The Time of Ninja features the world of our favorite Shonen anime/manga series called Naruto. The world greatly resembles the one from the series and there are many characters from the game that you’ll recognize.
The game is a bit confusing for new players because of a lot of systems and mechanics. That’s why, we decided to do a beginner’s guide that would include all of the most complex mechanics and systems, explained in a straightforward manner!
Complete Beginner’s Guide
Starting off as a beginner in a brand new game may be daunting considering you have no clue how it’s going to go. But to help you get through the first phase and familiarize yourself with the game, we’ve made this guide just for you. In this Beginner’s Guide we’ll cover:
- Customization
- Controls, Stats, and more.
- Tutorial
- Missions
- Rewards, Achievements, Codes
Keep reading to learn about each of these in detail.
Customization
Before you start the game, you’ll be given the option to customize your character as with any other RPG Roblox game.
Once you choose the appearance that best suits you or appeals to you, it’s time to move on to Clans. You’ll need to do a spin for a clan. Your clan will be chosen for you depending on the clan you get from the spin.
Once your clan is chosen, you’ll be met with a loading screen and you’ll spawn into the game.
Controls, Stats, and more.
Besides the basic control to walk, you can also:
- Press Q to Dash
- Click on M to open up your Menu
When you click on M and go over to Attributes, you’ll see some more stats.
This will include your Health, Attack, Agility, and more.
After Attribute, you also have an “Inventory” option, where you can equip your items and weapons like the Shuriken.
In your menu, you’ll also find Roles, Skill Tree, Quests, Squad, and Extra Menu. the Extra Menu is the additional settings for your game along with the option to input codes and more.
Additionally, at the start of the game, you can kill enemies by punching until later on you’ll be equipped with some cool abilities and skills.
Here are some more controls to help you in the Genin Exams (tutorial) you’ll face later on:
- Space + Dash = Air Dash
- H = Sub-weapons like the Shuriken
- F = Defense
- F + F (hold) = To use train items
- B = Chakra Charge
- J = Chakra foot Jump
- Shift (second) = Chakra Foot
Tutorial
The first part of the game starts with you spawning in a random location. Once you spawn in the game, you’re going to have to go over to the Hokage Ishikage and speak to him. To find you’ll need to take the assist of the pointer.
You can use L to activate and Deactivate the point markers.
The pointers at the start of the game should lead you to the Ishikage so just follow it to your destination.
The pointer will take you to a building called the Kage of Fire room. You’ll have to go to the top floors.
Way at the top, you’ll find Ishikage in the room. The building is a bit confusing to navigate through but the pointer should help you find him. When you talk to him, he’s going to ask you if you’d like to become a student, to which the obvious answer is “Yes.”
Next, you’re going to have to visit Aruka and join the Academy. Again the pointers will help you get to the location for your main quests. You can even hover over the icons on your little map at the top right corner to see labels and to learn which icon belongs to which NPC.
Genin Exam
Aruka will be responsible for overseeing your Genin Exam, which is also the tutorial of the game to get you familiar with the controls and combat mechanics.
Parts of the exam will involve basic combat skills like:
- Destroying 5 Logs
- Using 10 Shuriken.
You can find these in your inventory as shown previously and then drag your shurikens to your bag to equip them. You can then use H to throw them.
- Using 3 Jutsu
To use a Jutsu, go to your Skill Tree in the menu option and then click on Element.
When you click on Element, there will be an option to choose either fire or water. You can choose either of those options. For instance, if you chose fire, the first skill would be Fire Shuriken. You can unlock the fire shuriken skill from the skill tree by using a skill point.
You can even set a key bind for that skill from the option in the lower right corner.
You can now use your new skill thrice on the log to complete the tutorial by pressing the key you assigned to said skill.
- Using 1 chakra Foor
For the rest of the tasks, you can even refer to the controls list shown previously. The tutorial ends once you complete all of these tasks. After that, you’ll have to go back to Ishikage and talk to him again.
Missions
Ishikage will now introduce missions to you. Your first mission as a brand new Ninja will be to collect 5 trash around the town. The trash might be a little harder to spot but not too difficult to find because they are scattered all over town.
You’ll have the option to mop up the trash as shown in the image above. From here on, you’ll be given a ton of different quests to complete, gain XP, and earn rewards.
Don’t forget to upgrade and gain as many skills as you can from your skill tree. Your skills will be of good use to you when you’re completing missions or during combat as you fight enemies or bosses.
Rewards, Achievements, Codes
Don’t forget to claim your daily rewards allowing you to earn some cool items. For additional rewards, you’ll also need to complete the tasks shown in the achievements options.
You should get a ton of boosts from completing these.
Finally, as a beginner, you can get a headstart by redeeming some of the codes that the game has to offer. Here is a functioning code you can use:
deladinhoproscrias
And your beginner guide concludes here. If you keep in mind the controls and ensure that you follow all the steps, you’re ready to enter the world of Naruto through The Time of Ninja.
