Arena Breakout: Infinite is now out on early access through their official website, and it marks yet another addition to the long line of extraction shooters in the market. As with other titles in the genre, there is a lot of risk that goes on with each raid, and going on a slump will lead to you having little to no resources left. In this guide, we have a few cheap builds that you can try out if you find yourself running low on stuff and cash!

Best 6 CHEAP Gun Builds

Before we get started, these builds listed below are merely suggestions for either new players or those who have run out of resources. There are undoubtedly much better setups, but these will increase your chances of successful looting runs for a very low price!

The weapons covered here will have varying effective ranges. This will ensure that most playstyles are covered and that you aren’t forced to use something that you might not be comfortable with. Alternatives will also be provided for some.

SIDE NOTE: Don’t forget to check out our guide on how to get rich in Arena Breakout Infinite as well so you know exactly what to do with all the loot gained from using these guns!

Gun #1 – M14 Carbine (Medium Range)

First up, we have the M14 under the Carbines category in the Gunsmith. This is a decent budget mid range weapon, and for this setup, you only need to attach any cheap sight that you prefer using.

It’s just a really inexpensive yet effective weapon that can shred players as long as your aim is decent. The only thing to keep in mind is that you should aim for the legs if facing somebody with high tier armor.

ALTERNATIVE: You can also use the BM59. It uses the same ammo type and is effective at roughly the same range. Compared to the M14, it will be a little more expensive, but you can use a suppressor with it if you need a quieter gun.

Gun #2 – MP5 (Short Range)

The MP5 is a surprisingly powerful weapon for how cheap it is, as long as you know how to play to its strengths. First, you just need to have the following attachments on it:

  • 9mm Muzzle Break
  • 20 or 30 round magazine –This is dependent on how much you are willing to spend.
  • A cheap red dot sight

Before finalizing your assembly, don’t forget to remove the rear sight as well to reduce the price by just a little bit more. Once you have more funds lying around, consider using a suppressor as well.

Finally, for this build, you will want to make use of the 9x19mm Dum-Dum bullets. These are particularly strong when used against unarmored parts, such as a person’s legs, and spraying a few rounds into those will get you a quick and easy kill.

ALTERNATIVE: The MAC-10 Micro SMG is an okay alternative that you can try out if you have a really tight budget. It is cheaper overall, even with a basic sight and more attached to it. With this gun, you will also be using the much cheaper .45 HS rounds.

Gun #3 – SKS (Medium to Long Range)

This one is for all of you expert marksmen out there who prefer to stay at a relatively long distance away from people. The SKS can be monstrous in the right hands, and the following attachments will be handy:

  • 10-round SKS Magazine
  • SKS Modern Integrated Polymer Stock – This will improve ergonomics and make it slightly lighter.
  • KGB Lightweight AK Rear Grip – Same reasoning as the stock choice.
  • SKS Suppressor – This will help conceal your position, which is even more helpful for long range fights
  • The PSO 4x Scope/Sight

Same as the other weapon, you will also want to remove your rear sight. With this setup, it will be a bit on the pricey side, but this will let you stay hidden and safely take out enemies from a fairly long distance.

Gun #4 – Mosin (Long Range)

If you want to take it a step further when it comes to long distance shooting, you could consider switching over to a Mosin. This gun has a decently long effective range, and you can get by with mostly the default attachments.

With that said, you can try out the following attachments for a bit of an extra oomph:

  • AKM Muzzle Adapter
  • Long Barrel Flash Suppressor
  • Mosin Rifle Sight Mount + 3.5x Scope Ring Base
  • 3.5x Rifle Scope to go with the mount.

Using this setup, your goal is to pop heads from a distance. It has a bit of a learning curve for inexperienced snipers, but it is incredibly cheap and packs a hell of a punch. If you ever feel comfortable with it, adding a suppressor might be a good upgrade later on.

Gun #5 – S12K (Short Range)

The S12K is a semi-auto shotgun that, needless to say, is mainly effective at shorter ranges. For this weapon, we are mainly only going to be focusing on hip firing a lot. As such, the following adjustments are made:

  • No sights attached – This part is a no-brainer, since we’re going to be blasting people without aiming down sights.
  • 20 round magazine – If you are on a tighter budget, the 10 round mag is also viable.
  • Lightweight AK Rear Grip – The default one is fine too.
  • S12k Superb Short Handguard + the cheapest laser tac attachment
  • 12x70mm GT Slug ammo

The last part, which is using slugs over buckshot, is important. Since the game leans a little heavily towards hyper realism, there is a significant difference between these two ammo types.

Slugs will allow you to reliably land hits at slightly longer ranges and concentrate your shots to specific body parts. In this case, you want to be shooting legs.

Just like the MP5 a few entries above, this setup will allow you to shred even heavily armored players with some well-aimed leg shots. You can also slot in a suppressor if you can cough up the extra 23k for it.

Gun #6 – AKM (Medium Range)

Finally, we have the iconic AKM. There are actually a couple of ways to go about this while keeping the assembly price at a relatively cheap amount. Here are some attachment suggestions that you can try out (anything left out = keep default):

  • AKM to PT Adapter + AK PT1 Stock – This will improve your weight and ergonomics, as well as provide slightly better recoil control.
  • EKP-8-18 Reflex Sight
  • DT Threaded Muzzle Adapter + 46 Multi-Caliber Suppressor – If you are on a tight budget, you can skip this and opt for a loud build as suppressors are expensive in general.
  • Take off the Rear Sight
  • AK Custom Composite Handguard + 4.1” Modular Lock Rail – The latter is found in the lowermost base slot
  • Short Vertical Front Grip – Requires the Modular Lock Rail and will help mitigate vertical recoil.

With this setup, you will have a cheap but powerful assault rifle that you can reliably spray without the recoil getting too crazy. As always, aim for the legs if facing players with high tier armor.

ALTERNATIVE: You can also use the AK-74N with a somewhat default build. This is going to be slightly cheaper, and you can slot in an AK Series Wooden 10/63 Handguard and the EKP-8-02 Reflex Sight as a bit of an upgrade from the stock setup.
