With the brand-new update to Sakura Stand, we have gotten quite a bit of content in the form of new Specs and Skins. There is also a new Summer Festival quest that you can complete. Doing so can give you a limited time UGC plushie and title. But how exactly can you finish this quest and find all the letters needed for it? We’ll show you exactly that in this guide. Without further delay, let’s get into it!
How To Complete Summer Festival Quest & All Letter Locations
Seemingly, the Plushie Reward for the Summer Festival Quest was only available for the first 1000 players who completed the quest. So, right now, you will not be able to get it if you complete the quest.
Some players have said they have still received the title, while others have said it’s tied to the Plushie. So, we have not been able to confirm that yet.
However, you can still complete the Summer Festival Quest in Sakura Stand if you want to. You can get the quest by talking to the Summer Auddy NPC.
As part of the quest, you will need to find all 6 letters that represent the word SUMMER. For each letter, you’ll need to do a specific task. Most of these letters are chance based while for others you’ll need to find the letters in hidden locations.
We are not sure whether you have to do the letters in order, as there are different opinions on it. So, just to be on the safe side, we recommend you do them in order. Feel free to use the Table of Contents if you’re only interested in how to get a specific letter.
S Letter Location
Starting off, we’ll be looking at how you can get the first letter for the Summer Festival Quest. There is a difference of opinion here as well.
Some players have said they got the letter S by purchasing 30 Rokaka at the Shop in Sakura Stand. Each Rokaka costs about $75.
On the other hand, other players have said that the letter S has a chance to drop when buying any item with the shop. So, you’ll need to buy as many items as you can until the S letter drops. This can be anywhere from 30-50 items.
We have not been able to confirm which method works, or if either method is viable. So, you can try them out and see which one works out for you. Both of them are similar anyways so it won’t be that much of an issue.
U Letter Location
Next, we have the letter U for the Summer Festival Quest. Again, there is a difference of opinion for which task you need to do for this letter in Sakura Stand.
Some players have said that all you need to do is Spin once at the Arcade. The Arcade can be found at the Cafe. After you spin once, you should get the U.
On the other hand, other players have said that you need to Sell items at the Seller NPC in Sakura Stand. Selling each item will give you a chance of getting the letter.
So, you need to keep selling items until eventually you get it.
Again, we have not been able to confirm which method is the true one. So, we recommend you try the Arcade one first. If it doesn’t work, then you can try the selling items method.
First M Letter Location
After that, you’ll want to get your hands on the first letter M in Sakura Stand. This one is pretty straightforward. All you need to do is kill Thugs that can be found all around the map.
After that, make sure to loot their boxes. The letter M has a chance to drop from one of these boxes. So, just keep killing Bandits until you get it!
You might also want to get the new Spec added to the update while you’re at it. Check out our How To Get Kaiju 8 Guide to get it, which includes a showcase of all the modes too!
Second M Letter Location
The Second M letter for the Summer Festival Quest is also pretty straightforward. For this one, you’ll need to search Boxes that can spawn all around the map.
There is a 10% chance for the letter to drop from the Boxes. So, just keep exploring the map and looting boxes until you get it.
E Letter Location
The letter E is actually hidden in a secret location on the Sakura Stand map. To get here, you’ll first need to enter the Cave for the Summer Festival Quest.
After you enter the cave, make your way towards the right in the direction that is shown below.
Over here, you’ll come across a slight slope that leads all the way up. Climb up this slope all the way to the top.
When you reach the top, you’ll reach the Tallest Peak area of Sakura Stand. From here, you want to go towards the pillar that is shown below.
Go behind this pillar and you’ll see a slope. Now make your way to the top by climbing this slope.
At the top of the slope, you should be able to find the letter E ingrained into the mountain. You might have to look around a bit, but it will be there in the corner. Claim it to get the letter E for the Summer Festival Quest.
R Letter Location
The final letter R is also hidden in a secret spot in Sakura Stand. To get here, you’ll first need to go to the Seller NPC in the game. When you’re in the area, go towards the left of this NPC.
You’ll see a small alley that leads into a dark spot. From here, you can enter into the Dark Alley.
After you enter the Dark Alley, you’ll find yourself in a maze. The letter R can be anywhere in this maze. Seemingly, the location is different for each player.
So, you will need to explore the maze and keep an eye out. Eventually, you should be able to find the letter R and claim it. Doing so will complete the Summer Festival Quest.
Since the 1000 players limit has passed, you likely cannot get the UGC item unless the developers change it. You still might be able to get the Title although we have not been able to confirm it.
That’s everything you need to know about completing the Summer Festival Quest. Since you know where you can get all the letters, completing it should be a piece of cake! It is kind of disappointing that this quest was so limited.
The new skin for the Stop Sign might be able to take away some of the disappointment. It is an Ancient rarity skin with some amazing moves. Check out our How To Get Infernal Bard Guide!
