If you’ve been playing the new and awesome tactical extraction FPS, Arena Breakout: Infinite, then you’re probably having fun showcasing your shooting skills and strategies, looting, as well as improving your character and equipment. In the game, you’ll be required to use the in-game money called “Koen”, if you want to get access to high-quality equipment. Other than that, maybe you just want to grow out your wealth as much as you can, and “whale” Koens. In this guide, I’ll show you all the tricks and information I know about getting rich in the game.
How To Get Rich
There are multiple ways and tricks you can use to get rich in Arena Breakout: Infinite, and it should definitely start on understanding how the dynamic market of the game works, and its economy.
I won’t be mentioning obvious stuff like looting high-value items (eg. Gold Lion Statue), although I will still provide tips and tricks you can do to get them much easier, and more helpful information on my guide’s “Additional tips and tricks” section.
Either way, by the end of the guide, you’ll know how to make quick and easy cash in the game!
Understanding the In-game Economy & Market
As you already know, Arena Breakout: Infinite has a market system. Basically, you’ll be able to buy and sell items, mirroring an auction-like design. I’ll provide information to help you understand the importance of the in-game market.
True Value & Average Value
First up, I recommend that you always check the value and the true value of the items you come across. In case you’re not sure what’s the different between the two, here’s an explanation:
- True Value – It’s the value or price that the game provides or at least suggests for an item. For example, the M4A1 is priced as 35,000 Koen on the market. However, other players might be willing to pay much more or less, depending on lots of factors, like overall effectiveness of the gun, etc.
- Value (or Average Value) – Basically, it’s the value or price that the player base provides for an item. How is it computed? Well, all the negotiations made in the game are recorded and used to calculate an average. This average takes into account the prices at which items have actually been bought and sold in recent transactions.
- For instance, if the M4A1 is consistently sold at prices ranging from 30,000 to 40,000 Koen, its average value would be calculated from these figures. This average provides a more accurate reflection of what players are generally willing to pay for an item at any given time.
By comparing the true value with the average value, you can get a sense of whether an item is over- or under-valued in the current market. If the average value is significantly higher than the true value, it might indicate high demand or scarcity, making it a good time to sell. Vice-versa, if the average value is lower, you might want to hold off on selling until the market stabilizes.
Market Trends (Using Average Value to Your Advantage)
Many players overlook potential profits by selling items at the lowest recommended price. To truly capitalize on the market, it’s essential to analyze the market trends and set a strategic selling price.
For instance, if the market suggests listing a Sports Backpack for 5,475 Koen, but the average selling price is 6,750 Koen, don’t just settle for the floor price. Instead, position your item within the price range between the market floor and the average price.
By doing so, you can attract buyers while still maximizing your earnings. This approach ensures you’re not leaving money on the table and takes advantage of the market’s current demand dynamics. That’s why I recommend that you frequently or at least regularly check the market trends graph to see the high in-demand items.
Also, when purchasing parts for gunsmithing, refresh the prices frequently to catch newly listed, lower-priced items. This simple tactic can save you thousands of Koen on firearm builds, ensuring you get the best deals without overspending.
Buying from Contacts & Selling Them in the Market
Many players recommend that this is the best approach to making money in the game, besides the obvious fact of doing countless runs/raids and looting.
Deke Vinson (the Best Contact)
Basically, how it works is, first, you’ll need to head over to your contacts in the game. One of your key connections is Deke Vinson. The reason why is because Deke restocks his inventory every few hours, which gives you regular opportunities to make some quick cash.
Once you’ve linked up with Deke, navigate to his inventory and click on the option to get limited-time items. You’ll see a variety of items available for purchase. The trick here is to buy these items at Deke’s true price and then flip them on the market for a profit.
Using True Value & Average Value to Make Profit
For example, let’s say Deke is offering a backpack for 20,000 Keons. You can look up this backpack on the market by clicking the small search button as shown below.
If it’s selling for 67,000 Keons on the market, you’re looking at a profit of around 47,000 coins after your purchase. Basically, you rinse and repeat this method until you’re swimming in cash. However, while this method works great for most items, be careful when buying weapons.
For example, the market only shows the price of the main part of the weapon, but Deke may be selling you the entire weapon with all its attachments. Listing these on the market can be tricky because each part takes up a slot, and you have a limited number of slots for listing items. Use your slots wisely.
List & Resell Your Items
Now that you’ve got your items, it’s time to list them on the market. To sell quickly, list your items at a price slightly below the lowest price on the market. This makes sure that your items will sell fast, which gives you more opportunities to repeat the process.
Keep in mind that the prices on the market fluctuate as players buy and sell items, so your profit margins might change. Also, remember that a management fee will be deducted from your selling price. The fee varies based on the item’s value and how long you keep it listed.
You can only list up to 500 items each week and are limited to 12 slots every time you list. Make sure you’re using these slots efficiently by focusing on items that will yield the highest profit.
Additional Tips & Tricks
- Utilize scav runs to gather loot without risking your Tactical Ops (Operator) gear. Scav runs have a cooldown but allow you to enter raids with a randomly generated character and gear. Also, you should focus on high-value items and extraction points.
- Complete quests from Contacts (like Deke Vinson mentioned above) to earn monetary rewards, valuable items, and experience. Quests often unlock new items for purchase and offer significant financial benefits.
- Learn the locations of valuable items such as UPS Units, Gold Lion Statues, TI Modules, and other rare loot. Maps like Farm, Valley, and TV Station are prime locations for high-value items, although some recommend the Armory. You can use online resources and interactive maps to familiarize yourself with loot spawns.
Summing things up
So, that pretty much sums it up for my guide in making the most money in Arena Breakout: Infinite. Needless to say (since you’ve already finished up my guide), it’s really about learning and mastering how the market works, as well as making sure you use the values to your advantage.
There may be more advanced tips and tricks that I can provide in the future. But in the meantime, have a good time buying and reselling from our champ, Deke Vinson – as well as go to countless runs and raids until you’re swimming in cash. Or at least laying, like our dude Huell over here.
