With the recent start of an event called The Games on Roblox, dozens of experiences are now offering various rewards that count towards progress in the festivities. Funky Friday just got a revival because of this as it is also a participating game, and in this guide, we will be showing you how to get all of the shines and silvers counted for the event!
How to Get All 5 Shines & 3 Silvers (The Games Roblox Event)
Before we get to the quests for silver coins, let’s quickly go over how to get all five shines first, as they don’t require anything special. Basically, you just have to run around the lobby until you find all of them.
Below will be a list of their locations, which you can go to in any order you desire:
- Shine #1 – Inside the Miko Borgar restaurant, right behind the red among us character at the counter.
- Shine #2 – Behind the subway entrance, in between two stages and within eyeshot of the Top Clans leaderboard.
- Shine #3 – At the end of the train tracks behind the shop. You can reach this via the staircase near Miko Borgar.
- Shine #4 – On the roof of Miko Borgar. The staircase to get there is behind the building. You can see Shine #3 from up here!
- Shine #5 – Behind the train inside the subway. Took me a while to find this one, but you just walk around it, basically.
The Quests for Silver Coins
Next, you will want to do the three quests to get all the silver pieces in this game. Press the blue EVENT button in the left hand side of the screen to check each objective.
Let’s quickly go through all of the objectives below, starting with the order that the developers put them in:
Quest #1 – Obby
For the first quest, you just have to complete the new obby that was added in the middle of the main spawn area. Just go through the large golden portal and you will be transported there. You have ten minutes to complete it without dying.
The obby is really easy, but here are a few tips if you are worried:
- Donuts will fade away after a couple of seconds.
- The arrows are essentially checkpoints that you will respawn in if you fall.
- Beach balls will bounce you up after a split second. You do not need to press spacebar while on them as you will just jump automatically.
- The inflatable pools are not solid and you will fall through the edges if you try to step on them. Focus on the inflatable donuts and rubber ducks that are circling in them instead.
- Take your time. Ten minutes is a lot, and as you can see below, I got it done in like 3 minutes of low effort and with a lot of careless mistakes.
Quest #2 – Playing Some Songs
For the next one, you will have to finish Locked In, Quarrel, and Chaoz Fantasy Remix with a score of at least 50% or more. I can’t give you any advice for this as this is completely based on your rhythm game skills.
This might take you a bit of time if you aren’t used to this game. Even a rhythm game veteran like me who plays a lot of DJMAX and osu had a lot of difficulty playing this, so don’t beat yourself up if the controls just aren’t controlling.
Quest #3 – Beat Somebody Else
Finally, continuing on with the trend of just playing the game, you have to win against somebody else three times while playing the following songs:
- Tricky: Expurgation
- VS Matt: Target Practice
- VS Kapi – Arcade Showdown: Nyaw
- VS Nonsense: Uncommon
- VS Ron: Ron
- VS Camellia: Liquated
If you want to cheese the event, which a lot of people are doing right now since only a few people still play this religiously, you can make an agreement with others. Basically, just trade wins by having one person lose on purpose.
This will be the easiest way for you to complete the objectives without sweating it. Otherwise, feel free to wait for somebody to challenge you and try your best to beat them!
