. We’ll go through both of these challenges and show you how to utilize it in combat.

Method #1 – Looting Weapon Crates

The first method of finding the Zeno Purifier Deviants is by looting Weapon Crates in Once Human. The Deviant has a chance of appearing in one of these Weapon Crates.

The appearance of this Deviant is entirely random and will depend on your luck. So just try to loot as many Weapon Crates as you can across the Once Human map.

Eventually, you should be able to come across one.

Method #2 – Completing Seasonal Challenge

The second method for getting the Zeno Purifier Deviant is through the Seasonal Challenges. There is one particular challenge that you can complete, which allows you to claim one Zeno Purifier Deviant.

It’s a guaranteed method to get the Zeno Purifier Deviant.

Start by going into the pause menu. Here, select the Season menu that you see at the top on the right, where you can see Phases.

In this menu, you’ll see various challenges that you can complete. At the bottom, there will be a challenge where you’ll have to defeat 200 enemies with melee weapons.

Completing this challenge will give you one Zeno Purifier Deviant. Since it is a Phase 1 reward, it is possible you might need to be in Phase 1 of the season. So be wary of that, as we have not been able to confirm this.

To complete the challenge, simply take out any melee weapon and start killing enemies. Once they’re killed, be sure to claim the challenge reward. Doing so will give you the Zeno Purifier Deviant.
