Unlocking characters in a game can always be fun and exciting until you get to the process of unlocking them. Sometimes, the game doesn’t tell you how to and you’re left there wondering and guessing. That can waste a lot of time, so you’ll want to know how to unlock them first!
In Secret Staycation, there are a lot of characters that you can unlock and one of them is the Eggplant. Unlike other characters that you’ll only need to find this one needs you to go through some minigame first.
In this guide, we’ll show you where you can find the Eggplant in the game. We’ll go through where you’ll need to go and what you’ll need to do to unlock it. Now, let’s see where this eggplant is hiding!
How To Get Eggplant Location
There are a lot of different characters that you can unlock in Secret Staycation and there are different ways to get them. Some only need you to find them, while others need a bit more effort to get. One of the latter is the Eggplant, since you’ll need to grow it first!
Here are the steps that we’ll be taking to get the Eggplant in the game:
- Head into the hallway and go inside the small vent.
- Going in the vent will bring you to the Small Farm.
- Find the Sima Sima Seed and plant it in your pot.
- Water the seed by getting yourself wet with the running water.
- Continue watering it until it grows and you can get the Eggplant!

Detailed Walkthrough
The Eggplant in Secret Staycation can be found by growing it in the Small Garden. Getting there is easy, all you need to do is know where the entrance is.
To get the Eggplant, you’ll need to head to the hallway as shown below. Go to the very end of the hallway and then look to the left.
There, you’ll find an air vent like the one shown below. Interact with it to open it and then go through it. You’ll see your character go up a flight of stairs inside of it. Once you do that, you’ll be sent to a loading screen.
After the game is done loading, you’ll be in the Small Garden area. Go to the area where there are plants and look for this purple seed called a Sima Sima Seed. You can see it below; you’ll need to drag it into the pot with your name on it.
Once you drag it there, the seed will be planted, and you’ll then need to water it.
To water the seed, you’ll want to go to the running water area as shown below and then jump in. Make your character wet and then head back to the pot. The water dripping from your character will go to the seed.
Make sure to do this multiple times to continue watering the seed. After a while, the seed will grow and it will spawn the Eggplant. At that point, all you need to do is touch it to obtain it!
